Currently, quitting THC vaped. Spent three months pretty much daily smoking THC vape everything from unregulated THC in juice bottles to 10/10 cali disposables. I am an ex alcoholic and t total for life and THC quitting has been 1000% worse than alcohol ever was. Have no interest in relapsing whatsoever because this has been awful. Day 1-3 Nothing whatsoever - you think ahhhhh great I am doing okay Wrong. Day 4-8 Extreme Anger, snapping, no appetite at all. Day 8 you think you're okay but then anxiety kicks in. Your ability to problem-solve and cope with even small changes in routine you are fucked. I have lost lots of weight and currently. Sleep has been non-existent. I am approaching two weeks now and this weekend has been dire. Panic attacks, anxiety, dizzy, raised blood pressure to the point my veins in my neck have felt painful. I am taking some time off work because my ability to focus on tasks, not become too anxious has just gone. I am in the UK and today after reading several academic journals and consulting this video I have decided to explore CBD (in vape form) just to ease some of the symptoms; the anxiety has eased a little, but it is really important that I now use this in combination with other things like exercise, eating again, multi vitamins and generally keep a positive mindset. This has been much much much harder than alcohol ever was. To all those who are here because they are going through the same, best of luck. It is hard but my god I never want to go through this again so do not relapse

This is 100 percent true.. I went through hell quitting.. 10 months later some guy at work said he smokes cbd and gave me some.. as soon as I finished what he gave me I got the thc weed immediately
The CBD brand I own is quality and posts test results of all their products. 10 days into quitting weed. I did discover that in the 25mg CBD capsule (dosage I have), it does contain 0.4mg THC. Can I use this or will the small amount of THC wreck my goal of quitting?
Unfortunately, I was not able to wait 2 weeks before touching c b d. The insomnia was potentially life threatening, due to me having to drive and using my mental faculties for work. I do not know why I have gotten extremely bad insomnia from withdraw. What the odd thing is, I don't seem to have any of the other symptoms like depression. Just extremely bad insomnia. I never want to touch marijuana again. I'm done for life. If this is what the withdrawal effects are like.
thinking of give cbd a chance. what strenght should i look at? i am no stranger to thc, in fact there are nothing that works anymore, as soon i am done with one i roll next,a-b repeat 5g day. iam so tired, no fun anymore.
Interesting idea, using cbd to quit thc. Seems like harm reduction. From my experience cbd gives relief without euphoria. Also, in a legal state, you can get full spectrum cbd that has very small amount of thc. Have heard that full spectrum is more effective than isolate. But wonder if that low thc, like 1-2 mg, is enough to trigger thc relapse. Then again I would take like 30 mg thc edibles which gives intense euphoria, so 1 mg thc in full spectrum cbd is negligible amount
Addiction likes to play tricks with our minds thinking that if we micro dose thc then it’s okay and it won’t trigger relapse. First, you’ve already relapsed by doing this. You need to completely detox your body from thc
I call bs on "this stuff is killing it has to potential to kill you "without not explanation of how it kills you when it has helped so many people. At the right amount of thc can help you.

Curious as to if this prolongs the withdrawal window.. giving quitting my second round for a few different reasons, and am not looking forward to the insomnia. Two years ago I quit for 10 months and the first 2-3mo of insomnia was ROUGH. Picked it back up when I felt it was ok and here I am again about to cross that bridge for the second time (15years of use.. light to moderate but DAILY). Wondering if I should get some cbd to combat that insomnia.. any thoughts?

