I just imagine Julia sitting on a throne...
Julia: "Call me Daddy."
Homunculi: "Uh, what?"
Julia: "You heard me."
To be honest.. Who wouldn't
Im snickering on how canon that is

Actually, the hardest thing to believe about FMA is how literally everyone can draw a perfect circle on any surface out of any writing material EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Ichiyama22 at one point in FMA 2003 Edward draws a perfect circle by scratching it into metal with the point of a screw. In fact the only time a transmutation circle is even remotely lopsided is the final transmutation in Brotherhood.
This legitimately breaks my suspension of disbelief and it bothers me.
probably the first thing they learn in alchemy school.
Edward's automail has a built in transmutation circle setting that automatically draws one.
Hunter Brett except for the fact that once he gets automail he's been through the portal and doesn't need to draw circles.
Well, there are people that can actually draw perfect circles. So that the idea that it is impossible is not really a thing. However, if you imagine how much they would have been doing it (between 5 to 10 times a day during normal days, and between 300 to 500 times a day when training) it should not seem than inconceivable that people can do it.
You know you’re gonna have a good time when it’s Julia’s turn and there’s over 10 minuets left.
Dude i love your profile pic.
The alchemy energy is red because he actually has a philosopher's stone that he uses exclusively to make hotdogs.
More cost-effective than actual ingredients.
"Hey, what are these made of?"
"Trust me, you don't want to know..."
*screams of an entire nation in the distance*
He actually has an alternate stone called the butchers stone. It’s like the philosophers stone but only for meat
Crize Twinzon you need to slaughter thousands of animals and harvest their blood to transmute a Butcher's stone the size of a meatball
NoxWyvern though it can be a problem because it is very tempting to just eat it
You know what I hate?
Once, Alfonse's long head feather thing was pulled off, and he said, "My hair!" and then He just never got it back. He just didn't have it after that.
yeah cause it got ripped off
i think they were buisy after that point.
The Mech Treehouse, Fluffy the Great and Powerful
The wig has been snatched
Oh no. I remember that and then forgot it while watching
What‘s weirder is in the manga, it slowly grows back.
Julia only has two modes either perfect squared jawed men or Eldritch abominations no inbetween
But what if perfect square jawed man that is eldritch abomination
Dr. Eam, anybody?
Also herself
Then her pokemon are both
Little did they know that sturgis was actually a traitor to the government. he rescued ishvalan children by carrying them on his back as he galloped across the battlefield to safety
and turn them into hot dogs
I Live To Fight lol
Not all heroes have hooves,,,
"This guy doesn't have a basic face, I better book it." Hilarious!
i constantly thank the universe for hiromu arakawa. buff dudes, 3 dimensional ladies, rich worldbuilding, riza hawkeye's existence... fullmetal alchemist is so good. i love this episode.
alphonse elric’s existence too
You in an alternate universe Alphonse and Hughes are best boys
I think the taboo of human transmutation refers to bringing back the dead, not affecting living humans. Medical alchemy exists, and that one guy at the beginning of FMAB transmuted the water in people’s bodies.
So I think Sturgis could legally give people more feet.
But didn't Mustang in FMAB lose his eyesight because he turned the living doctor guy into this weird sphere of flesh?
Buretsu no, pride stabbed and killed him and then turned him into that sphere thing
Lmao
human transmutation definitly encompasses more than bringing the dead to life, since ed definitly didn't bring himself to life, when he got them out of gluttony's belly. and he specifically said that he'd be doing human transmutation on himself by deconstructing and then reconstructing himself in the exact same way he was
Sturgis is a horse chimara
I feel like a nostalgia homunculus could have seriously messed with Edward and Alphonse by reminding them of their original home.
Ethanotor Oculus
Or the original anime before they made the horrible movie
+Zakaria I mean inside of the context of the show itself.
That could make a very messed up scene.
Nostalgia exploits the inner demons of the Elric Brothers and other characters until someone with absolutely no regrets goes in and dunks on Nostalgia.
Zakaria Wash your mouth, we do not talk about that movie in this sacred place.
So, here’s some ideas:
•not steampunk, but steam-FUNK
•stuff in new, bad “-punk” styles
•bad legendary RPG weapons
•new My Hero Academia characters
•new Stands (from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure)
Cheesepunk
• solarpunk
• dieselpunk
• cyberpunk
• wafflepunk
• pizzapunk
I never undestood how people in fullmetal alchemist can just easily create perfet circles instantly on the spot in the middle of a life or death fight.
