6:59 Yessss. As a 28 year old, who grew up watching Shining Time Station and seeing the original steam team and hearing the song gave me goosebumps. Awesome work.
Honestly my man you are brilliant! You really have an amazing layout! You really have done well making it as British as it can be with the odd twist of American vehicles also. I love your little Trevor, and Vicar in the Church yard. That really made me smile. The Island of Sodor really is alive. I hope one day i can build my own. I grew up with Thomas, and even now at 26 i still fall in love with the characters that helped solidify the foundation of my life, and childhood. Sending love, and a subscription also.
Actually inspiring the amount of love put into your layout. Love all the little nods and references. Hoping to make a layout of the Little Western Branch someday.
Your layout may not be the most accurate, but damn if I don't love all the little details and references you've packed into it, it gives the whole layout a charm to it. P.S. you're over 3K subscribers now, congrats mate!
Your layout is fantastic and truly inspirational. It really goes to show what happens when one puts a lot of hard work into something and how it really pays off. I've also enjoyed every episode of Thomas and the Railtours and I look forward to the second season coming up. I also really love the Doctor Who nod - it really made me smile :D A truly fantastic layout once again and keep up the good work :)
Dude.. YOUR INSPIRING THE HECK OUT OF ME!! Edit: coming back to this comment a year later, i just wanted to point out Mr. Weasleys ford up there XD 6:24
I was gonna say that station looked an awful lot like Goathland. I totally forgot they filmed Harry potter there. Nice to see there's a set for it. One of my favourite stations as there's a nice hill opposite the platform where you can sit and get a great view of the trains coming round the bend into the station
I have no end of IRTL Thomas vehicles from when I was small in a box somewhere. I'd always wanted to incorporate them into a railway build. So cool to see what you've done
Hello, I just want to say, WOW!!! You did a swell job making this!!! Also, I love the scenery with the fields, trees and town areas. You did a great job on everything about the layout from the cameos, details, references to the TV Series and other series. The parts of the layout I REALLY love are: 0:48 to 1:00. 1:02 to 1:27. 1:28 to 2:27. 2:59 to 3:29. 3:30 to 3:56. 3:57 to 4:28. 4:29 to 5:41. 4:58 to 6:58. 6:59 to 8:01. With all their detail, layouts, buildings, references, cameos and designs. With the pub where FAB I is, I did have an idea you could try. Maybe the Pub could be changed into the Whistle Stop Inn which is a railway themed restaurant that was featured in the movie "Thunderbird 6". I mean, it's your choice. Also, LOVE how you turned a fishbowl decoration into a castle. :D LOVE IT. Anyway, I did have a few questions relating to both the layout and your works. 1: For the other station, is that meant to be based upon a station from Thomas & Friends and when filming, does it take the role of any station in the TV Series like Dryaw, Maithwaite or Lower Tidmouth? 2: I noticed you have two-different sounding voices. Are you British? 3: How long did it take you to build all of this? 4: Were there any planned concepts for the layout that you decided not to use in favor for how it currently looks now? You know, like "Deleted Scenes"? 5: Since Skarloey and Rheneas were introduced to Bachman, is it possible we'll see anything related to the Narrow Gauge Railway in future? 6: For locations like Gordon's Hill, Henry's Tunnel, Tidmouth Station and the other stations on the Island of Sodor, what parts of the layout do you use to represent them? 7: In the Railtour episode "Gordon's Alive!" I noticed a different layout for the episode. Is that separate to this layout? 8: Out of curiosity, but are you planning any future Railtour episodes involving the 3801 (Australia's Famous Steam Locomotive), Stepney, Boxhill, Golden Arrow or Duchess of Hamilton? 9: I bet this cost a fortune to build? 10: Are you planning on having to use this layout for other projects? Because the way I see it, I see the possibility for a RUclips Series focusing on a series of talking steam engines separate from Thomas & Friends. Anyway, LOVE this layout! KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK!!!
Thank you for your kind words! I really enjoyed building this layout. To answer your questions: 1. It's not really meant to be any specific station, just an "any station" if I need a different location. 2. I'm American, but I put on an English (British) accent for my videos. 3. It took around thirteen years to build it. It laid dormant for a long time in the first several years due to me being busy with school and such, 4. Not really, but it was hard to decide between putting a dockyard, scrapyard, or quarry where the docks are now. 5. Perhaps on a separate layout. 6. Like I said, the Hogsmeade Station is supposed to be an "any station" if I need another location. As far as Gordon's Hill and Henry's Tunnel, I don't have a representation of those locations on the layout. Even though I do have a tunnel, it's just a tunnel. 7. That layout belongs to the model railroad club I belong to. I've filmed there before in other videos, so they don't mind. 8. I have a predetermined list of engines that will be in the Railtours videos, and I like to keep it a secret until the video is set to premier. 9. It did cost a lot to build all this. How much exactly? I never really kept track. lol. 10. Perhaps once I'm done with Railtours, I can use it for something else.
@@SilverBand7 Nice. Oh, and you should take my advice and make the pub into the Whistle Stop Inn from Thunderbird 6 since I figured it would be a great reference. Nice. Thank you for answering my questions and for replying to me. Keep up the awesome work!
It's pretty impressive and I could see a few story ideas especially with the haunted mansion and I do have a few suggestions for a few tiny little add ons to the layout if you want
I just watched and had to subscribe just because of the other pop culture references you put in your build Thunderbirds, tugs,dr who, ghostbusters,Harry Potter absolutely fantastic
Love the layout and your Rail tour series. Brings back childhood memories of watching Thomas and Friends. You should include some American engines in the series such as UP 844 or SP 4449.
Wow, so much to see! I love all the little details. I don’t have the same amount of space but I’m building a smaller branch line roughly based on the railway series and Thomas and friends.
4:09 greatest film that ever will exist 4:18 the ECTO-1A is cool in all, but why are the ECTO-1 and 1A both there, the GHOSTBUSTERS don't need 2 cars, do they?
3:32 that toy mater looks like it’s for mobile game for Disney cars but I can’t find the app,it could’ve been removed. Edit: I have been watching Thomas and friends since childhood

