I was never really a fan of Shirou, so seeing this guy go on rate up meant little to me. Sure he's a stellar looper but I just wasn't excited. My friend however, is a stan for Shirou. He was really excited for Muramasa to come out. Unfortunately, he passed away in November. I'm still on the process of mourning, but I know he wouldn't want me to be sad about. In his honor, I rolled for this guy and ended up walking away with an NP2 Muramasa. I really miss my friend but I'll just have to learn keep on keeping on. Rest in peace Kel.

Everyone’s invul pierce works the same as evade is like a weaker invincibility. Sure hit is like the weaker version of invul pierce, which only hits evade but not invincibility.
I literally started playing this game because of this character. I started saving all my sq for this day a year ago. And never thought the day would come.
If I fail to get Muramasa which I did with 400 sq and 25 tickets I will save until I literally guarantee Melusine. I will keep trying for Muramasa until is over but until then I’m not giving up. I’m a f2p those damn months saving will NOT be wasted!!

Don't roll all together roll like 10 if you you don't get stop and at afternoon or night roll 10 again until last day works for me when I rolled with 600 sq for van Gogh at once I got nothing so I feel you.
trust me, muramasa with black grail is basically perfect. You effectively double your normal np damage if you have a max black grail, and a 20% np boost with anything. Also you can just use tameshi-mono to boost his np damage to effectively become 260% of what it normally is
My catalyst was spending money for the first time in this game. When I got back to back castoria earlier this year I knew I absolutely needed him(he’s also just a top 5 favorite character of fine) my ftp quarts were a complete shaft so I bought one pack and luckily I got him while being able to save 15 so I can do the gssr too
3000sq np5. Best investment ever. While I don’t have a native castoria to tri loop. Just double loop plus critting on last two wave with black grail is satisfying enough
I’ve been waiting for him since I learned he was coming 2 years ago lol so super worth! Especially since he came np5 within 700 sq, 10 tickets, and I had Anastasia, Odysseus, and Artoria x2 pop up for the ride as well. 😊
Got my Mura at NP 2 with 16,000 attack power, big boy crit command codes, +500 card enhancements and the double Castoria setup. Yeah, I'd say he's good.
i got spishtar from gssr and i though to myself "hmm im feeling lucky today" and got him to NP2 from less than 200SQ and i could confidently say that he's really fun to use specially for those nodes that is 3/3/1or2. the crits are really satisfying. if your feeling lucky just go for it you wont be disappointed