SylenDraws
They have the ability of rearraging matter, so why not circle powers?
P R A C T I C E .
years of circle drawing practice plus lots of tutorials
Every alchemist's library has a whole series of books on smoothly drawing circles. It's the highest barrier to entry.
Alternate version of FMA where everything is the same except everyone has to carry compasses and straightedges around.
I’m sad no one has talked about the “big booty alchemist”, an actual concept from the creator with a concept sketch and everything
you know how the first bit of brotherhood feels really rushed? that's because the original anime covered that, and did a good job, the problem with the original anime is they ran out of manga to adopt, so they decided to do their own thing. so i think the two anime compliment each other really well
Kat Reynolds I was trying to put into words how I felt... I think the story telling in the OG in anime is way better (just watched them back to back, brotherhood first) maybe this is why? Brotherhood crams so much info in such a short time, while the OG is just not true to the manga. I still prefer the OG but this input helps!
the first one did very well in making their own ending like it didnt try too hard yet it came out amazing
Kat Reynolds well it’s also that if you read the manga it’s all out of order and the info comes out very slowly
They didn’t trust that the audience would be willing to be confused for that long. So they basically don’t follow the manga for the first three episodes. At least not as faithfully as they do the rest of series
So that’s the real reason why it seems very strange
I think the biggest issue with the 2003 adaptation is how it lulls in the middle. Like, after they run out of Manga, they employ some really cool ideas and use them well, like how Homunculi are created and how to defeat them, giving Lyra a more expanded role, and stuff like that. In the middle it lulls with some marginally interesting but less well done and ultimately pointless-feeling things, like the love triangle thing involving Lust and who she was when she was alive and Scar. It makes it hard to get to the cool stuff at the end, like finding out why everything is happening and seeing Alphonse get super-powerful for a short time (to put it in spoiler-free terms).
Lord Scribe Hey thanks for the comment! It helps me see how the original may not have been as exciting at such a crucial point. Though for me, I think the payoff is way better. I personally felt little direction (again personally) in terms of what was important or cool in Brotherhood. Again, I felt spread very thin in terms of story. Then the ending just kind of... happened? Epic battles and all, the creatures showed up, people defeated them, done. I know I’m oversimplifying, but that’s how I felt. Whereas the original’s payoff was a satisfying knot to all the loose ends.
These all need to be in their own anime, ESPECIALLY Sturgis Thoroughbred. Someone make that happen... PLEASE
The four-left feet alchemist Hans Armsgone
What about the floating female body alchemist...

"Gluttony breaks the aesthetic theme of the homunculi"
I mean
Envy (in their real form) and Pride kinda do too
Do you mean the evil jellybean, or the evil spaghetti?
I feel maybe they don't have an aesthetic theme then
The drawings were interesting, but the final colored versions are absolutely stunning!!
DwarfInBlues thanks!
Watching this over two years later, and Julia’s new icon is just her FMA OC
In fairness to Edward, the story does treat him as disabled. He really just has a hunk of heavy metal burrowed into his flesh, and it takes him like two years to even be capable of recovering from the surgery and being able to move them properly. When he gets the winter automail, he’s super excited because it’s so much lighter he can move around quickly (like before he lost his arm), and when he’s out in the desert, the metal is hot enough to burn the skin on his back and his stump. Not to mention the constant breakage leaving him vulnerable. When Scar obliterated it to pieces, he was left with nothing but ribcage and shoulder-muscle and found it difficult to even stand himself up to run away.
... it’s actually one of the very few stories to capture the difficulties of being an amputee, even with artificial limbs. Treating it as whining is kind of yikes.
UltimateKyuubiFox i see your point, but I also see the point of robot arms are sick awesome and a lot of people stop thinking past that point
Also, in the manga he suffers from phantom pain.
Rasus Beijaminas that’s metal gear. Wrong metal
Conrad Korbol Edward? Edward! EDWAAAAAAAAAAARD!!
But the phantom pain stuff is real tho
Rasus Beijaminas I know but metal gear phantom pain was a joke and I have to go for the joke
Fullmetal Alchemist Fatherhood... Edward deals with his Alchemically gifted children and or niblings.
"He looked at a horse and said *that's what I want*" ... Well, thank goodness you drew him with pants on then :p
Rennis Tora The massive cock alchemist
My favorite FMA meme I've ever seen (aside from the obvious choice) is the one where it's just powerless monster Envy looking at a picture of Maes Hughes, and the caption says "I can't believe Mike Wazowski killed Markiplier."
