Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I am very open to being corrected. I may not be thinking clearly, but some, definitely not all of these concepts seem to be a wash with regards to increased utility and space savings. I'm a new sub, find this channel fascinating due to his workmanship and creativity. I realize that he his goal is mainly to do cool projects and not especially a huge step in utility....which he does, but if I'm just not holding my mouth right when I watch these, I want to be enlightened.

When you made the tube handles, you made me cry, when you find it didn't work, I stopped crying. When you made the hole handles it makes the design to an upper level, sometimes mistakes uncover beauty.

Brilliant. I really liked the bit where it didn't fit with the handles so you improved it! Too many RUclips videos like this are "here's one I prepared earlier then unscrewed for reassembly on camera"!

Great idea. I would install some stops both on the sliding panels and the inside top of the cabinet to keep the panel from being pulled out too far. Or use full extension drawer slides if it's in the budget, or if you have extra kicking around.

All i could think was friction & how hard this would be to move this heavh box over the wood bench shelf would be after a while... Glad you waxed the vertical board ends, but using melsmine or teflon strips would help prdvent binding & frustration over time... But I do love the concept!!

Really a very practicable Idea. I recognized only one thing, I wouldn't have done your way: when you made the fingerholes i would have turned the plywood front to the backside. Cause now you can see the screwholes you made before...
