the thing is you can be a good actress anywhere, regardless you are in SM or Namoo or YG or JYP because all you need is to pick a good script from a good Director and have good skills. but to be a good solo singer, it takes more than just good singing, you need someone who can write you good songs OR a composer who is willing to sell u songs, for SM at least they have a lot of song writers or they have the budget to buy songs from good composers. hence i find if she become a solo singer, it would be better than an actress because if she become an actress she might end up signing up in a actor agency, like Seohyun or Sooyoung etc.. (i know yoona is still in SM)... but seems most female actress have left SM already..
