Speed runners often use hacked charms, it doesn't bother me a bit. Clearly AkantoreX has the skills to take advantage of a charm like that, I don't care if he powersaved it or spent 200 hours grinding GQs like a chump or whatever

I've searched for some remixes here on RUclips, but none of what I managed to find sounds like this specific version. I was just watching your...4'32 run of this last week, so I thought it showed up in my Suggested Videos again. Lo and behold, it's an improved run instead, and by such a significant margin to boot. I suppose this begs the question - What other 4U runs do you plan on revisiting? I can see that Charge Blade run against Gravios being one of them.
It's been slowed down by 5%, so that is why it might sound different. I'm currently woking on a finished version of "Advanced CB Training", a Gold Rathian CB Run and probably a 140 Rajang CB Run too. The only runs I care revisiting are my 140 Rajang GS Runs, maybe my (Chaos) Gore CB Runs and my Teo CB Run. The Gravios CB one is fine. It is still the fastest run out there.
I haven't found one run of G Rank Molten Tigrex on RUclips that doesn't have Guard+2 or HG Earplugs. I'm honestly convinced that this monster can't be soloed without at least one defensive skill :(
HGE, Evade+ or Guard+ all just make it safer/enable more opportunities to attack. Of course you can solo him without any of those skills, but you'll lose out on big damage.
@@AkantoreX Do you have any suggestions (not involving specific defensive skills) on how to deal with it's quadruple charge attack? Or triple roar? I use most weapons and I have trouble dealing with those attacks (in it's worst rage mode). I unlocked the quest recently and G Rank Molten Tiggy seems to be an entirely different beast than in High Rank. (I love CB the most so I guess those are the tips I would appreciate the most)

As a sidenote, I only just got to G Crown recently and am only HR 145, so, my best set right now is full Star Knight with either Focus or Weakness Exploit gemmed in (also S+1 obviously). I don't have any good relics and only a few decent talismans.

How do you know how many roars he's going to do? I'm practicing Molten, and my best time is like 10 minutes. The hardest part for me is knowing when I can SAED after a GPing a roar.

MH Alex MH X+R at the monster if they're charging/roaring at you. (Make sure not to do R first cause you directly morph into the axe and you don't get the shield animation). Honestly guard pointing is all about timing the monster's attacks/animations.

Some roars have a pattern, some also have tells, such as one of the inhales being a tadbit longer than normal.
