NEW VIDEO ►►► goo.gl/rhM6Pw
I'm 63, a New Mexico native, and the area from Texas to California - though vast - is what I think of as my corner of the Earth. Have seen these sights many times through the decades. There are still a few places where the old Route 66 is driveable. The times have changed, and the romance and ambiance of the road as well. Thankfully the natural beauty of the scenery remains.
Absolutely! What a wonderful corner of the Earth to call home! :) I love your area! All the best and enjoy your Thanksgiving weekend!
I did a lot of travelling in and between Utah, Nevada, Arizona & California.
Just love the deserts and canyons.
I recognize a lot of places. So cool !
I love that region as well, and also did a lot of road trips there... I wish I had started filming years ago! haha
Very interesting road trip video. Thanks for the trip down there with you in the video to see the Hoover Dam, the meteorite crater, etc.
pathfinder54321 My pleasure! It’s so cool to discover great roadside attractions! 😊😊
Thanks for sharing I am from Texas and we have an up coming road trip to Las Vegas to spend New Year. This video help me to a fun route to go through!!!
That's great to hear! Hope you have a wonderful time and enjoy the road!
a friend of mine and myself did a road trip on our motorcycles over part of 66 many years ago and yes.......... we got our kicks on route 66.
How awesome! I have a friend planning to do the same! Enjoy your weekend! :)
Hey, thanks for your replay and hope your friend has as good a time as we did. You also make it a nice and great weekend.
Thank you! :)
Growing up in the 660's and 70's meant we had the best of music... the Eagles played a big part and standing on a corner in Winslow AZ is part of my DNA it seems ... great job showing my current neck of the woods!
too bad you left out my current hometown of Kingman, AZ I'll be moving to the big island of Hawaii next year so will have new roads to explore!
Thank you so much!!! I absolutely agree with you... You had the best of music in the 70's! :) All the best!
I drove by Kingman too... And will probably go back one day, as we love Arizona... What would you recommend me to feature there? Enjoy Hawaii, that's still a dream place for me! :)
well keep in touch and you'll have a place to stay if you'd like on the big island after I get my house built there... In Kingman, there's the Rte 66 powerhouse museum, the downtown area with the Chillin' on Beale Street Car Shows the 3rd Saturday each month from May through Sept... be sure to check out the towns of Seligman on Rte 66 one hour east of Kingman ...and Oatman an hour west of Kingman... There's the Grand Canyon Caverns that are well worth a visit too just outside of Peach Springs. My contact info is in my profile on facebook
Wow! Thanks for the great information and the kind offer! That's so nice of you!
I liked both the videos from Tx to Las Vegas. Thank you for uploading.
+Ankit Vyas That's great! Thank you very much for letting me know! :)
Well done, Renata!
Thank you so much! That's so kind of you! :)
I loved my Route 66 trip. You video captures the correct spirit. It was all too much seeing it for the first time. I would do it all again and try to video with preconceived knowledge of what I find. My tour concentrated on the diners and motels. The Arizona stretch is so rich in discoveries; Tucumcari (Blue Swallow Motel), Albuqueque, Holbrook (Wigwam Motel & dinosaurs), Winslow, Flagstaff and Seligman (Angel Delgadillo himself). The motel at Seligman was offered to me for sale. I was tempted but eventually the head ruled and I was told not to go for it. Thank you Renata.
Thanks a lot for coming over and thanks for your comment! Yes, I tried to capture the spirit although this trip was really fast. Next time I'd like to do more like yours, discovering these little gems along the way! All the best!
At 7:44. You passed the Chevron gas station here in Flagstaff.. blocks from where i live. Gas at the Chevron is now, $4.99. just to let you know, just saw the part one looking forward of watching your end trip to lv.
Oh wow! Out of curiosity I had to go check the price during that trip and the difference is shocking! 😮 But Flagstaff is such a lovely city 😍! Thanks for watching, hope I did justice to this area. This was my second vlog ever, when I didn’t know much of what I was doing 🙈🙈
Great video. Thanks for letting me know it is here.
My pleasure! Thank you so much for stopping by. I'm really glad you like it! :)

nice videos .......will definitely go on a long road trip. between states. usually mines are between cities in the same state not more than a three hour drive.
+pmarshall2006 It is very worth it! It's cool to see how the landscape changes, people's accents, road side attractions, etc. I love it!
+Renata Pereira Thanks for putting the idea in my thoughts. It's a definite to do for me now. keep posting. I am a subscriber now.
Thank you very much!
Thank you so much!
I enjoyed the journey from Albuquerque to Las Vegas... and of course sang a few bars of "Take it Easy" when you were showing Winslow, AZ! Now all we need is the vlog of what all you saw and experienced in Las Vegas (and don't try the old "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" routine. hahaha!). I guess I have to wait to see what went on in Ontario first.
+EEN63 Yeah... I ended up going to Canada shortly after this trip and edited the Canada videos before the Las Vegas videos... go figure! But Las Vegas is already up on the channel now. Thank you very much for your interest!
Great Vid Renata, professional filming, you are underrated....
Thank you so much!! 😊
@@RenataPereiraTV love the route 66, love your vlogs, i think, there are 7 dumbass haters, nevermind, only one thing: at the crater, you have some windnoise in the micro, i shame myself, we made a vid of my daughters wedding, and had the gopro on stativ in the woods, and by every said word we had heavy windnoise, so we couldnt understand any word.....and while filming we didnt hear the wind....you have only low noises....did you protect your mic?
Nice Video. I don't know how many thousands of people have stopped and stood next to my sculpture and had a picture taken or made a video. Very few name me as the artist.
Wow! What an honor to have you here! And sorry I didn't realize that... I included the information in the blog post that goes along with this video: renatapereira.tv/item/road-trip-from-texas-to-las-vegas-day2/ - You can find it in the "Winslow" section on that page. Thank you very much for getting in touch! :)

You are referring to the one similar between San Diego and Los Angeles? No, none at all.
@@RenataPereiraTV thank you.
We are making a trip to Las Vegas, but some of my buddy's have there permits expired so we didn't now if they were any or probably just take another route if they were any .