Caldwell is married?! ? I keep forgetting these are adults
they do too.
It's easy to.
I keep forgetting I’m an adult.
In my head, I'm still like 13...
@@trod146 actually I think Nathan just turned 30 jacob and julia are still in their mid to late 20s I think
The fans shouted from the rooftops, “HISTORICAL FIGURES AS ANIME CHARACTERS!!”
Both FMA anime adaptions are great but in different ways. The first anime had a distinct art style, an OST that still makes me cry to this day, and absolutely amazing pacing.
They took the time to develop minor characters like Hughes and his family. Even the filler episodes were well written. I liked the darker, grittier tone of the first anime. But, the second half of the show when the writers had to make their own ending is when things started going sour.
Also the anime only characters, or twists they gave to characters that weren't all that interesting, weighed them down. (Rose, Wrath, Tucker, ect.)
Brotherhood has a livelier color palette, the world building is incredible, the new cast of characters bring great chemistry to the screen, and the ending is one of the most satisfying anime endings, period.
But, the first chunk of the story was rushed through. Not to mention it started on a weak first episode. The studio seemed to have an attitude of "Well they've seen this before, no need to waste time here. Watch the original if you want the old version!"
Even though they did adapt the manga very well, there were still some things taken out, dialogue and such, that I wish they had kept. Yoki's introduction was reduced to a passing clip, for example.
The humor and music also wasn't the same level for me. It was still good, but not like the original. Brotherhood's tone was more lighthearted, despite all the horrible things that occur. That's not necessarily a bad thing. I just preferred the more angsty Elric brothers of 2003 I guess. Haha.
If for some reason you haven't seen the original FMA, you really need to. It will depress you, make you laugh, and really.. reflect. There are plot holes that will frustrate you, it is not perfect. You also need to watch the follow up movie for the true conclusion. Brotherhood is closer to perfection with some bumps along the way, but with not as much.. heart.
My reccomended viewing is watch both, in order if you can. Then, take a break from it. Finally go back and watch them as a combo. Mix and match the first episodes in the OG, then when the plotlines overlap, switch to Brotherhood. The visuals and plot differences will be a weird transition, but it's my most favorite viewing of this franchise. :)
YukariKanashii88 i really enjoyed the original series but some parts and characters and dialogue felt...kinda edgy and cringey. And the last parts where they appear in WWI Munich and the whole deal with Rose and Dante felt like the writers were trying too hard...anyway, I prefer the story and worldbuilding of the manga, hence, of Brotherhood. But I do get what you mean, the first episodes were rushed. I kinda understand why they did that though, so I’ll cut em some slack for that.
Yeah I get ya! The edgier dialogue is more of my taste, it's the emo kid within me I guess, but I understand why you don't like it. There are certainly some episodes that have not aged well by anime standards, but for it's time.. it was poignant. There's a reason why the original FMA was so loved by the anime community back in the day, and even now!
And again, when the staff began to write their own ending, the show started losing it's momentum. The plot lines with Rose, Dante, and Tucker all felt rushed, and their motivations didn't make a whole lot of sense in the long run. Though I actually rather liked the direction they went in having parallel worlds connected to our own. Sure, it was weird to introduce literally at the last second, but it was something unexpected and the movie that followed it helped to tie up some of the loose ends of the series. (Kind of haha. )
What I do appreciate about FMA: B is how it followed the wonderfully structured plot of the manga so very well. Every character and their actions had a point in the story, and I LOVE shows that work out like that. I also love the world building, and seeing events like the Ishvalan war fleshed out in more detail than the '03 series.
But again, that weak start is something that I really cannot dismiss so easily. I can understand why it happened, but those early episodes are integral to how Edward grows from horrible situations. The stories of Nina and Hughes for example, really punched me in the gut in the original. Brotherhood let me down on that. How the Elrics performed the taboo in the original also drew me in more than the reboot did. The original FMA was more like a story between the two Elrics and their journey toward redemption and resolution. Brotherhood is more about how their journey touched the lives of everyone they met. That's why even though the shows are the same material, they're so so very different by comparison.
Ahhh I could gush about this show all day but I'll end it here haha.
YukariKanashii88 YES YES YES YES YESSSSS!
