New videos ever Saturday at noon!
I live literally a mile away
..it's not at all like these guys are making it out to be. People still live there. It's fine. No smoke anymore, or flames. You might see some steam cause it's cold in this video. It's actually a huge off road park now. Lol
Smells like rotten eggs there and its a complete ghost town
Fun Facts for you: The Real Life Silent Hill church that's Located in the heart of Hamilton, Ontario Canada NOT Pennsylvania as most think, game creator (Keiichirō Toyama) has said in multiple interviews over the years he has never seen in person Centralia or the church at the time of writing up the story only heard of the Story of Centralia so the Real church in PA isn't actually the Silent Hill church as Keiichiro did visit Canada and that's the Church he used an based the design for Silent Hill game off of, which is the same Church movie used. The Cathedral Church sits on ,4 Queen St S, Hamilton ON L8P 3R3 known as The Scottish Rite Charitable Foundation of Canada. As well as all locations in the movie are with-in driving distance of Church.
Wow!Great video, guys. I guess I never knew Silent Hill was based on Centralia!!! Excellent work!
@@danieldupree2746 thank you for watching!! So glad you enjoyed our video ✌🏽
They covered up Graffiti Highway because they were tired of all the tourists bothering the remaining residents…..not because you can fall through….
Who would you even ask to confirm this?
@@tonyortega8660 , I live near Centralia…..
How do the remaining residents commute to and from the city?
@@Chernochegger , there is another road that drives passed Centralia, it called route 61
Also safety reasons
The sun warms the tombstones…. They melt the snow closest to it….
Learning about this has made me want to watch Silent Hill again with this new learned perspective.
@@kinghorseman7696 thanks for checking out our video ✌🏽
Looks like you just need a dirtbike to get around, and some backpack contraption to get groceries.
@@elliotmorley9075 that’s accurate for sure haha
This is 3 hours away from me.. crazy history.. it amazes me that people are still living in the area
@@Shade_razor-79 same here!! It seems so unsafe but that is their home
You never did find the Town . I live nearby . The places you were walking ( besides the highway) were still being used.
“The Geyser” looks to me like a broken pipe or well or something . The cold water flowing on the ground looked like a natural spring. I’m pretty sure that church is also still being used. They wouldn’t bother plowing it otherwise. You can look up other videos on Centralia and actually see the town. There was like four people living there. Some years back. I’m not sure if they’re still there or not though. it would’ve been helpful if you guys tried to contact Local to show you around..
The geyser isn't a well or broken pipe, from what I've read it is possibly a pipe that was to drain the mines of ground water. In other videos I've seen, it is gushing higher as in several feet in the air then this. It was mentioned that if you go to 1 of the several mine drainage pipes after a good rain they will be flowing more. This is also said to have helped the fire in the old mines spread faster due to lower ground water levels in the mines. If thinking this is a broken water supply line for the town, there is no water treatment plant or water Tower to produce the pressure. Making this just the water draining from the mines under the area. I was just in Centralia this past weekend visiting as it's been one of my must see places since learning about it. The geyser in video wasn't but about a foot of that gushing out of the ground when I was there.
That's awesome. And that geyser tho.... insane.
Yes! We have no idea why it’s even there. Such a random thing to find
@AmericanXplorers It'd be interesting to get an accurate temp on that water. So crazy. ❤️
Really great video
Thank you!! We really appreciate that!
i live 15 minutes away from there
Once the people left the government bulldozed their houses down and there was nothing left to let someone know there once was a house there
@@aprilscarl5010 yes, it’s sad and also very suspicious
Looks nice. I almost planned trying camp out a winter there if things got bad where I'm at. For now that sits as a last minute option.
I just hope fish are in the area still.
@@LGBTQAprimalpossumheadquarters I hope you do not have to resort to that but it would be fun to camp out there for a night
@@AmericanXplorers its the fact there is a heat source there. I wouldnt mind it.

My art is there 😊 being from PA it was such a great place to explore..BUT it was covered from to many disrespectful tourists that's why it was covered.
Yourself included. No "respectful" tourist goes there to paint over a tombstone of a city. 😂 Its laughable you think you're innocent in this.
@@ChinalakesnakeFinally someone who actually knows right and wrong!
Wow
It was wild to explore. We had no idea what was going to happen
You are crazy don't people get it this place is called a ghost town for a reason why go
