Distributive Property with Exponents

How do you use the distributive property when you have exponents involved. For example, how do you simplify 2x^2( 4x + 7) ??
The distributive property simply means you multiply what is on the outside of the parenthesis times what is on the inside.
It equals A( B + C ) = AB + AC
