People forget Singleton walked a lot this year after that one big game he had. Didn’t hit much but got on base sometimes that’s all you need in this situation

Yup, a couple of guys who were buried on the bench all during the playoffs, but when their number was called they were ready and came up big in TRUE ASTRO FASHION. It's too bad so many people hate the 'Stros, but I reckon it's mainly out of jealousy.
Woke up at 4 AM here in Vietnam for this game. Absolutely no regrets. One of the best games I've ever seen. Clutch from the bench and Altuve brings his 9th inning magic. Go Astros!

I have said this before, but they need to put some respeck on Chili's name.
That big play by Kessinger, might have been the game saving play. He misses that and the bases are loaded and possibly the runner on 2nd might have scored.
Please take into consideration the home run Altuve hit and the crowd’s reaction. Remember this is not Minute Maid Park. Astros fans showed up and showed out at the Ranger’s stadium. We we 40 percent of the crowd!
Altuve is just clutch man. One the best postseason performers ever. Pressly came in and shut it down, and for 2 innings? Dude has to have ice in his veins cuz my heart was racing outside of my chest.

The score ended 5-4. The series is 3-2. The Astros need 1 more win to go to the World Series. I hope they win this Sunday. What a beautiful win honestly Altuve came through on the last inning when we most needed it. He’s a badass🐐 let’s fucking go Astros🤘🏼💯😤🔥

They can boo him they can talk bad about about him but how many times has he broke the heart of opponents. Smallest man on the field has hit 26 playoff home runs second all time. These teams haven’t liked each other for a while and plenty more to go before this series ends. Houston hasn’t played well at home all year so it’s time for them to win one for the hometown fans and move on.
He's also the all time leader in go ahead homers in the 9th inning or later with 3. Yeah lil dude plays massive!

That plus all the damn balls called strike for the Rangers was ridiculous, the umps did everything they possibly could to make up lose. We beat the Rangers and the umps last night!

Dusty probably trusted JV too much and it ended up with a HR, but then he was brilliant pinch hitting for Peña AND Maldonado, and it paid off MASSIVE. Not a perfect game this time from Dusty....but a great one.
Lol I'm not a dusty hater but he was tossed out of the game when those pinch hitters came up in the ninth. He probably would of done the same thing but whoever took over after he got kicked out made those decisions

@jlobiafra tbh I was working tonight so I guess I missed it, but I thought I saw Dusty got to stay in the game. Someone said he got ejected but then someone else said he didn't. And since I saw him in the dugout after all that, I assumed he didn't. But if he did, I assume Joe Espada took over, in which case he would absolutely get credit for the 9th inning moves.
@jlobiafra I'd also think that since the top of the 9th was coming up next, it was likely discussed what the plan was before Dusty left.

the ump finally got caught up on his make up calls for the 8th and 9th. was dead on from there on.
Close; but the MLB wants these games close so 9th inning go ahead/walkoff wins increase ratings. Games are somewhat tampered with. Not much they can do except make the umps act like they did tonight and even then the astros still won.

That umpire did all he could to cheat for the Rangers with his strike and ball calls! I counted over a dozen strike calls that he made against the Astros hitters that were actually out of the strike zone and over a dozen ball calls on the Rangers hitters that were pitches that located inside the strike zone! What a goddang cheating umpire that is! This kind of cheating by an official of the game should not be allowed in baseball or any sports! But even with that sort of cheating by a corrupt ump the Astros won't be denied, baby! The Astros will beat the Rangers even with the cheating umpires cheating against them! Go Astros! Beat those Rangers' a$$es! 💪🎖👍

MLB had to intervene in order to keep the rangers within striking distance otherwise it probably would have been like game 4
If we have an obvious strike zone and everyone on TV can see it, why even have an umpire calling it at the plate??? No need for it. But the one thing the MLB me can do to control the outcome of the game is by having an umpire calling behind the plate. It needs to be changed.

Rangers Garcia was playing way over emotions, look at his home run, he looked like he was on drugs, but it was emotions that is what led to the home plate scuffle, you cannot do that, you have to keep cool, he lost it, lack of playoff experience did that to him
