You can actually beat this without the engi if you have good luck because sometimes the boss can spam enemies alot the stuns aren't really a threat if you got medics but still without medics you can probably get the boss to like 600k
In the match I played one person had rangers and another turrets me golden minis and all of us having accelerator with support and at least 4 or 5 medics

Engineer makes a big difference honestly on the game i won everybody had engineer and we killed the boss super early but i did another game later where like 1 person didn’t have engineer and he got really close to the end

Hey John I have actually won this event on my second try using toxicity cat strategy (justharrison). This map does require everyone to have accelerator but you can beat it without engineer and no golden towers at all.
I think why the Nuclear Monster has 1.5 Mil HP, is because he is a monster. You know the Monster in the game? What if the Monster was called Magma Monster. And then the Nuclear Monster is mutated because its nuclear...

I beat this first try with friends but of course its only for higher tier players. We all had ideas of where to place things since we all did the old polluted wastelands. One of us had engineers, other had stun support and the others were purely offense and farming, i also suggest white field strat if you arent going stratless.

Its weird to see a lot of lvl 50 players go and try to beat polluted wastelands over and over again not knowing its impossible for them to win

1:43 that was on wave 38 wasn't it. 16 giant bosses spawn on that wave (used to be 20), and in polluted spawns amalgamations instead.

Engineer isnt really a requirement to win, but accelerator certainly is (engineer makes wave 40 just a bit easier)
Both can make u win alone but hey, you would rather use both of them( since accel cant retarget to the spawns so) that’s where engineers comes in handy. Minis and turrets can be still there but it’s not enough dps if it’s close to the end. And have u seen this video? Wave 40 was like much easier compared to what RUclipsrs did while only using accel

So, as we all know, Polluted Wasteland II is giving a lot of us a hard time. In fact, I’m writing this just after a failed run and the boss got in with 3K health (pain). So, this will cover a strategy that is nearly guaranteed to work. However, you will need three trusted and experienced players as randoms are mostly less experienced and less trusted, just like doing the Hidden Wave when it was still in the game prior to December 4 2021.
Loadouts:
Player 1 -Turret, Accelerator, Farm, DJ, Sledger
Player 2 - Farm, Commander, Medic, Electroshocker, Accelerator
Player 3 - Farm, Ace Pilot, Accelerator, Ranger, Golden Pyromancer
Player 4 - Farm, Accelerator, Engineer, Ace Pilot/Pursuit, Golden Minigunner
Game:
Anyone who has Ace Pilot should be defending first. However, only one with the tower should be defending. Place it next to the vat on the second loop and as close to the midsection as possible.
Skip the first few waves so Player 3 can get a Golden Pyromancer. It should be level 2 by Wave 10. Place it in between loops 1 and 3.
Player 2 has a lot to do. They should have 4 level 3 Farms by wave 13 and a level 2 Accelerator by wave 11. Get 4 more level 3 Farms and save for 2 level 2 Commanders and a level 3 Commander, or if possible, get a max Accelerator.
Player 1 meanwhile must get a Golden Minigunner by wave 10, place it in the first loop as with the Accelerators. It should be level 2 by wave 14. They should also have at least 2 level 3 Sledgers next to the Ace Pilot(s) is/are/was/were. Selling it/them is allowed but not mandatory, but what is mandatory is getting a level 3 DJ between loops 1 and 3 next to the Pyromancer.
All players must balance defending and farming until Wave 16.
Player 3 should get a level 3 Accelerator by wave 17, and Player 2’s Accelerator should be level 4. If you have the Commanders mentioned earlier and have spare cash, use it on 2 or 3 level 3-4 Electroshockers and pair them with the Sledgers to immobilize the Amalgamations on waves 22 and 23.
Meanwhile, Player 2 should be chaining Call To Arms. Player 4 should have at least 2 level 3 Engineers by wave 26 to help take down the Circuit rush as they replace both the Glitch and Bug. While this is happening, any space not taken up in loop 1 by now must be by wave 30. By that wave, at least 3 Turrets, 12 Accelerators, 4 Engineers, 3 Electroshockers, and 4 Sledgers should be present.
Max out all three Commanders and continue chaining, especially now that the Abomination has made its debut with a high amount of health and its ability to revive itself from death with half its original health. If you haven’t maxed your Farms yet, do so after you have at least 20 Accelerators, half of which should be max. By then, the DJ should be maxed as well as the remaining support towers. Pyromancer is obsolete, so if you haven’t by now, get rid of it, unless you plan on reducing the defense levels of Nuclear Guardians on Wave 40.
By wave 34, Player 2 should be placing down Medics, upgrading it to max level, and using its ability whenever they hear the “OOUGH” stun sound effect to cleanse its stun. However, this may prove very challenging as they must also manage Commander Abilities as well as, if they have not completed this already, maxing all Accelerators. If needed, one player should have Medic and another should use Commander to reduce the heavy burden they carry, unless you know they have extreme talent in terms of spamming like this and have seen it in the past (for example, Hidden Wave or Polluted Wasteland 1).
By wave 38, all Farms should be sold as the sheer cash gained will be enough to micromanage any tower in any number. Plus, you get to place more useful towers. By wave 40, all players should have reached their tower limit, maybe except for player 2 if they’re mindlessly spamming abilities by now and completely ignoring everything else, which may be good considering their job.
Now comes the finale. Golden Pyromancer could actually be essential for the first time in over a year (thanks Frost Invasion Pyro). This is due to its ability to heavily reduce defense by a hefty 50%, for example if it attacks a Fallen Guardian which has 80% defense, it will not be 40%. Combined with Electroshocker, you could chip away 70% or even 90% if you bring Freezer (it’s just bad. Period). 32 Accelerators, 5 Turrets, 6 Engineers, several Golden Minigunners and Ace Pilots combined with Electroshocker and Sledger could prove deadly. If you are Player 2, do not ever worry about other things other than spamming and using Medic and Commander. After the boss has passed the second loop, begin to micro Accelerators to around loops 2 and 3, and place DJ and Commanders near the part of the path that sticks between them.
If you have done everything right, then congratulations. You defeated the Nuclear Fallen King’s successor. That’s a solid score of 2-0 right there. Shame that it didn’t release in April.

