Period underwear is a sustainable, reusable period care product designed to absorb blood, be washed and sterilized, then reused. This reduces plastic waste in landfills from disposable products like plastic-based pads and tampons and packaging, and also saves people lots of money by eliminating monthly spending on disposables. The Boody brand ones in particular are superb, soft, stretchy, and perfect for me and others who experience neuroplastic pain or period cramps, because they're so stretchy. gentle, and offer freedom of movement. So, I wanted to make a video review about it to let others know, if they're on the fence about purchasing them 😊
Would LOVE a video about cloth pads! Companies that make them & maybe even the best materials for those of us interested in making our own! Also if you know of any brands making products marketed to boys who bleed, I’d love to find more options for my son☺️
Hey! If you google "Modibodi all gender" or go to the link below, there are some gender neutral selections! Modibodi performs excellently when it comes to absorbancey. Since those styles do not have lace, the lace itch wouldn't/shouldn't be a factor. I cannot speak to the stretchiness of those ones though, the general comfort level, or ability to accommodate growing / changing bodies over the years, like Boody's super stretchy ones will be able to. I think so long as one orders the right Modibodi size and doesn't mind reordering if their size changes, they would be a great option because they're definitely an industry leader in performance / absorbancey ❤ Hope that helps, enjoy!

The human body is beautiful and being able to see it naturally like this video where it is non sexual is really comforting in a way and the modeling segments gave me really strong tingles from the visual asmr. Plus your voiceover is really tingly and informative so this made me almost pass out from tingles lol
I don't know if you have any other clothes you would do this sort of video on but you have at least one person who would love more of this kind of asmr

I hear you! That's how the heavy-overnight Modibodi ones feel to me now. The Boody ones definitely don't have those issues, IMO! Soft, stretchy and breathable, even for the heaviest absorbancey ❤🙌
Interesting! How many pairs of period underwear do you use in one day? Do you change as often as pads? 😊
I'd break it down like this:
Heaviest overnight - postpartum absorbancey pad (the most ever!) paired with period underwear that have a tall back panel, like heavy or heaviest / overnight.
Heavy day - wearing heaviest / heavy absorbancey underwear OR cloth pads with regular cotton underwear, switching the underwear every 4-5 hrs and cloth pads every 3-4.
Medium - heavy underwear worn for 8 hrs, OR cloth pads switched out every 4-5 hrs.
Light - Any absorbancey period underwear all day (8 hrs) OR cloth pad + cotton underwear switched after 6 to 8 hours.
Spotting only - just regular black cotton or bamboo viscose Boody underwear.
Yes, you pretty much switch them as often as pads. I switch some of mine out because many of my collection is already like 8 years old! 😁😮🙌 So they absorb slightly less than when they were brand new. But I would NEVER go back to disposables unless it was an emergency where I didn't have access to my clean pads (washing machine broken, didn't have time to wash them due to unexpected circumstances, started bleeding at work earlier than expected and I only had my backup disposables in my car without access to my reusables, etc).
