The Rockwell stainless is the best stainless razor on the market, also at the lowest price. My #2 favorite razor is the glorious Karve CB, but Rockwell 6c and 6s is the Holy Grail.
Just got my Futur and a 1967 Gillette Slim. Both are more aggressive than my Rockwell 6c. Did 1/2 with the Gillette set on 1 and opened up to 6 of 9 on first pass. Started Futur closed up all the way. Was still more aggressive than my others. Got BBS with both with 3 pass shave. Slight burning with Futur and less with Gillette. Effect was like my 6c. Gillette and Future adjustable on the fly but slower adjust with 6c. All fine shave. Thanks for the video. Good job.
I would think it would be much easier to completely clean all of the Rockwell 6C because it’s a three-piece razor and you could get to every area of the razor.
Hi Alex! I follow your reviews with great interest. I discovered how pleasant shaving is. I like it very much and I made it a passion, it relaxes me and gives me a state of gratitude when I have a well-groomed face. It reminds me of my grandfather who used a Dovo straight razor. Nice video, Alex! I've watched a couple of your videos and just subscribed. I like your editing/production, and your sense of humor. I have the 6c and love it! I usually use plate 3 or 4 on a daily shave, and plate 5 on 2+ days of growth. In the beginning, I was switching plates, but got tired of switching them out during the shave. Have you tried a shave with sticking with only one plate? To satisfy my curiosity of changing settings during a shave, I have a Progress on order to experiment with soon. From what i saw in your video i think futur is for aggressive and experience savers...And the 2c is perfect for often save and new users in the classic save. I prefer 2c, and it looks beautiful too!
Great comparison video Alex! I don’t have the Rockwell, but I have the Futur and knew that would be the winner! Yes very aggressive, never used it pass setting 3, for the most part I use it on setting 1 and dial it up for trouble spots. You have to try the Parker Variant and Compare it to the Merkur progress:)

Great job on the video . it was really nice you used the voskhod with both of them like I mentioned in our last conversation . I love the 6c but I find myself using the model T because it's easier to adjust. For the past few weeks I've been testing the merkur 510 long handle progress and seeing if I like it more than my model T. I've found even the astra super platinums work well in them both but the voskhod is my favourite. What are some of your favorite blades? I've even had a good shaves from the rockwell blades. How do you like the voskhod?

both are great , rockwell 6 and T1 are very smooth , just as future in level 2 till 3, but also the futur copies are great , did you already tested the futur copy with magnetic top plate ( river lake ), very nice , the only one able to shave under the nose.

You’re crazy to use the 6 on futur 😂 I find 3 or 4 to be my sweet spot.

Rockwell thinner- top to bottom. Gets a bit closer under nose, but by much. I like both.
