    Thanks for the great video. I'm 73 and have just started using castor oil. I hated my arms. My forearms were very crepey and now they're not. My lashes were very spotty and now they have filled in again. I haven't used it long enough to see if my lashes will grow longer but just filled in is great. I'm not sure if anyone has suggested that it reverses grey hair but the outer half of my eyebrows had turned grey so I was colouring them in but now I notice I don't have to do that anymore. I'm now testing it on the one patch of grey hair that I have on my head just for fun to see if anything happens there. I did learn a tip from a comment on another channel that, if you first wash your hair with your conditioner and then shampoo as usual, it's easier to wash the castor oil out of your hair. It does seem to help.

    Hi Liz. You are right. The Castor Oil should be kept in a cool, dry place. And if it doesn't smell right, toss it.
    I use 100% bamboo sheets, and have never had staining.
    And it's great in combination with another body oil or cream.
    It's the last thing I put on my face at night, to seal all other products in.
    Definitely great to rub on the stomach.
    I do have pretty healthy eating habits, but I use sugar (in moderation), but I'll never give up whole grain carbs.
    I don't think I'd put it directly in my eye, but like you, put it on my lids.
    Thanks, Liz. Great tips! ❤❤

    100% Linen is also a natural fiber. It is very breathable and has been used for bandages for thousands of years. Sadly it is often blended with synthetic fibers to make more "affordable" fabrics so be sure to check labels. Hemp and bamboo are also natural fibers just be sure they are 100% and organic is always a good choice.

      Linen gets softer the more you wash and use it. You can also freeze it, kind of like a winter clothesline. Obviously you don't want to damage the fibers but some careful wear-and-tear should help soften the fabric.@@robinsierra1029

Therefore, I try not to wash my hair often, since it makes me cry to see how much haor I shed. Do you think using it maybe twice a week would help? Or should I apply every night and wash my hair every single day. Again, thank you for sharing such valuable information.

    • @StylishandGrateful
      @StylishandGrateful  Месяц назад

      Hi @elsamireles8095, thank you so much for watching and for your kind words! I’m truly sorry to hear about your struggles with hair loss - I know how challenging and emotional that can be.
      For applying castor oil, consistency is key, but there’s no need to wash your hair daily if it causes stress or additional shedding. You might start by applying castor oil twice a week, massaging it gently into your scalp to stimulate blood flow and encourage growth. Leaving it overnight can help maximize its benefits.
      However, since your hair loss is connected to stress and hormonal imbalance, I’d also recommend consulting with a healthcare professional or dermatologist. They can offer additional guidance and may suggest treatments that address the underlying issues, complementing your natural care routine.
      Thank you again for being here and for sharing your journey. Wishing you strength and healthy hair ahead!

    Since when does bamboo have plastic??

    • @StylishandGrateful
      @StylishandGrateful  Месяц назад +4

      To create bamboo rayon or viscose, bamboo pulp is treated with chemicals to break it down into a soft, fabric-like material. While the main fiber is derived from bamboo, the chemical processing can involve plastics or synthetic additives, making the resulting fabric less “natural” than it might seem.
      If you want bamboo sheets with no plastics or synthetic additives, look for those labeled as “100% bamboo linen” or “organic bamboo lyocell,” as these typically involve fewer chemicals and synthetic additives.

    Mixed Castor with coconut oil but the coconut oil is turning the mix gritty when I apply it. I heated it up as recommended but as soon as it solidifies again, it’s greedy when I put it on. I can’t use it straight. I have to mix the castor oil with something else. Any suggestion suggestions? Thank you very much.

