Yes, i’ve been moving towards this mentality too and it’s honestly life changing! ❤️😭 I’m so tired of feeling like i should loose weight or be a specific size to please others, especially since I’ve put on a noticeable amount of weight since covid started. After getting rid of clothes that don’t fit and accepting that I need to start buying things in a size or 2 up, I feel so much better bc I actually fit in my clothes and look damn good in them!!! 🥰
Same! I was holding on to my smaller size clothes for years hoping I'll loose enough weight to be able to fit in those again and feeling permanent guilt for not being able to. At the beginning of this year I finally realised that most likely it is never gonna happen, but even if it will 1 day, my taste and style have been changed quite drastically since, so I don't even care about them anymore. At the end of the day, I got rid of about 30% of my wardrobe, and it's the best feeling ever!

I have had to go into the office all through 2020/2021, so I have worn my regular office clothing. However, I lost 57 lbs!!!! So I had to get rid of most of my clothing. I keep a super minimalist wardrobe, so I got rid of the 2 small boxes of too large clothes and brought in only pieces I absolutely needed. I was able to thrift everything I needed for $137.
I've had this video on repeat while I go through all my clothes. Perfect motivation and company to pass the time and I'm actually getting rid of stuff which is big for me.
Two weeks ago it was 35 degrees Fahrenheit....last week 95 degrees. Caught me off guard. I have more summer pants than tops. The complete opposite of winter. Way too many jeans.

But actually, half of the old clothes I didn't want either. My stepdaughter stole and ruined the best ones when she was on drugs because she thought she'd lost enough weight to squeeze in. Don't do drugs, kids. Thank God she's better now.