Btw for that last skill, you get 10 NP for every card, except the NP, you also get 10 NP for using the extra card. So 40 NP extra NP from a brave chain.
I think I’m cursed to MLB event CEs because I MLB’d the New Years CE with 8 copies and spent 400+ sq (some paid) along with NP4 Lanling for one Muramasa. Wanted Van Gogh on the GSSR after I used up most of my Muramasa savings for her, but got Summer Kiara. I cry everytime EDIT: I THREW MY TRIAL QUEST TICKET AT MURAMASA FOR THE HELL OF IT AND GOT HIM NP2!!!!! I’M CRYING
Got my first 5* Saber with Ibuki-Douji so I will not get too disappointed when I didn't pull him..... But I pull him and have enough to make a NP2 Spishtar when her banner arrives. Let's goooooo!!!!
Must? I would have said maybe a month ago but since he recently got a rate up on jp, I'd say no. He's good don't get me wrong,but being someone who has castoria and tamamo,I can basically farm anything with salieri (grailed to 85). Just pull for characters you really like or supports.
Burned through about 20 multis worth, but did get NP2 Muramasa and along the way I got spooked by Osakabehime, then also received a Suzuka for NP3 so I can't complain too much. Pure saving mode from here on out until anniversary and LB6 though.
After saving for 2 years straight, only rolling for castoria. I had 3.3k quartz ready for him. For my dedication and patience, I was awarded NP7 in just 1.3k. Got him completely maxed out in everything. Thanks for the video ZT, they’re fun to watch!
How big is the difference between him at np4 and np5? I was collecting SQ for whole year for this man and Castoria but could not make it to np5. As long as i braught him all the way to bond 15 I could technically get him to 120 and two apend skills but that's unlikely for years to come.
@@AIWARAS619 honestly the jump between NP4 and 5 isn't all that noticeable, especially after get 1 or 2 off and the buff starts stacking with itself (plus all of Castoria's Arts/ATK buffs going on at the same time) - if anything it just feels more consistent damage wise vs non-Lancer waves. I'm just a huge Shirou stan hahaha
I'm arts main so i really dont care for anything else, it's true that i forgot kama summer is coming this summer and i kinda need some servant to deal with knight class because cavalry class i have my OG kiara np5 for anything else. Well if he manages to farm lancers and sabers i'll be happy with my lucky muramasa np2.
1,5k SQ and NP5. Leveled him up to 118. Waiting for my last grail and more exp. xD After that, I need to finish his gold fous (300Atk/HP left) and of course the fou prints xD
I wasn't going to summon for him, then I got completely savaged by the GSSR (1 in 8 chance for a duplicate and of course I got that), I got sad and rolled for Muramasa. Got him on 90 SQ and 18 tickets and I'm now grinding his bond exp :) So far he feels a little better than Summer Musashi for FQ farming because his star/crit makes it easier to deal with the bigger 3rd turn big guy where Musashi has some trouble at NP1.
I went all out and even had to spend some money cause this is the only rate he is going to get in the next two years. Got him on NP 2 and he feels insane. Hope they are going to drop an event soon so I can test him for real.
I somehow managed to get np2 Muramasa. As someone who didnt get lucky with Space Ishtar it is pretty nice. Ofc he is my big target of 2023. I am broke, but I will start saving for Summer Kama now. He is very good at his job.
I have him at np2 now and I'm kinda regretting not going for np2 Ibuki instead. He is good farmer and good in bosses but I'm little disappointed taken the amount of hype there was for him.
Got Castoria from the GSSR and Muramasa within the first 30 tickets. Now I finally feel like I'm on par with LB 5.2... Spamming double castorias+shirou all day, no matter the class advantage.
Tbh, I think he is amazing but context is important. This is coming from someone who got him NP5 and maxed day one. he just compartmentalizes a lot of things. He isn't the best aoe arts servant, he just has utilities that help him do CQ quests. He isn't an arts crit DPS, he has a nuke turn and can facilitate high damage on that turn. Muramasa has value for everyone but what he provides for everyone isn't at the same time. For new players he's a god sent similar to arjuna alter in how much he trivializes all early content. For developed accounts he's great at replacing Jason but if you have NP5 Ishtar or want summer kama with maxed black grail he doesn't break the ceiling on general class types like they do. For both parties he's GOOD at CQ. Though developed accounts don't need a story slayer, and new accounts don't understand he's not the pinnacle of arts aoe servants. Not to mention CQ? He's good but he's also frail. Those require more than just defence and ignore invincibility. And you still need more than just muramasa to nuke those, you want double castoria or even a deeper pool of supports and units depending on the quest. If you are new he's great but you have to not be so new that you can get him as high an np as possible. He's great for those who aren't going to have enough to grab utility servants this year or invest in the tomamovitch system. He is an alternative (I say this very loosely) to summer kama if You're trying to again compartmentalize and avoid needing things to assist your servants through CQ content. Having Castoria is Great but without a deeper roster of units there are gonna be some CQ out of reach for you without having silly things like Holmes or a stall setup. TLDR: do you have castoria, but nothing else? Get muramasa. If you have a more developed roster in things like tamamo, Holmes, Vlad, reines, waver and so on. Wait for kama. You don't NEED muramasa as a new or developed player, you really need him to save you time as an intermediate player. Even for new players you want that pity and you'd be much better off transitioning to the vitch system with the utmost discipline in your spending. you can wait for lady Avalon or summer skadi or some banner rerun to hop into a different card type but it's gonna be buster time for a hot minute to do with that what you will.

