I had met Karen some moments before, and she was going to make an appearance in our taping. After dubbing some tapes, I came back and found my lunch gone. Thanks, Karen I was only 16 years old, and I guess she needed it more than I did.that’s the only thing I remember about Karen. She steals lunches.

Maybe Bob Barker was already thinking about some nice vacation in Hawaii after his stint as host that year because when he announced Miss New York as the 1st runner-up he said "Miss Hawaii is Miss USA" when the winner was from Illinois.
A Jewish girl has never won the Miss USA title. Black and Hispanic girls have won but as of 2012 , no Jewish girl winning Barbara Gayle Cooper, Miss New York came close as 1st Runner-Up and also won Miss Photogenic during the pageant
Is barbara Cooper Jewish or are you assuming that because she's from Brooklyn and she stated that she had a lot of people in the medical field in her family she did not come off as Jewish to me at all I went to college and high school with them even had a couple of Jewish roommates in college I've been around them a lot I hope I have not offended you by what I've said