But the insomnia is horrible. Its afecting my mental state. Did cbd help you? How lond did you have insomni? Me on day 35😢
Hi, sorry. Im at that bridge cant handle the insomnia, i just boight some cbd gummies today. Notjing to strong, but i really want to quit smoking. Did anything help you?
I noticed you mentioned delta-8, what’s your opinion on using this while trying to kick weed? I stopped for only about two days and already just feel nauseous and don’t want to eat or do anything. I know you can get delta-8 in the same gummy form as CBD, if you had to choose one, which one would you recommend?
To have this conversation, I have to start with saying that traditional weed is composed of dozens of cannabinoids. THC is only one cannabinoid but it is the most addictive and is included with D8 THC. So theres a pro to tapering with D8, you are stripping your intake of all other cannabinoids. With that said, D8 THC is extremely difficult to quit. Why? Because D8 distillate is 100% THC. Compare this to an organic weed nug, which might only have 22% thc.... so it will help you quit cannabinoids, but it wont help you quit THC. It will probably make your THC addiction worse. THC is the hardest cannabinoid to quit. So I'd say if you go this route you're still going to want to taper off with CBD, CBN, CBG, CBT, e.t.c after a bit of time with only d8. CBN, CBD, CBG, etc. will not stop your THC cravings, it will only help you cope with your THC cravings in your darkest moments. After that, you'll eventually want to quit all cannabinoids. But I will argue CBD, CBN, CBG, etc. is way easier to quit than any form of THC, including d8.
@@jasonb993 so yes you can use cbs product to help stop the use of thc ? as long as used with caution as in this case , taking CBd on day 2 of thc quitting?
I take CBD at night and yes it'll help you calm down a good bit I have to take 30 mg plus it has a little bit of melotonin in it. Doesn't take long to kick in either maybe 20-30 minutes oh and it's gummies btw and I take that much because I've already taken 10 mg before through out the day and it helped the first time but then the rest of the time it didn't so I switched to another brand plus up the dose to only 30 mg per gummy
Should I avoid CBD even if it has a little bit of thc in it like 0-2mg . I found CBD helpful but was worried about the thc amount in it. I was told that little bit of thc is required in CBD oil for it to be effective.
A little thc wont really do much since its only a tiny amount but im guessing its there for the relaxing state maybe not but the thc might show on a test if u take one

I'm just now thinking of quitting I want to get a CDL it's going to be hard for me I have smoked every day/night since 15 and I'm almost 30 now. I want my 30th bday to be a brand new me but mentally I'm having a really hard time quitting. About to get a cbd vape to try to get off thc idk
Did it work?

