Love the show and all you do. It must be tough to drum up talk in a dead zone of the year but you make it fun and entertaining everytime. Thanks for keeping the offseason fun
You mean the 14th best defensive team last season (top 5-8 post asb)? We only lost HB really and he was by far one of our worst defenders and we added guys like Carter who will be huge once healthy. Still need the stretch 4 who can defend we have waited for but there’s absolutely no reason this team is bad defensively
Mike Brown has a point by being a defense first head coach. The 80's Celtics and Lakers, both teams played great defense and it lead to great offense. When Jordan led the Bulls, they had a great defense that helped make the triangle offense so deadly. The Spurs, they did the same when Duncan was leading the way. The defense made the offense work. The Warriors... again...same thing. The Defense made the offense work. The Celtics this past season. Great defense and it made the offense great as well. I am not sure if the West really got better this off-season. The Clippers got worse. The Warriors are likely not as good. The Blazers, Jazz and Spurs won't be good. The Grizzlies and Rockets are to much of wild cards to know what they will be. The Pelicans may or may not be healthy again. That is 7 teams that I am not seeing a lot of things to get excited about. We know Boston and Philadelphia are going to fight like dogs in the east. Indiana, Cleveland and New York are going to be really damn good. Miami and Orlando can't be counted out and Milwaukee, even with the disaster that happened under Doc Rivers, is still a threat. The Hawks, Bulls, Pistons, Wizards, Nets, Rapters and Hornets are the ones who will be weak. So I think it is going to be a very balanced NBA. The 16 who should be playoff teams and the rest hoping for good picks in the lottery. The good teams in the west got better. The conference as a whole might not be. This doesn't mean it will play out exactly as expected. Injuries happen, some vets will underperform, some young players will regress instead of taking a step forward. A lot of variables. But as it looks right now, this appears to be a pretty balanced NBA.
I don’t question the defense in the playoffs games will be reffed the way it was when we had a top 8 defense. Keon/keegan should be better defensively as well with more reps especially Keon I’d say we need one more wing defender preferably Cam Johnson
I think yall are forgetting how many times they went to Malik at the end of games, make it sound like fox had no help. Malik was top 10 in clutch points
Bro put a chain on when he had a shorty on the show I love it
Hahahaha
Yes, you got the: [ girl with the "corazón " ]

Love your show Matt, agree with you most of the time.
Kings fan here in Arizona! Love your enthusiasm. 👍🏽
Thank you! Hope you are staying cool!
Demar derozan was awful defensively last year. Felt like this was a desperation move by the kings
We were a sixth seed for a while there last year and now we got better
So did the grizzlies and spurs and rockets
The offense should take them to a top 8 seed the defense is the question like it always is

And that 14th number on the season comes despite being near the absolute bottom for half the season
new intro 🎉
I hear you Matt, but football is back so that helps tremendously lol

Something the above, folks, need to take notice.

To be fair, Coach of the year Dwayne Casey, defense first did have DeRosan in his prime. Is Keegan our Leonard 👋
I’m really interested in her qualifications and what she knows about basketball.
Tristi is a fantastic writer and has a great knowledge of the game, hence the reason she is paid by a company like NBC to write and cover an NBA team.
Maybe a sense of shade here, but context is everything.
Saved from backlash/protection if from a place of curiosity. . .
Cant start Monk. We'd be practically guaranteed to lose any time our opponent has a tall, offensively talented wing
I suggest we propose a trade with the Indiana Fever where the Kings get Caitlyn Clark??? 😂
They can pick up Evan Mobley they will get to the finals
ITd Be A great fit absolutely