It's already frustrating that I failed to get castoria because of limited luck and resources as a f2p guy along with some of the following banners and it appears that it will be the same for this one, (along with the fact that I can barely play now due to crashes because of my weak device: j4+ unless I buy a better phone) I just...don't care anymore, I just want to ask some pros here whaler or not, some best alternatives based on what I currently have that is a 4 star so that I might feel better (for casters: nitocris, miyu edelfelt, or circe and for sabers: diarmuid, hokusai, siegfried tsuna or suzuki gozen? ) please.
If you want decent farmers? Your looking towards conserving your mental energy for event servants. Event servants being np5 with four star stats and double exp is the easiest way to get a functioning servant going. In that regard you'd want good generic supports for those event servants. Like hans, Helena, and mash. They are all genetic and work with many different servants with varying utilities and endurance on the Frontline. I won't go about being judgemental but, a f2p account that holds onto monthly tickets and conserves star gems from beginner rewards and events usually can break pity on at least one juggernaut of a servant. Starting a new account might not be a bad idea for this year and just trying to practice better f2p discipline. I myself use my f2p acc and I had enough to pity castoria and muramasa and it was just a year old account that I hadn't rolled on. My advice is pick a card type or waifu, and commit to It's elite servants/and or what helps them work. That's about all you can do. By your 4 stars you have I can tell you splurged here and there, be as greedy as possible next time around.
If it helps you feel better, let me tell you a little story. I started playing FGO around 2018 with the knowledge that people have been able to 3-turn farm almost everything, even with the presence of looping servants like lancelot and such. Even if my account today has accumulated majority of the broken support servants for farming purposes, the irony was that the inky thing that made me still play the game is that I started to not care whether i can minimize turns for farming, i just started doing standard comps. Over and over again. Just having one support and two dps to slap mobs does it for me. For almost 4 years of FGO 'till today I am doing just that. My point of telling that is if you still want to enjoy the game, you should stop looking at what you don't have today, then start building on what you have for now. Of course, I'd want to wish you luck so that you get your favorite servant, but then I am no God to assure you the certainty of getting one since this is gacha hell What i'm also saying is, whoever you have will always work in any farming scenario, you just have to bring the right guy and then experiment from there to see who makes the least possible number of turns to clear one farming node I hope this message helps you

i spent 300 sq and 40 tickets and got muramasa up to NP4. Don't know if i wm unlucky for getting it up to np4 or am i unlucky because i was not able to get it to np5. it really is hard for F2P but still it eas my luckiest pull
I got Muramasa but I keep wavering on if I should get him to 120, or just get the caster damage append. I think I would have enough to reach 120 with coins from bonds. And that would be a general damage up vs damage against a specific class. I'm just curious if anyone has any suggestions since I never had this much coins before.
I rolled like crazy or New Year. I got two Muramasa, my second Lancelot, Emiya Assasin, Astrae and another 5 star berzerker, Ms. Horse-Man. I have artoria. Fgo just loves to keep me in the Art meat, and boy do I like being there. My arts power level is off the charts. Edit: oh, and I also got Astolfo and three extra copies of Qin Liangyu, who I don't use, yet I got at NP4.

Tbh the difference is so little that you probably won't notice it: NP4 = 712.5% NP5 = 750% The important thing is that the NP charge will only be able to reach up to 200% alone, only up to 300% when NP5.
Just gonna copy paste something I said on another video to save time as I wanted to share this tale with ZTL too. -> Story time. Last night, I saw the Muramasa Banner was up. Had 18 Tickets. Was going to spend them on the Story Banner, but thought "Hey, I might get him. Besides, whatever I want in the Story Banner is most likely there too, so why not"? I didn't care if I got him or not. So...of course...because I genuinely didn't care, I already have my favorite Saber, Okita...on my 5th or 7th ticket, I got Muramasa. Cool. Today, I figured I should at least get him leveled up. Got him to Lv.90 and skills are 10/6/6. Then figured if I am doing all this work, might as well try for NP2. On my first Free 30 SQ pull (I only ever use Free SQ)... I got 2 copies of Muramasa. I cannot remember the last time I had luck that good. Took me years to get one copy of Gilgamesh and Altria. Caenis, a Servant I looked forward to forever and grinded my ass off for SQ before and during her Banner, got ONE copy. But when I don't care about Muramasa, RNG gives me THREE copies. I then leveled up his first and second Append Skills...I dunno if I should be happy or pissed off. Maybe both. Either way, there goes my luck for the rest of 2023. Now for the other 4 Servants I have been waiting forever for and actually very much want, unlike Muramasa, 2 of which are Fae Knights, I am willing to bet I'll get ZERO copies. 🙃 As a side note; despite my indifference, I did find it amusing that alot of Muramasa's commentary is very meta. Someone said to me that don't lose hope one day you'll too be able to pull 3 SSR/month , it's been 2 years and I'm still trying to get a single character that i like let alone rolling 3 SSR a month
Keep strong bro. My longest streak pulling banner without getting SSR is 8 months in 2021. failed every single one of my target and not getting even a single offrate SSR for all of that pain.

