- i spent like 5 hours doing a "perfect" recreation of powerdown v1 just for this lmao. I had to put all the background pieces all in the correct spots, i had to recreate the dodge mechanic with MX jumping and eveything, and i had to recreate the "innocence doesnt get you far" section with the "WAHOOO" text moving and everything. A lot of effort for a video thats probably only gonna get like 2k views lmao

Meanwhile, Boyfriend is lured into the dimension to continue the battle with Trolljak, thus leading to the song, Legacy.

The mod is centered around Super Horror Mario, a demonic version of the original Mario, from the rather well-known artwork by Devianart. Included within the mod are many fan-created versions of official Nintendo content from the Super Mario Bros. franchise.
The mod had been in development for almost 2 years.

No they did not lmao, the backgrouns setting just got taller, look at the stairs behind mx, there are so many bricks making the form of the stairs than in the v1, the background just got bigger and mx continued to stay within the same size as the bg

Legit. My only issue is the lack of "GET BACK HERE!" at 1:17 just dont hit the same but overall damn this was a pretty good cover
I didn’t think the melody from the V2 vocals would fit in the V1 instrumental, but it does and it feels so natural. Nice work!

I don't know about y'all but I prefer MX's design and vocals in this version. And the background music isn't overwhelmed but menacing and quiet, representing the emptyness of MX's dead world
I always liked this part of the actual music itself better ( 0:25 - 0:59) than the new one, but liked the notes/charting of the new one better. This is perfect
