So glad I came across this particular video as it seems the only doubles you can get is in Grenville and it's sold out by 11am! So knowing there is somewhere else fills my heart with joy. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful! 😃
I'm a Grenadian national residing in Toronto, the only place I 've had doubles.I first ate the latter downtown Toronto, then I later found a Guyanese store near me that sold them every Thursday.Boy were they delicious!
Growing up in Grenada in the 80's , doubles and bust up shot was'nt foods I was familiar with, but roti was a staple. The best way for me to describe bust up shot is that it is roti without the split peas stuffing.
Thanks for sharing another great video with us; it was short and sweet! And Market Hill looks vibrant and beautiful with the bright colours.
Doubles is so tasty as either a snack or, if I want it for lunch, I buy two with salad on the side. I need to try the buss up shot next. I never even heard of it until I did this recording. Glad you liked the video, yes the bright colours really lifts your spirit when walking around town.
It is a parata roti, as opposed to a dhal pouri. Bus up shot is also very huge, but very soft and melt in your mouth. Mouthwatering! Are they on line? for orders and hours of operation.
I love buss up shots... definitely gonna check out this place next time I’m home.
You should! Thanks for watching!
Mango, no tamarind for me. I would powerwash those stairs. Lovely view! Oh doubles, my favorite! Will be a customer soon.
I would like to see them make a real feature of those stairs. Thanks for watching!
Added this place on my list to visit when I go!
Foodies will be opening in a new location soon, follow them on Facebook facebook.com/photo?fbid=943626664474964&set=a.462910272546608
Yummy!!! Doubles looks so fresh and 😋 tasty... Made me hungry!!! Thanks for sharing ...
My pleasure 😊 And it very yummy. Seasons Greetings 🎅 🎄🌺
Lovely Video, I have been to Grenada many times over the last 30 years, it's so lovely to be able to revisit Grenada again even though its virtually. Thankyou for your informative and interesting videos, so many new places and experiences to discover on my next visit to Grenada
Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, lots to do see and eat in Grenada!
Grenada really love the yellow colour. Eating your doubles on those stairs look so relaxing and the old man walking down was lovely. 03:48-03:54 "I can hear you, I'm trying to record" 😂😂😂 British assertiveness and the little laugh at the end cracked me up 😂
Yellow always looks good in the Caribbean. And this person was at a window talking loud on their phone and they could see me recording 😂
@@krissmgvlogs perhaps the person wanted to be interviewed 😂
I love that beautiful yellow also.
Awesome ! I wanted to try the doubles . I always pass and never stop I’m... I’ll definitely check them out now .
Yes try, you will love it!
This is sooooooooo amazing. ❤🤗😊 thank you so very much. We look forward to seeing you soon.
My pleasure!😄
Gotta try Chuckies roti (buy the bus station in town) and doubles from Wall street from the Guyanese ladie ( gotta get there early) yum yum. But I'm gonna try this place when we can get back.
I will be making my way around Grenada, one eat at a time 😂😋
No place in Grenada have better Roti than chucky.
🔥🔥🔥
Your looking fabulous!
Keep the informative videos coming👍
Thank you! Will do! 🎅🎄
I will look for that place when I come home thank you 🙏,
Please do! Thanks for watching!
It's interesting how countries in the same continent share similar foods and of course culture guyanese and Trinidadians eat doubles and roti as well
If you find Doubles in Grenada usually its a Trinidadian making it. Its not a Grenadian food although I am sure there are some Grenadians who make it. The Foodies business in this vlog, the business owner is from Trinidad.
Trust me, they got it from Trinidad...
Are you from London I love what u do always lots of info...
Yes, a Londoner of Grenadian parentage. Glad you enjoyed. Seasons Greetings🎅 🎄🌺
So nice, thanks for sharing ❤️
My pleasure 😊
Thank you Ms. Kriss for the insight now I feel more hungrier and home sick 🤣🤣🤣
Hey Ms. Kriss is there any other way to contact you🤔
Glad you enjoyed. You can message me on Instagram.
Kris what's in the doubles? I have food allergies so I am always careful of what I eat
It's Trinidad and Tobago staple street food you must have. Super delicious made the dough is called a bara and thats served with an amazing chick pea curry, tambran, shadobini, and hot sauce cucumber chutney. You choose what you would like to have on there 😊
We are now open Monday through Saturday. Lots of cool,
interesting delicious stuff being introduced every day while we're fixing up to place for Foodie's Restaurant & bar. Hope to see you soon 🤗

If I am ever in Grenville we will see 🎅🎄
Why is it called DOUBLES.?? I looks tasty.!!
You notice the two little flat tortilla (bara) i think, it's just cause there's two of them.
It's really good... the filling a chick peas (garbanzo beans) cook up with fresh herbs and spices, you can add home made hot sauce, a cilantro sauce and shredder cucumber to it... it's amazing and her's is the best on the island...
It is 😚 I will answer that question when you visit us😊
It's very tasty!
@@dellisaflavius1538 you need to get the history of doubles from the country of origin Trinidad. It was originally sold as one bara or flatbread until someone asked for a 'double'
God's blessings to you.
Thank you.
