Because ever since Ultraviolence & Honeymoon, her voice has been more smoky and rasp. And she had been singing jazz / blues in these 2 eras with that smoky voice the most, her 'Born to die / lizzy' voice been gone ever since and now its back, thats how it makes me surprised.

I actually can't take how she only ever keeps getting better and better. All her eras have been spectacular but this one in particular really stands out. She's vibrant, lively and modern. Yet still remains authentic with that vintage flair. Wow. I'm blown away!

Yessss. Those born to die era years were suuuper hard. I was in high school living in Kansas and along came miss Perfect Del Rey like an angel. She allowed me to feel every inch of my sadness while healing and preparing for the biggest come up ever. My dream came true and I’m living in Europe now a days and I thank Lana for allowing me to emotionally feel the vision of a much better life ahead I had all dreamed up in my head. She gave me the strength to carry forward
