He was incredibly charismatic, constantly sought to plug the holes of his knowledge, and because nobody thought twice when dealing with him until they realized they'd been conned.

Lived ~2 minutes from a small 2-screen theater that closed soon after graduating high school - as it couldn't compete with a multiplex that had opened nearby... really sucks, as it was a nice, cozy place. ;(

Flying publicly was kinda a new thing, it was super popular, and seen as really awesome. Only the best of the best pilots were allowed to fly a plane, makes sense when you think that each plane would carry hundreds of people, so that pilot had to be responsible for them all
Do you not realize that 60 years ago flying was extremely rare. Imagine in the future flying to space/Moon/Mars etc and there’s only a few pilots on Earth that can do that and you happen to see one walking down the street in his uniform. Can guarantee you’d stop and stare

German Aviation well yeah but keep in mind this film took place in the 60s back when Pan Am still uses the classic 707 and they needed 3 pilots to operate the Captain, first officer and lastly the second officer or the flight Engineer and usually the flight Engineer has only 2 stripes.

It's interesting how even in today's time, hotels and airline crews still have that reciprocal agreement to cash checks... Frank also said that what he did in the 60s, is much easier today, but with added layers of scrutiny. He used a printing press, nowadays criminals use templates and easy to purchase check paper + printers to forge checks...in the case of airline IDs, it's all about making one and holding it up, simple as that, which is pretty scary

I was eventually arrested in the game sadly and never got to build up my career on that game after the incident. Don’t be like me or the character here! Do things the right way!

In the uniform shop Frank was wearing a second officer uniform then he was wearing the uniform of a first officer.
He probably changed it himself stitch stripes on or something

They didn't have computers. He used Morgan's number or made up a fake one in the form. By the time PanAm tried to verify it would've been too late.
