Are you sure you're doing a screen recording? Use the back button+record button at the same time to start a screen recording. This will record audio from the mic and the same video feed as you see on the screen.
Great video! I was wondering where is your distance to home displayed on your screen. I see your height but not your distance. Or do you keep that feature turned off so the self righteous, self appointed internet drone police don't bother you?
What props are you using? I got a 3T a couple of weeks ago and I have spooked some deer. I changed to some low-noise propellers and it seems to help but the deer always are looking for my drone because they can hear it.
Well the M3T does make more noise than I’d like, just try to slow down your approach, smoothly decel to a stop. I’ve found it’s not so much the hover or cruising noise level as much as it is the harsh sharp “angry” bursts of sound from sudden inputs or sharp acceleration/deceleration.
Got very close to these deer and they didn’t seem to care much.

I am getting ready to purchase a DJI thermal drone. I am considering the Mavic3T. Have you ever wished you had a Matrice 30T? Do you feel the Mavic 3T meets all of your expectations?
Hey man, great question. Yes, of course I'd love a Matrice 30T. But since I was just starting out, I wanted to start with the Mavic 3T. I compared the two models on paper and didn't see anything that prevented quality work using the Mavic 3T. The Matrice 30T features are not deal breakers, but they can add efficiency to the workflow and save time. And the cost is the primary prohibitive factor between the two. I have a powerpoint-style Mavic 3T versus Matrice 30T video I've been thinking about doing. Still working on all the points of discussion but sounds like there is interest in that.
@@STRThermal Thank you. I agree with your assessment. I am leaning toward the 3T due to the cost but I don’t want to be dissatisfied with the zoom at night .

Yeah the 7X+ requirement can be annoying. But for a dead deer or a static Search and Rescue target it's no problem.

Im looking at getting one for hogs in sugar cane. Cane is abit thicker then corn i guess so it might be a waste of money.
I would probably need to be flying at 150m at a guess to get good target i.d.

Are you sure it was the drone and not the conditions, settings? Good luck with it.
@@STRThermal I have other thermo devices and I use them for hunting. I can see a difference between male and female hog at 100 yards. With this drone I canc say if there is hog or deer.
Yeah, something is wrong. I have found some people had issues because some of their settings were off. If you get it back, and it's the same condition, watch my camera settings video and make sure you have the basics correct. Also, make sure the isotherms are turned off. And reach out if you need help.
