- The emerald ash borer is an invasive insect that is killing ash trees as it spreads across the United States. Colleen Kenny, a forester with the Maryland Forest Service, and Paula Shrewsbury, a professor at the University of Maryland, talk about the efforts being used to slow down the emerald ash borer and save ash trees-which have an important role in protecting water quality.

I am currently editing a children's tour video for Balls Falls in Ontario, Canada to be shown virtually instead of their annual live tour due to COVID. Would I be able to include the shot at 1:32-1:42 in the video when the tour guide mentions the Emerald Ash Borer affecting the trees nearby? I would include your channel name in the credits with a special thanks for your trouble and also provide a link if you wish to view it yourself. This is a non profit tour I just think it would be a beautiful addition to the project as I could not capture any footage of the insect myself. Please let me know if you would be okay with this! Thank you very much.
In Asia a big predator for them is the jewelry and embroidery industries. It really looks so much like the jeweled beatle. Could they be collected for that use?