    I’m like you when it comes to showing at night and changing into clean pjs. The only thing I noticed when I use castor oil it makes my hair oily, I have long hair. I have even put it up, but still the castor oil gets on the pillow case and then my hair. I do occasionally put castor oil on my head for hair growth and overall health for the hair and scalp. What are some ways to use castor oil every night, but don’t get it on my hair and still sleep comfortably? Thanks

    • @shonashook2497
      @shonashook2497 Месяц назад

      @karch6150 I'm a side sleeper so I twist my hair on top of my head into a bun with a bobby pin or 2, and then slather the oil very generously all over my face, including my eyes, and then wear my face mask from Amazon (has a cutout for eyes, nose, and mouth, and velcroes to the back of my head) for the whole night to bed! For me, it isn't uncomfortable at all, although I'm sure I look crazy!😅 And the price I'm willing to pay to use my CO! 😊

    So basically your water bill is gonna come high if you do start using this daily due to you having to wash your sheets every week and changing your pajamas daily.
    PS: People don't be stupid, she said you can put it on your eyes but she means around the area, don't actually drop castor oil on your literal eyes.

    • @valeriecoopet9897

      I have been using it for a year or so. Nothing has oils stains. I give it a few minutes before dressing and I don’t slather it on. I wash sheets weekly and chang pajamas every few days. It has made a huge difference in my skin. I am 73 and have very few wrinkles. I put it on my face about an hour before bed if I have the time and it seems to be mostly absorbed by my skin. Avocado oil is good and is less viscous and absorbs nicely, too.

    • @StylishandGrateful
      @StylishandGrateful  2 месяца назад +1

      I haven’t changed my washing regime. But for those who don’t wash laundry weekly, yes you will need to do that…or you should, I guess you don’t HAVE to.😊 I do put it on my entire eye area and face, I personally do not drop it into my eyes, but it is slathered on thick.😉

      I guess you are calling me stupid. I have been putting castor oil directly in my eyes before bedtime for almost a year now with no problem. I'm 59. Last December, I was told I had the "very, very beginning of cataracts" by my eye doctor. I read a lot about using castor oil in the eyes for cataracts before trying it. I also started using DMSO eye drops and taking MSM. I cannot believe how clear my vision is now. My distance vision has also improved so much. So from my perspective, you can put it directly in your eyes. In addition to putting a few drops in my eyes at night, I also rub it on my eyelashes and eyebrows every night as well as all around my eyes. My eyebrows are darker and seem to be thicker. I do really notice my eyelashes are longer and fuller. Now that winter is approaching, I will start putting it on my face which I did last winter. My nose had larger pores and blackheads. The blackheads are gone and my pores are much smaller.
      P.S. I don't wash my sheets daily. I sleep with an old towel over my pillow which I change once a week.

      I watch a video like this & see the tremendous amount of time, effort, thought, kindness & generosity that so clearly went into making it, I feel inspired throughout to pause & take notes, I make sure to "like" & save it to multiple playlists & intend on sending it to a few other people who will also benefit from it, I find my bottle of castor oil to check if it's still good, I place it down on my bed to be sure to incorporate it into my pm routine later, I feel a surprising level of excitement at the prospect of 1 day seeing all (or even just a few) of the great benefits explained in vid, I excitedly scroll through the comments w/ pen & notebook in hand to write down whatever useful tips other viewers may have contributed, and I see this.... This RUDE, UNNECESSARY, NASTY hateful remark which was CLEARLY left by a RUDE, NASTY, HATEFUL PERSON. You complain about the video wasting your time?.. Well do you know how DUMB YOU LOOK by spending EVEN MORE TIME typing out this BS comment?? If you don't like something, if your time is so precious, JUST MOVE ON! NOBODY wants to hear from an a$$hole like you because guess what.?... YOU'RE NOT THAT IMPORTANT! To the creator of this video- I am so grateful for this. It's my 1st time seeing anything of your's & im so glad I found you! Thank you for putting so much effort into making this & thank you for so generously sharing your knowledge & experience with us. Please ignore the trolls (like who posted that RUDE comment). They're just jealous & sad people who hate on whomever they can to try to make themselves feel better, regardless of how absurd that is. I loved this video & saved it to almost every one of my playlists☺️ Thank you again🧡
