thanks i never noticed that you can "interact" and always used window capture instead. this is much more convenient. now i have to figure a way to enable interact from the stream direct, and group actions. when source is visible, enable interact too.
edit: just figured a way. using "obs-libre-macros 3.3.0" in tools scripts, then in browser filter, it add a "console" filter, when you can enter this instruction "obs_frontend_open_source_interaction(source)", then in obs settings you find a new hotkey setting to enable interaction. easy! 😂😂😂

You could open multiple instances of OBS or use the Source record plugin. You can find that on the OBS forms from exeldro

This is so helpful! But when I open the "interact" window, my video doesn't play smoothly, it stops and starts. Any idea why? It's in the stream and the interact video.

Here’s how to do it on RUclips first make a scene and to on the plus bottom then tap on browser then don’t tap on file make sure to erase the on the top and then switch it to your RUclips channel by looking on the top on your screen what you want to do is tap on it then press ctrl+c to copy then you want to get back on obs and tap on the top thing again then press ctrl+v to add your channel and then tap ok and your all set to use your browser but the only way you can use it is by taping interact on your pc.
I am not sure what your are trying to explain as your sentance doesn't have any periods in it it's super difficult to folllow. However the browser sources in OBS can work for any streaming service you want as you as you connect your OBS to the streaming service of choice 🙌
Is there a way to record multiple chrome tabs and not just one tab?
I am struggling to do this. I don’t want to use screen recording because I want to be able to record a blank screen on certain other applications.
Yes, add multiple browser sources. If you want them all full screen, you can use the OBS plugin "Source record" to record sources separately.
When i add multiple different browser sources it changes all of them @trui

You should get a link from the extension (probably in the extension settings) you can add that link in the browser source in OBS 👍

Yeah you can probably. There are some website blocking screen record like Netflix. So that would be the only thing preventing it.
sadly no mention of the obs version, latest debian 12 mate has unstable usb camera detection, so stuck on debian 11 with obs 26.1.2, ppa is not secure so not able to install latest version.
You can see my version that I used in this video in the top left when I show OBS.
I notice that this source is not present in OBS 29. Used to have it in 27.x. Depricated?
go into settings, advanced, scroll to bottom, then uncheck enable browser source hardware acceleration in sources.
@@trui I tried that, based on other posts about this, but after restarting OBS, it's still missing from the list.
I have a question. Like "I'm a beginner, so the question may be easy, but it's difficult for me", if you copy my RUclips video url and put it in a browser source and look at the screen, you will see a screen that plays not only my video, but also RUclips. The screen that plays between my videos comes out from the top and the title and subscription like notification from the bottom. How can I copy the url so that only my video comes out? No one tells me, please
So, the browser source will put the whole page into your OBS, not just the video on that page. So what you can do is click on interact and then make it full screen in OBS. This way you will only see the video. An alternative if you have the video on your computer is to add it as a media source instead.

You can use a saturation filter and turn the saturation all the way down 🙌

That's annoying! I wouldn't be able to tell you what it is than just from the information I have.
When I press browser source give name blue box doesn't appear
You can always right click the source to change the name of the source
I still can't hear audio from viewer's PoV because no checkbox of 'monitor sound in OBS' on my mac 😔
That's annoying. I usually recommend a windows computer as most programs that are meant for streaming are designed around windows. Especially if you do gaming as some games don't even run on Apple. But I guess you can't really do anything with that as you have a mac 😅

I'm not sure if that's a compliment 😅 English is my second language, so naturally, I have an accent. I spreak Dutch as native language and understand quite some German as well. Currently learning Japanese, but pretty sure I will never be able to do it without an accent 😜

What if you stream from your phone?
You can't use OBS on your phone. You could use something like streamlabs as streaming software (they have an app)

I want to play my Slipstream playlist as a source in Obs Studio. I can add the URL to Slipstream but it is not logged into my account so it just sits there doing NOTHING. How can I add a source and be logged in so it plays my playlist?????
I just want to play my Slipstream playlist in Obs studio and I am getting so frustrated I am getting ready to kick my puppy and beat the shit out of my computer!@!@!@ I cannot find anyone to help solve this and Slipstream has no support
I haven't heard of Slipstream myself but it sounds like you play audio via the website. You can either put it on in a browser and record your desktop audio or work with virtual audio cables or Wave Link software from Elgato (comes with Stream Deck + and Elgato mics)
