And it's incredibly easy to play. They talk about the fact that the rosewood necks are all just a little bit different and that they cannot guarantee a particular shape because of that. So I feel like I've hit the neck lottery in getting one that is aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to play all the way up the neck. Since I've gotten this guitar, it's spent almost no time in its case. I keep it out where I can pick it up and play it any time I want without having to open the case.
I have grown to really love this guitar. I decided to adjust the pole pieces on the Shawbuckers to match up to what I wanted it to sound like. They were set to flat, and that really did kind of keep this guitar from sounding its best. I'll be doing a video soon of this guitar compared to my two other Stratocasters. Might throw in the HM Strat just to showcase how varied these guitars are.
No. This one was custom ordered from Fender through their Mod Shop program. You can go to www.fender.com and select "Mod Shop" from the options near the top of the page. From there, you can choose a few different body shapes (they have now added Acoustasonic options to the Mod Shop) and start building your dream guitar. I kind of wonder how many of these guitars get built similar to the one I had built. I'm almost positive that my desire to build a hardtail is in a minority, as most people want the tremolo. But I'm just not good enough to need it and I've always loved the way a hardtail Strat feels compared to the tremolo optioned ones.
Gotta say: That's a great looking guitar.

It is exactly the same color as your car 🧐 love the neck
That wasn't one of the reasons I ordered it in Sherwood Green, but it was a pleasant surprise when it came in and looked so similar.

Looks beautiful
There's a ton of equipment, now all that's left is to learn how to play...
