I think it is not cost effective because after spending 65k to convert our bike to hybrid it will last for 5 years. Because average petrol expenses in bike is around 15k per year not 65k.. as per my knowledge..so If I convert my bike to hybrid I can not recover my money before 4 years.. and as soon as I recover my money it will be time for replacing old battery so I have to spend another 45k. So those who drive more than 100km per day than only it will be beneficial..I appreciate this type of technology but cost to convert is very high. I think it is better to purchase new electric moped from any good company and save money and advantage is that you will have two different vehicle at this cost.. it my opinion so don't take it personally..

A very useful video. I am seeing it in September,2021 when petrol and diesel prices are very high. I think almost all motorcycles,scooters and rickshaws in our Metro cities, should be converted into hybrid vehicles to save on fuel and maintenance cost. One thing is not clear. Have this conversion kits been approved by the Motor Vehicles Department of the States ? How about approval from Vehicle Safety authorities, as the engine's power and structure, braking etc have been modified. The MVD in Kerala are very strict about unapproved modification done to vehicles. They say the modification had to get their approval and changes made in the RC, insurance etc.

And if electric bike gives 20 paisa /km according what he claimed so you are going to reduce your expenditure by 10 times ... The reality is that the smoke left out from the coal which is used to produce electricity is almost equal to the smoke left out from combustion engines. Added to that it produces e waste which is dangerous. Above all they didn't develop these things. They just bought it from Chinese market

@@mangeshagnihotri4241 bro any company manufacturer bike or car you cant modify...there is supreme court correct guidelines is there you registration, insurance, fitness certificate will be different and invalid as all written in it ...you cant even aproch rto for that...i have done just increased cc change in bike now my bike is watested later i sold it someone in village.. electric you are changing concept they made rule to banifit manufacturer....u can do your own electric bike by establish company haha... otherwise nono till law change

It's actually BLDC motor, which needs 3 phase controller and the sine waveform gives better efficiency for this kind of motor.