YukariKanashii88 for Yoki's passing clip! It actually makes sense. Yoki is forgotten in the story plot, and the anime shows (as a gag) that he was so forgotten, that the scene wasn't even shown.
YukariKanashii88 And I agree! I love the dark angsty plot 2003 gives and I love Brotherhood's world building adventurous, exciting plot! Like Brotherhood focuses on Amestris' destruction so the location expands, even going to Briggs and the real battle is not even over yet! Perfect pack adventure.
Then the 2003 continue to expand in our world. It swings your heart everywhere and the plot was horrific and dark.
The two. Are simply. Wonderful.
You should have a police sketch artist challenge! Someone would have characters set up before hand then would describe them to another person for them to draw and then see how close they get to the original person!
yes please!

It must be
I like ur lil avi! Is it from a manga or did u draw it? Its silly and cute
Leo Velli lol i wish i drew it! it's from the Demon Slayer manga, and it's Muichiro Tokito uwu
You guys should draw your own Dad from Dream Daddy!
Full profile, too!
gil honestly I feel like most of the men Julia draws could be a character from dream daddy
Yes please!
Sapphire Tea
Does this include Gerald the Little Tykes Cozy Coop from their Thomas the Tank Engine video?
Julia's character seems more likes something I'd expect to see in Hellsing Ultimate!
Damn it, i wanted to see julia try to draw envy
ETHAN Franco FMA brotherhood is my favorite anime so I got it all donwn PAT
Julia Lepetit first of all, who is pat second i just imagine envy was what you would draw if you were asked to invent an animal. Like you couldn't figure out what you wanted so you just shoved in literally everything you got spider, horse, lizard, and just a whole buncha people
Exactly, Envy's true form is already a what if Julia drew a homunculus.
Dan Kayur yeah but it would be in a different art style and she might give him bunny ears or a cthulu mouth
Sure but if you gave an infinite number of Julias an infinite number of graphics tablets, each with a copy of photoshop, you would definitely get the original character concept art in return.
Btw I'm the one who requested this episode (my first name has changed since then but my last name is still the same!) and it's been like 3 years but I always think about what a blessing this episode was truly like the absolute euphoria I felt when I got the notification for it was indescribable and every time I rewatch this episode I just get several more shots of serotonin.
Also for those curious my last name is pronounced like may, the month. No one ever gets it right.
You should make original one piece characters with devil fruits.
Love the video!
^
That's a great idea!
Julia's eats the Oh God Why Why Fruit.
All the support - it would be truly wild seeing what they come up with
I like how Julia draws a bunch of Alucard shadow forms to represent aspects of herself. I wouldn't mind this explored in an episode: Drawfee as Hellsing characters.
jesus my fav anime thank you my drawfee boys
Edit: Jacob is that legsi's boyfriend?
"Strong Jawlines have been part of the armstrong family for GENERATIONS!"
You guys need to do more OCs. I like Knock-offs but c'mon the OCs are great.
Name recognition brings in those sweet sweet views and likes not OC do not steal.
Ajichilepep It's still the same name...
So. Who else wants a full series about Nathanial Famous solving hot-dog themed questions. Where the meat comes from, are they sandwiches, hot dogs vs bratwurst...
"what're daddy's powers?" "he can shoot goo"
As much as I love the commentary in these videos(it's a lot), I still can't get over just how freaking talented you all are.
Instead of Steam Punk, can we get some Steam Funk drawings
Frostbit 17 This.
Yes! I will even suggest a name for a character from someone my grandmother actually knew: ZeppelinFunk
So much YYAASSS QUEEN!

Willie is the good ball boy

Thank you for doing this very good episode of drawfee. I was feeling very sad today, and wanted to spend some quiet time thinking, and I put this on to have in the background but t was dry funny and engaging, and I feel happier now because I kept giggling because of your funny jokes and good drawings. I think I’m slowly becoming my cool self evolution, and I will shoot syrup as my goo because it’s useful and everyone likes syrup.
I know I’m using very simple and borderline childish language, but it’s the most directly I feel that I can communicate the sincerity of this message.
I love when Nathan laughs hard because it’s like a chainsaw, where you start it up with a few noises and then it just gets going.
Accurate.
*FULL METAL ALCHEMIST*
_Full Metal Alchemist!_
I read it in the voice
This is genuinely the perfect episode
I love that they unintentionally gave Nathaniel Famous a philosopher's stone and I choose to believe he made his automail with that. And the hot dogs.