Trivia about Polluted Wastelands II and its enemies:
The Nuclear Monster has three times the health of the boss that preceded it.
This is similar to when the Nuclear Fallen King was added, when it had 450,000 health to the Fallen King's 150,000, the boss it replaced on Fallen Mode for Polluted Wastelands I.
The Nuclear Monster’s theme is a remix of that of the Nuclear Fallen King, which, in turn, is a remix of the “You Lost!” theme used between October 13 2019 and October 29 2020.
The Nuclear Guardian is tied with the Frost Hero from Outpost 32 in terms of how much health it has for a non-major boss, surpassing major bosses such as the Molten Boss.
Similarly to its first counterpart, Polluted Wasteland II released on the 29th day of a month, with the first being in April 2020 and the second being in July 2022.
It is the first non-event map to have more than two ambiance soundtracks.
Unlike every other boss soundtrack, the boss soundtrack for the Nuclear Monster plays immediately after the wave starts, similarly to boss soundtracks in the past.
The Nuclear Monster is the only boss that has its entire array of enemies (save for Mysteries, Shadow Bosses, and Mystery Bosses) changed in some way.
It is implied that the Nuclear Monster is the successor to the Nuclear Fallen King in not only just mechanics, but also in terms of its enemies as the Circuit, Rusher, and Amalgamation return as more effective and lethal opponents.

I won with only 3 people with the accelerator, no medics, no engineers, with a level 45, and the boss got destroyed. Basically what I'm saying is that polluted wasteland II isn't that hard well if you are rich.

Dude the rewards are super underwhelming for the amount of skill and rng to beat the game. I'm one of the badge owners and it took me almost 30+ tries to beat it! I only beat it cause I was random joining games and got in a game with similar level experiences ( Level 160 - 200 ) and we all had accelerators and gold towers. All that just for a hazmat electro-shocker :/

If you get a max sledger before wave 22 you get a free carry with no golden towers no cap, the only tower you need to beat this is accel, engineer is a bit optional.

You can ebat this without golden towers and engi it's basically pure spam of sledger cowboys and then Accel

accel is the best dps rn then sledger and toxic gunner is good for the stuns and slowing down the enemies then medic heals stunned towers and for dj and commander they boost towers a lot
for early defense you can get ace pilot if you dont have any other cheap towers
engi not required, just spam minigunners, golden would be reccomended
the accel each player has to have accel since the place limit is there, sledger or toxic gunner is fine too or both is also good dj and commander must have at least one player, medic ehh you would hope the boss wont spam stuns but better if medic is present

Using Gold perk Pyro as an temporary tower in the closes range can get you more than 10 waves as long its 2 lvl 2 btw
Spam skip to wave 4 few seconds wasted = death and then place gold pyro and upgrade to lvl 2 and ez early game defense

I got to age 40 and I was 5000 health away from beating it but the freaking nuclear monster spawned some zombies which made me looose!