@joemadden
One week after quitting vaping weed I had a panick attack, I had to go to emergency to get some medications... Never though quitting weed will make me feel like I was quitting cocaine.. uau what a nightmare
@@kayholand_ The fight never ends! Glad you pulled through. Same - had no idea what THC did to the endocannabinoid system that regulates so fucking much! My own endocannabinoid system has begun to return to normal!
@@Andrew170712 Thank you! happy to ear you feel better! Two weeks into quitting and I am also feelling way better. My sleep has incredibly improve, I can now sleep all night without waking up, something I was not able to do for at least one year prior.. My body was really tiered of the drug apparently. Good luck to you!! :)
Is it possible to have CHS without constant throwing up like how its explained? like for some people could it be only nausea?
I just bought some CBD carts and weed today with the lowest THC possible. WIsh me luck guys after 20 years of almost daily smoking im finally ready to quit. I still love weed, but I find it makes me too docile and comfortable with my life when I know I need to get my butt in gear.
A month out, how goes it for you?
@@racecastle I have zero cravings at this point. I think using the CBD completely counteracted the withdraw effects! This is the longest I have been sober since I was a teenager so at this point the mental battle is already won. I dont want to go back to square one!
@@melaninfarmer Awesome to hear!!!!! i'm still battling my way out right now, but getting there! :)
Does the CBD have to be broad spectrum or can it be full spectrum with levels as low as .3% thc? Also, a little confused because you said make sure it’s organic but the one on your page isn’t organic? Thank you for your help!
homegrow organic cbd helped me quit
This is 100 percent true.. I went through hell quitting.. 10 months later some guy at work said he smokes cbd and gave me some.. as soon as I finished what he gave me I got the thc weed immediately
Very well explained, I hope it will help me
It's great to see this... I have healed myself as well. Weedborn oils have helped me a lot.
The CBD brand I own is quality and posts test results of all their products. 10 days into quitting weed. I did discover that in the 25mg CBD capsule (dosage I have), it does contain 0.4mg THC. Can I use this or will the small amount of THC wreck my goal of quitting?
Any answers here?
I have same question. Any update?
Unfortunately, I was not able to wait 2 weeks before touching c b d. The insomnia was potentially life threatening, due to me having to drive and using my mental faculties for work. I do not know why I have gotten extremely bad insomnia from withdraw. What the odd thing is, I don't seem to have any of the other symptoms like depression. Just extremely bad insomnia. I never want to touch marijuana again. I'm done for life. If this is what the withdrawal effects are like.
Cbd seemed to eliminate thc withdrawal symptoms for me.... but did not help me get off thc....
Fantastic episode
thinking of give cbd a chance. what strenght should i look at? i am no stranger to thc, in fact there are nothing that works anymore, as soon i am done with one i roll next,a-b repeat 5g day. iam so tired, no fun anymore.
Nah there’s studies that came out that said 400-800 mg to alleviate withdrawal
Thank you I’m at 90days and the
Migraines sucks man
I’m tempted to try CBD but I don’t want to just trade one addiction for another
You can still get a $75k+ job with one of those addictions🤣the other one not so much
Interesting idea, using cbd to quit thc.
What dosage of c b d should I take if I weigh two hundred and fifty pounds. And what would be the best route. Edibles or liquids. Thank you very much.
I call bs on "this stuff is killing it has to potential to kill you "without not explanation of how it kills you when it has helped so many people. At the right amount of thc can help you.
What about buying from a hemp store not a gas station
I disagree with everything you said. I am also a doctor and my dad works for nintendo
Good for you and your dad.
PLEASE answer me if it’s safe to use cbd with .03% thc after quitting thc and having severe withdrawals
I am reducing cannabis use. I took CBD this morning and vomited.
Sounds like CHS... is possible please watch my videos on cannabin0id hyperemesis syndrome
I get nauseous when I quit weed after years of chronic use.
@@remysolar9407Same, I just recently quit smoking weed and that nauseous feeling just won’t go away. I’m going to try making homemade lemonade to help with the symptoms.
Are you taking CBD yourself for long term withdrawals or have you come off everything now?
Curious as to if this prolongs the withdrawal window.. giving quitting my second round for a few different reasons, and am not looking forward to the insomnia. Two years ago I quit for 10 months and the first 2-3mo of insomnia was ROUGH. Picked it back up when I felt it was ok and here I am again about to cross that bridge for the second time (15years of use.. light to moderate but DAILY).
Wondering if I should get some cbd to combat that insomnia.. any thoughts?
How did the cbd work for you. I just bought some cbd gummies ive been smoking for 6 to 7 years only at night to sleep. Stopped cuz kids getting older, and im 49 and felt it was time.
@junior4984 hey, did the cbd gummies work to help sleep? And are you still on them or did u quit the gummies?
Nice
I also find cbd can make thc hunger go away
But funny that this guy looks totaly doped up
What if the oil still has a small percentage of THC that’s the only way I found it today
Subscribed x
I’m withdrawing from delta 8 now, trust me, it’s not worth it.
It saved me.
thanks bro
Should I avoid CBD even if it has a little bit of thc in it like 0-2mg . I found CBD helpful but was worried about the thc amount in it. I was told that little bit of thc is required in CBD oil for it to be effective.
A little thc wont really do much since its only a tiny amount but im guessing its there for the relaxing state maybe not but the thc might show on a test if u take one
@@napinz3481 i assume you’d be good because if your body Is so used to say 30mg per week and now it’s only getting 1-2mg a week, I assume your body will ween off on its own.
Did you just say weed was killing me?
Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome
Mann i cant even make it 3 full days bc i have been crippled by my withdraw anxiety and so ima make it as long as i can b4 i get a little crazy again but ill just take a tiny bit at a long enough period
The first 10 days are the hardest you get through those 10 days and you should be golden…it’s all mental brother best of luck
Mack's me feal a bit sick is it coz I use a lot of thc
Does CBD help Phychosis?
Ask your doctor.
Isnt cbd the same thing
What's your experience with CBD for pain relief? Like artroses and fybromialgia.
I have fibro and cbd makes me able bodied but without it I can not function
6 mg of CBD Isolate does the trick
@@throttlerecon Yes sir! Get the CBD Isolate
What’s isolate?
I think CBD make me crave weed
If they quit and then start again. Is it because they quit didn't work. Or is it because they wanted to start again for some reason or anther ?
It's because addiction is characterized by relapse
Ive quit weed today and antidepressants just over a month ago, i get my cbd delivered tomorrow so im gonna use it for a month then taper of the cbd after that. I cant wait to be 100% free from substances, its a long asss road 🫠
❤️🔥❤️🔥
Cbdmd gummies 👌
me watching with CHS :( lmfao
Did not help me. Opposite....make it worst
Thanks bro