Good Use Of The Disney Cars Characters
Bro Your voice is so Goddamn soothing.

That’s what makes it so perfect for narrating TTTE!
This layout looks so great!
I especially love the small references from the different shows and movies too
5:37 THANK YOU FOR CALLING IT THE UNION FLAG! I see so many people calling it the Union Jack on land, when it’s only called that at sea.
I can't help but get a sense of deja vu every time I see your layout
seriously, your layout is one of if not THE best layouts I've ever seen!
What an incredible layout of Sodor you have. So many familiar character faces and places as far as the eye could see.
Okay. This layout js probably one of the best Thomas layouts I've ever seen. So many hidden treasures and secrets.
Honestly my man you are brilliant! You really have an amazing layout! You really have done well making it as British as it can be with the odd twist of American vehicles also. I love it, you should start a model railroading club that focuses on the layout of Sodor’s Northwestern Railway.
I like how the fat controller is just looming over the haunted manchen.
Actually inspiring the amount of love put into your layout. Love all the little nods and references. Hoping to make a layout of the Little Western Branch someday.
An absolutely impressive layout, I love the amount of detail you’ve added to it! Can’t wait to see future videos!

The tugboat for its size is the most powerful craft afloat.
and the star tugs are the power behind the docks and waterways that make up the big city port.

This is unbelievable! Your set looks awesome
Now I need a story regarding the haunted mansion and some of the lesser seen areas of your layout in
I was gonna say that station looked an awful lot like Goathland. I totally forgot they filmed Harry potter there. Nice to see there's a set for it. One of my favourite stations as there's a nice hill opposite the platform where you can sit and get a great view of the trains coming round the bend into the station
Question: did you make the tugs models that are at the harbour because God damn they look cool
Great to see FAB 1 again.
I love how you make small storys with all of the locations.
I’ve waited so long for this
