    I think part of the problem with these tests is they start the test when the car starts to move (0-60). The purpose of these products is primarily to decrease the amount of time in between pushing the gas pedal and the car moving. So a more accurate test, although more difficult to measure, would be the time it takes to go from your foot touching the gas pedal - 60mph. This would be more clear at an actual drag strip when you have to go when a light turns green. Because you would lose a fraction of a second waiting for the car to react without the controller.
    The reason I need one of these is not to go faster. But to get rid of the throttle lag. When I stab the gas on my truck it takes a crazy amount of time before the truck begins to move. Which is annoying when you are stabbing the gas to avoid another vehicle coming up behind you while merging into traffic. For me its all about SAFETY.

    Hi, very informative, advanced, and complete information regarding the throttle controller, thank you, but I have a question I hope the admin or Karz Kreated can answer regarding safety issues, My question is what if the throttle controller's device suddenly fails? or the little wire cut? Do we still have the control of gas pedal? or it will be back to normal mode? Thank you for hoping Karz Kreated can enlighten us. thank you again!

    • @KarzKreated
      @KarzKreated  2 года назад +3

      I was unsure about the answer to your question since I never had anything like that happen. So I went out to the car, turned it on and unplugged that wire from the controller and the car worked just fine. It must bypass everything when there's no signal from that wire. So hopefully that helps! ✌️😎

    I have the JMS Boostmax and Pedalmax on my 2017 SHO. The Boostmax does add a significant amount of boost that wakes the car up with out doing a tune. I can turn it off and the dealer was non the wiser. The Pedalmax doesn't add power but gives you the power you have instantly. I can dial in as much or as little that I want. Normally I run it around 65-70 percent for regular daily driving and 100 percent when I am playing around. The throttle is very sensitive at 100 and can cause the vehicle to become a bit uncivilized with regular city driving. You have to be very smooth and feather the throttle. I absolutely love my combination and don't feel the need for a tune. I need to make a few timed runs to see if there is a difference. On an unboosted engine, the Pedalmax is also great. I ran the Pedalmax on my wifes 2017 Ford Edge 3.5 and it made the vehicle launch much better.

      Check the cable that goes from the connector to the screen. Make sure the connections are seated tightly, and check the the wires on the harness. I had a problem with my controller and cause all kinds of problems with how my car drove. It ended up being one of the wires in the connector that pulled out of the connector slightly. So that wire wasn't making a full connection.

    • @KarzKreated
      @KarzKreated  3 года назад

      I thought it was the Knock Sensors at one point, then I replaced the Fuel Pump Module because fuel pressure was a bit weird. After that didn't work I put a fresh set of plugs in which didn't fix it. It seems to be false knock. It does it whenever it wants to. Not sure how much the tune contributes to these issues.

    It makes a positive difference down low then up high it losses power and the 0-60 is usually the same and sometimes slower.Ive had one in 4 different cars and thats what happens even the manufacturer admitted that

    If you asked me, I’d say it’s well worth it because you already pay a couple hundred a month for the car payment & insurance payment (if you have monthly payments) then another 1 time payment of $100-$200 to get rid of the spongey feeling in the pedal seems well worth it to me. I found a reputable company who sells theirs for $100 and they customize them to your specific vehicle. Best $100 I’ve spent in a while. I have instant throttle response now. Acceleration was a bit scary the first day I had it installed, that’s how good it works in my opinion

    It seems like the controller knocked off a tenth from your 60ft as well. Was your best 60ft with the P1 or P2/P3?
    I have a tuned MKS that normally does a 1.94 60ft so even if this helped me get into the low 1.8s it would be beneficial

    Bought one just like the mass Chinese crap one you have but with the 'Roar pedal ' name . Worked great for maybe a year. Then got misfire codes , and it was causing problems with the throttle body. I disconnected it and my car ran better in about a half hour. Anyway , they work. But invest in the better brands. Not the mass Chinese made crap.

    • @GE0RGEC0NSTANZA
      @GE0RGEC0NSTANZA 2 года назад +2

      bs. something is wrong with your car itself. the cheap chinese brands just puts more voltage to the throttle body. same as a pedal commander but for 50 bucks vs 300. if you had that problem with the chinese brand your car would have had the same issue with a sprintbooster or pedal commander. the missfire codes are prob from you over reving your engine and needing new plugs

      These don't add anything 0-60. But they DO remove the delay between when you hit the gas and when the vehicle beings to move. This equates to reaction time on the track. Which is one of the most important variables to address when racing a vehicle.

      @@richarcm Unless you smash the pedal in as fast as possible, there won't be any difference right?

    • @richarcm
      @richarcm 2 месяца назад +1

      @@davoroxi The problem is that the modern vehicle uses an electronic throttle vs a mechanical throttle cable that used to be used. The electronic throttles have a delay built into them when you hit the gas which acts as a traction control to avoid sudden wheel spin. The problem is that that delay is not always ideal. Certainly not when racing. But in my case it is dangerous. There have been many times while driving where I needed to hit the gas and GO. And when I did there was a delay before my vehicle took off. It’s kind of scary.
      That being said the device I bought similar to this did not adequately address that specific delay. I was a little disappointed. To do what I need for it to do I may be stuck having to get a tune.