This will pisses you off..... NP2 Space Ishtar, NP2 Castoria, NP2 lolivinci, NP2 Summer Musashi, NP2 Summer Kiara all off them on their release week. Upgraded Summer Jeanne, Scathath, OG Artoria(spook), Kama, Raikou, Sanzang(spook), Merlin all to NP2. On NP1 I have Skadi, Tamamo, Waver, Jalter, King Hassan, Gilgamesh, Summer BB, Karna(spook), Arjuna(spook), Oddyseus(spook), Bradamante(spook), and recently Himiko, Gogh, Douman. All of this SSR while being a strict F2P!! Not even one GSSR I swear. Mostly because my country doesn't allow FGO and buying SQ here is a chore. Granted I'm a launchday player, have been for 5 years. But I still remember back when I'd sunk all of my stockpiled Sq on Merlin and didn't get him, happened again with Jalter and Godjuna. Did get them on their rerun except Godjuna of course but I still remember the heartache of sitting there with 0 SQ trying to do free quest for Sq thinking maybe I'll get them in the next roll. I've stop playing a couple times when that happened (I have all free servant except Chloe, BB, RiderKintoki and Scathath assassin for this reason) but did return after I accepted my fate. The last couple of years has been nice for me but being F2P I know it bound to happen again. Praying that I will get a couple more copy of Spishstar to get her to lvl120.

Was fortunate to get NP5 after 45 tickets and around 600ish SQ. Normally I would be resigned to get one maybe two for that amount.

Burned through about 20 multis worth, but did get NP2 Muramasa and along the way I got spooked by Osakabehime, then also received a Suzuka for NP3 so I can't complain too much. Pure saving mode from here on out until anniversary and LB6 though.
After saving for 2 years straight, only rolling for castoria. I had 3.3k quartz ready for him.
For my dedication and patience, I was awarded NP7 in just 1.3k.

How big is the difference between him at np4 and np5? I was collecting SQ for whole year for this man and Castoria but could not make it to np5. As long as i braught him all the way to bond 15 I could technically get him to 120 and two apend skills but that's unlikely for years to come.

@@AIWARAS619 honestly the jump between NP4 and 5 isn't all that noticeable, especially after get 1 or 2 off and the buff starts stacking with itself (plus all of Castoria's Arts/ATK buffs going on at the same time) - if anything it just feels more consistent damage wise vs non-Lancer waves. I'm just a huge Shirou stan hahaha
I'm arts main so i really dont care for anything else, it's true that i forgot kama summer is coming this summer and i kinda need some servant to deal with knight class because cavalry class i have my OG kiara np5 for anything else. Well if he manages to farm lancers and sabers i'll be happy with my lucky muramasa np2.

I wasn't going to summon for him, then I got completely savaged by the GSSR (1 in 8 chance for a duplicate and of course I got that), I got sad and rolled for Muramasa. Got him on 90 SQ and 18 tickets and I'm now grinding his bond exp :) So far he feels a little better than Summer Musashi for FQ farming because his star/crit makes it easier to deal with the bigger 3rd turn big guy where Musashi has some trouble at NP1.
Got him np3, maybe he will be my First lvl 120. Just have to decide if i really wanna do that kind of grind