Gluttony: "I will bring you to Daddy"
God that's so wrong. On so many levels. XD
Gluttony: the personification of vore
Maika Mikaela no he IS voredom.
Adreus Farrington father must have both a daddy kink and a vore fetish.... remember that time Gluttony vored Ling and Ed before he got vored by Pride so he could help him become stronger and help daddy vore god?
Maika Mikaela you bring a valid point...plus he loves eating live people like the priest
Aw guys, can't the whole crew just draw Cool Evolutions of each other? Like Fan art of each other? Also Coolia Twolia looks so happy. This wholesome content absolutely made my day.
Like I know that you gotta have them trending titles to get them clicks. But just an episode for you guys and the fans... or you could just all draw Willy. If you wanna.
The redesigned homunculus looks like he came off steven universe
did you know that they're making a remake of thundercats? I've been hearing great things about it
Azorok_KL i have indeed heard of it but i don't think the art style is very promising. Its like the switch from og teen titans to go
That was the joke, man: When the new Thundercats reboot was announced, everyone was saying it is "lazy and bad" because it looks like Steven Universe and not like the original, but the Drawfee crew all like the bean style.
B E A N H E A D
ETHAN Franco well there's definitely a bonus to simplified designs, they allow for easier, more fluid and dynamic animation. Still looks dumb tho
Welcome to Night Vale characters you've never seen? That's a drawable thing.
21:00 The reason why Hohenheim has full armor sets in his house is explained in the original 2003 show. Well, not in the show, but in the follow up movie. Everyone dumps on 2003, but it’s still a good watch. :’)
W-why does he have it?
I need to know why, Mason!
I think he collects them because he knew the artist. (Not that I actually know)
Nathaniel Famous looks like he comes straight from Danny Phantom. I love it!
Something about Julia drawing so many eyes makes me happy. I could watch an entire Hour of Julia just making more abominations with many eyes.
I've never seen Julia actually draw something like this.
Only gross muscle men with sharp jaws and big chests.
No this is just the other side of the coin, where Julia draws an Eldritch Abomination.
Ironically enough that would also fit perfectly in this episode as well.
Then u haven’t watched enough drawfee yet (but hopefully u have by now since it’s been 2 years lmao
Please draw your OnePiece OCs, and explain their devil fruit powers if they have any

Envy is best character. No one understands how much I love him. Not only is he best character in FMA/FMAB, he is best anime character period. I will put this everywhere until it is globally accepted.
I totally agree with you. Envy is one of the best characters
Itsjustthatonegirl He's such an interesting character honestly
Itsjustthatonegirl
He can’t beat Wrath The Furious.
Literally Anime Chuck Norris.
To me, Envy might be in the bottom five of the 2003 version, and top 5 in Brotherhood. I just can't enjoy the character after they jumped the shark with him at the end in the 2003 version.
I actually really like the original FMA. I’ve seen both original and brotherhood and like both but I’m still partial to the original. It was darker and I did like that about it.
*full sandwich alchemist*
Draw Boku No Hero Characters based just off of Quirks!!!
What would Nostalgias power be? They all have sort of appropriate powers: Gluttony can eat anything, Envy can transform into others, Wrath can see your weaknesses, Prides real form is that of his immensely powerful (and proud) father, Greed can make a shield (to protect his most valuable asset: himself), Sloth is strong (because he can finish his work quickly??) and Lust has piercing. I said sort of appropriate.
Regeneration? He can get his stuff back
Maybe he's got insane reflexes and intuition, cause time literally moves slower for him, since he's constantly stuck in the past.
It's a bit convoluted, but it's the only thing that comes to mind.
@@someoneawesome8717 they all have regeneration though, so that doesn't really work.
@@Vonias oh yeah, what about like incomplete regeneration, he never gets it back the same and that's all he's really got and that's why nobody likes him
@@someoneawesome8717 wait, that gives me an idea, he regenerates things better than they were. Like someone viewing old stuff with nostalgia goggles on. So if his arm gets cut off, it comes back slightly stronger or with knife fingers or something, and these upgrades just keep stacking. So by the time we see him in the series, he's already highly upgraded.
I can never decide if I watch drawfee for the drawings or the conversations. Also FMAB is an anime treasure, that is all.
Nostalgia is best homunculus
I love being able to tell when Julia just gives up because the cursor stops moving for a solid ten seconds

Full Metal Alchemist is the best anime. ( Brotherhoods ending of course)
I love episode's like these with all my heart.
