- Summary of events in the MAP: The ThunderClan warrior Moonflower was killed by WindClan’s medicine cat Hawkheart during a battle. Hawkheart killed Moonflower because she went after the clan’s medicine store. Moonflower went after the medicine store because her brother Goosefeather (ThunderClan’s medicine cat) told her that StarClan wanted her to.
This MAP imagines that, after her death, Moonflower is upset with Hawkheart, believing him to have killed her unnecessarily. Hawkheart maintains that Moonflower deserved to die for attacking his clan’s medicine supply. The two argue and fight. With neither party willing to budge, there is no victor, and Moonflower returns to StarClan.
If this doesn’t seem like my other MAPs, it’s because I did not create this one. With permission, Riley Ellis and I rehosted this MAP, which was originally written and launched by Spunkeii.
It’s been a year and a half since this MAP launched-time flies! I’m so grateful to have it done and for the long term dedication on the part of the artists, who all did a wonderful job. A special thank you to Ginger for always motivating me and for quickly (and beautifully) completing the last part that was left, allowing this MAP to be completed at long last.
I apologize to anybody that entered the thumbnail contest before we took over the MAP. I tried to get the word out for people to resubmit when I posted the new MAP call, but any entries that were not resubmitted were lost as I neglected to save these files before the original MAP server was deleted.

Man, it was probably pretty awkward during the next medicine cat meeting - the whole, "Oh hey Goosefeather, sorry about your sister" thing
this fandom is in desperate need of more hawkheart content!!! especially more content out there that shines some light on hawkheart’s perspective. he’s constantly painted as the villain, yet when you really think about it- what moonflower did was seriously awful. starclan’s wishes or not. she attempted to completely demolish windclan’s medicine cat den knowing it would be incredibly difficult for them to replenish their supplies. those herbs she destroyed were not only needed for the clan’s warriors who had been injured in the raid upon their home, but the elders, queens, and kits too. moonflower knew she was putting innocent cats at risk. she shouldn’t have lost her life, but i don’t think the fandom is right to depict her as a saint.
This is a very interesting concept, I’m not on either side of this because while Moonflower did raid WindClans stocks, she was only acting on Pinestar’s orders. While Hawkheart was protecting his Clan, he may have gone a little overboard in the fight. Overall I think the real victims are Bluepaw and Snowpaw in this situation.
I think honestly, moonflower should have been injured at least. She was trying to destroy the medicine supply of Windclan, I think it's justified.
I thought this was hawkFROST and moonflower for half the video and I was so confused

Oh my god I love this so much. Using them arguing as framing device is GOLD, and Hawkheart's entire shtick makes me so happy, from the hair flower to him putting it back on after Moonflower knocks it off and then angrily ripping it off again as a callback to his warrior roots and what he'd really like to be doing. Them angrily trying to convince each other was so great, and having it as an argument really showcases the emotion of the song in a way that's just way less satisfying when it's a one sided beatdown. Love how they both still think they're right-- and how with what happened the books, killing someone is wrong but also destroying medicine kills people, and Hawkheart is rightfully upset because he's the medicine cat and those were lifesaving herbs, and Moonflower is rightfully upset with being murdered. Love Hawkheart's design as well.

Can we just talk about how Hawkheart is a medicine cat and is literally arguing StarClan? Like seriously you're arguing with your boss.
I love how this doesnt make anyone seem like the victim or the villain. It makes theem seem both flawed and confused. Hawkheart was right in protecting his clan but shouldn't have killed her and instead just let her go with a few scars, and Moonflower shouldn't have tried to destroy the herb supply but she was acting in Pinestar and Goosefeather's orders for what they believed was for the good of their clan. I just love the concept, the script and the designs with all my heart and it shows no winner or loser, instead it just tells us theyre both as bad as the other and that the real victims were the rest of windclan and thunderclan, specifically bluepaw and snowpaw.

I love how this one is not from either perspective entirely and switches. The song is a bad person talking about someone they don’t like, so it makes sense.

I see a bunch of people saying "Hawkheart should've given Moonflower a warning" or "he could've just gathered new herbs" or even the " he could've asked the other Clans for help". I've even seen "Moonflower had kits, so he shouldn't've killed her".
