Dwarf Jade (Portulacaria afra) Bonsai July 6, '24 Maintenance

This tree gets a new hair cut and I contemplate some future design decisions. I also include before and after pictures for this session at the end of the video. Don't forget to check out the attack of the killer mosquito at the 9:00 mark! LOL

I think you should take off the stovepipe. I really like the tree and the trim you gave it.

Yes, I agree. In person it doesn't look that bad but in the thumbnail picture its just so glaring! The next time I do the maintenance trimming I'll create a new top. Since it has some branching on top I can root it and it will be well on the way to being a nice little mame tree. Bonus!
