It's such a clever design to have the doublers round the front of the plane, so much more strength than having separate ones! Genius!
Will there be downloadable plans for these three planes? Please don’t stop doing the great things you all do. Thanks
Ya, i'm agree with you
My youngest son's school does STEM though he is yet too young. I got permission to donate PowerUp free flight paper airplane sets this year. This coming year I want to donate these easy power packs and, at least, kits from the EZ Basix Bundle. Thanx so much for your hard work bringing people into the hobby, and making school & learning fun, exciting, and interesting enough to draw children in. Not only can I also donate foam, but it is afford for educators. You guys rock!
They should keep making designs for this power pack
I think the next bundle will be the designs from the Star Trek fiasco, along with warning signs for flag poles and bird houses...
saying hello and thank you for making the plans for this stuff free online i recently finished my first drone a long ez and am trying to make it fly as a gyro stabilized glider and am building a versa wing to try and fight fires with . thanks again for being awesome people
I built and flew mine. A couple tips.
- if you are going to put on the RC pieces, I would recommend run the right motor wires through the hole in the fuselage, through the hole in the circuit board and then plug it in BEFORE you mount the engine OR the circuit board on the aircraft. There is not a lot of extra wire and I spent more time trying to fish that little white plug through the hole and getting it plugged in than I did on the entire rest of the build.
-If you use double sided tape to mount the circuit board, make it a little long to extend below the bottom of the board to protect the power switch and the LED. Also check it after every crash..er landing to make sure it isn't loose. I flew with on that was loose... if you want to call that bucking bronco a flight.
-If you are outside and there is any more that a light constant steady breeze, keep it in low rates. This plane in high rates and gusts is a recipe to make lawn darts as the stabilization freaks out in choppy air and high rates.
Alhamdulillah, finally there is content. this is a good design. Thank you very much.
Where can I get the plans for this. I love it
but where are the free plans at tho
This is an exciting way to get my Grandchildren into Flying!!! THANKS guys!
Please stay SAFE! 😷

Josh, according to Ed at experimental airlines, dihedral does not work like you (and most other people) believe. The wing that is most horizontal does not produce more lift as lift is a result of the airfoil section, which hasn't changed. Apparently it's something to do with the angle of the leading edge, if I remember correctly. I watched his video a few years ago where he explained it. I didn't understand it at the time and I sure can't understand it now, but you might find it interesting to check out what he said.
Where can I find the plans - not kits - for your model aircraft? You guys are GREAT!
John, go to the site where you can find kits, and near the description of the kit, it will say resources. The plans are there.
@@nitchip I went to the site and didnt see anything that said resources?
Is there free plans to download for this and other 2 planes in EZ Basix Bundle???
I love these little 2ch power packs. I've made some nice little balsa models using the system
Is there a good place to buy balsa? I’m very new but I thought it would be fun to do what you are doing.
@@user-otzlixr hobby lobby is where I get mine
Thanks for this. This will be our first build once our FT STEM Micro Freighter breaks beyond the help of glue and tape.
Nice plane and a nice build Josh, but I'd hot glue the motors in. If you want to swap electronics rubbing alcohol (surgical spirit in the UK) makes hot glue release cleanly. Just use an eye dropper or dribble some with a toothpick or cotton bud on the glue joint and it'll come off nice and easy.
Josh,
would it be possible to design multiple tails, wings, fuselages, etc that could be interchangeable to make many different designs?
Ohhh.... it has a receiver,ESC,gyro, all in one, i didn't expect that little plane has gyro. It's Value for money 💲. "In lockdown, fun only at backyard now". ✈
Great job, Josh!
Josh is the Bob Ross of aircraft assembly.
The Peter Draws of model aviation
Maybe a stupid question. And probably already answered somewhere.
Is it performance enhancing to sanding down the trailing edges. To create more of a aerofoil shape and reducing drag from the clunky trailing edge?
Are there free plans for these 3 ez planes?
Where can i get the plans please THX ;)
I love you Josh hope you stay safe can you make a mini p40 please.
Your back yard is not very big??? You and I have VERY different thoughts about small backyards. Mines about 15ft by 20ft.
Just built the EZ Canard with my son and our plane stalls to the left and dives into the ground. We've tried many adjustments to the foam and cannot correct the stall. What are we doing wrong?
Hey Josh, could you suggest this as a good chuck glider have a half piece of foamboard remaining would like have a quarantine project. Thanks for the amazing content.
Hi Josh,
I'm from India
Could you share the design in the link to make it ourself
Can this be used as a chuck glider?
Yes, i believe he mentions it at the beginning of the build videos
Hello, where can I buy only the models, all electronics I already have, thanks
How would all of the different style work f planes fly within the space of a typical school gymnasium? This would be awesome for my FT STEM class at my school! 😁
Hey Josh! For Kids that are to young for razor blades, Guitar Pics make a great replacement :-)
Chris Mills love that idea!
Greeings... to balance, i had to add a nut at the nose, with the battery all the way at front of slot. Is this typical? And what is the max AUW? Thanks in advance
Hi Flite Test. I can't find the download plans for the EZ Canard......
Sir, how much rpm needs for this kind of toy plane? I have tiny vibrator motor the one used in mobile phone, is it suitable? I have removed the part that responsible for vibration. Thanks.
Nice a bought a ft mini Mustang 👌👌👌
Cool nice dicenig is posible put a t tail like Perfomance in this
Is there any RTF canard RC airplanes that's on the market now? Thanks!
are you going to add the EZ pack to your normal store as well or just the stem.
Sasha Fleming mainly these will be available through our stem store, but will eventually make it to hobby shops and out main store once we get more inventory of electronics
Where is the link to this power pack? I just need that power pack w/remote
when do you expect to start selling these? I see the link is still just for pre-order
Can you use a foam Walmart plane with this pack
Hi Flite test, I’ve got quite a big issue with my emax tinyhawk freestyle, and I was hoping that you could help out. It came in the mail yesterday, and on the first flight, it got up in the air, flew for a bit, then looked to of failsafed. This has happened every time I have tried to fly it, just failsafeing about 5 metres away from me. I tried installing an xm receiver, to no avail. Do you have any tips? I would love a reply
It's best to contact Customer Service through your point of purchase (A-Main, or Flite Test), or you can go to the FT Forum for help. 👍
What's that blue beauty behind you to your right?
Can you bind it to a hobby grade dsmx radio
Hello sir I am biggest fan of flite test team
I am from India
I have a question ....how to know the correct cg of any plane
Sir please reply me making a video on this topic
1/3 of the wing is a great start. I like to toss the plane as a glider and move the weight until I get a good glide slope. Then I mark the balance point and complete the build. If it glides... it flies!
Please please sell these seperately as well as the bundle.
Does it come in mode 1?
Not entirely correct to compare this to the Eurofighter Typhoon. The foreplane of the Typhoon is lightly loaded, i.e. the Typhoon is statically unstable, so it works in a slightly different way.
I thought I would find refuge here from Stefan's screaming. I was wrong.
Plz I want to contact or call you because I need your help in my cessna airplane please🙏
Taha Mohmed make an account on Flitetest forums if you don’t already. Post your questions and problems you are having and you will gets lots of advice.
@@norcal_jetsetter8082 Thanks
Named after trey canard?
So is this a 2 channel?
Yes. Variable thrust for banking and throttle for pitch control
now build a bi wing version WITH TAIL.. youre incorrect.. many military planes kept the tail and added the forewing
Can you send me a plane😂
this is possibly the easiest build I've seen.
Awful lot of sub 250 gram planes lately. You know something we don't?
