- Shakespeare's African play
Director Gregory Doran and actors Paterson Joseph and Ray Fearon talk about Julius Caesar during rehearsals for our new production, set in modern Africa.
Julius Caesar runs in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon from 28 May to 7 July 2012, then goes on tour.

I found this production on You Tube in January. Where did it go? I teach this play in an inner city high school. This production would be so exciting for my kids. Anyone?
you wrote this 6 years ago. How did the lesson go?
Julius Caesar will have its U.S. premiere at The Brooklyn Academy of Music’s (BAM) Harvey Theater, April 10-28, 2013; it will then travel to Columbus, to play May 1-5, at the Southern Theatre.
Saw it at BAM last night. Fantastic production! I think some parts of it work better than others, but the true "politicalness" of the play comes forth strongly. A really searching, boundary-stretching production.
Any chance of this production coming to the United States? It looks fabulous.
Brilliant show watched and was gripped from start to finish. How can I see the full production?
wrote this 7 years ago. I wonder if you're still active. This is interesting to see how people were interested in this stuff unlike now. Hope your doing good after 7 years.
The trailer is very off-putting.
