I think Celebi would be a better Doctor Strange since:
- Doctor Strange can bend time | Celebi is a time traveling Pokémon
- Doctor Strange has magical powers | Celebi is a Psychic type
- Doctor Strange is very strong | Celebi is a (mythical) legendary
- Doctor Strange was a doctor | Celebi can learn healing moves
- Doctor Strange carries the time stone which is green | Celebi is green

I know this is late, but I feel like Hoopa unbound would be a better fit for Doctor Strange, it pretty much has all the same powers and abilities as Alakazam, with the added ability of creating rings that can transport it and other creatures to different places throughout the universe, and I also feel like Hoopa unbound matches Doctor Strange’s colour scheme more
True, but Hoopa's personality is definitely quite different from Doctor Strange's. Hoopa is mischievous and irresponsible when it comes to using its powers, practically the direct opposite of Doctor Strange.

Speaking of Ultra Necrozma, I just finished ultra moon for the first time ever. I was not prepared for ultra Necrozma at all. The only reason I beat him was because I got lucky with my Altaria (because I was doing a dragon type only run) surviving on 1 hp after Necrozma' s dragon pulse 6 times in a row and killing it with multiple Moonblasts