Tbh, I think he is amazing but context is important. This is coming from someone who got him NP5 and maxed day one. he just compartmentalizes a lot of things. He isn't the best aoe arts servant, he just has utilities that help him do CQ quests. He isn't an arts crit DPS, he has a nuke turn and can facilitate high damage on that turn.
Muramasa has value for everyone but what he provides for everyone isn't at the same time. For new players he's a god sent similar to arjuna alter in how much he trivializes all early content. For developed accounts he's great at replacing Jason but if you have NP5 Ishtar or want summer kama with maxed black grail he doesn't break the ceiling on general class types like they do. For both parties he's GOOD at CQ. Though developed accounts don't need a story slayer, and new accounts don't understand he's not the pinnacle of arts aoe servants. Not to mention CQ? He's good but he's also frail. Those require more than just defence and ignore invincibility. And you still need more than just muramasa to nuke those, you want double castoria or even a deeper pool of supports and units depending on the quest.
If you are new he's great but you have to not be so new that you can get him as high an np as possible. He's great for those who aren't going to have enough to grab utility servants this year or invest in the tomamovitch system. He is an alternative (I say this very loosely) to summer kama if You're trying to again compartmentalize and avoid needing things to assist your servants through CQ content. Having Castoria is Great but without a deeper roster of units there are gonna be some CQ out of reach for you without having silly things like Holmes or a stall setup.
TLDR: do you have castoria, but nothing else? Get muramasa. If you have a more developed roster in things like tamamo, Holmes, Vlad, reines, waver and so on. Wait for kama. You don't NEED muramasa as a new or developed player, you really need him to save you time as an intermediate player. Even for new players you want that pity and you'd be much better off transitioning to the vitch system with the utmost discipline in your spending. you can wait for lady Avalon or summer skadi or some banner rerun to hop into a different card type but it's gonna be buster time for a hot minute to do with that what you will.

It's already frustrating that I failed to get castoria because of limited luck and resources as a f2p guy along with some of the following banners and it appears that it will be the same for this one, (along with the fact that I can barely play now due to crashes because of my weak device: j4+ unless I buy a better phone) I just...don't care anymore, I just want to ask some pros here whaler or not, some best alternatives based on what I currently have that is a 4 star so that I might feel better (for casters: nitocris, miyu edelfelt, or circe and for sabers: diarmuid, hokusai, siegfried tsuna or suzuki gozen? ) please.
For farming? You're out of luck as they aren't good in any way.
Nitocris is a nice caster to farm so long you get Waver in the next free ticket
If you want decent farmers? Your looking towards conserving your mental energy for event servants. Event servants being np5 with four star stats and double exp is the easiest way to get a functioning servant going. In that regard you'd want good generic supports for those event servants. Like hans, Helena, and mash. They are all genetic and work with many different servants with varying utilities and endurance on the Frontline.
I won't go about being judgemental but, a f2p account that holds onto monthly tickets and conserves star gems from beginner rewards and events usually can break pity on at least one juggernaut of a servant. Starting a new account might not be a bad idea for this year and just trying to practice better f2p discipline. I myself use my f2p acc and I had enough to pity castoria and muramasa and it was just a year old account that I hadn't rolled on. My advice is pick a card type or waifu, and commit to It's elite servants/and or what helps them work. That's about all you can do. By your 4 stars you have I can tell you splurged here and there, be as greedy as possible next time around.

If it helps you feel better, let me tell you a little story.
I started playing FGO around 2018 with the knowledge that people have been able to 3-turn farm almost everything, even with the presence of looping servants like lancelot and such. Even if my account today has accumulated majority of the broken support servants for farming purposes, the irony was that the inky thing that made me still play the game is that I started to not care whether i can minimize turns for farming, i just started doing standard comps. Over and over again. Just having one support and two dps to slap mobs does it for me. For almost 4 years of FGO 'till today I am doing just that.
My point of telling that is if you still want to enjoy the game, you should stop looking at what you don't have today, then start building on what you have for now. Of course, I'd want to wish you luck so that you get your favorite servant, but then I am no God to assure you the certainty of getting one since this is gacha hell
What i'm also saying is, whoever you have will always work in any farming scenario, you just have to bring the right guy and then experiment from there to see who makes the least possible number of turns to clear one farming node

I got Muramasa but I keep wavering on if I should get him to 120, or just get the caster damage append. I think I would have enough to reach 120 with coins from bonds. And that would be a general damage up vs damage against a specific class. I'm just curious if anyone has any suggestions since I never had this much coins before.

Tbh the difference is so little that you probably won't notice it:
NP4 = 712.5%
NP5 = 750%
The important thing is that the NP charge will only be able to reach up to 200% alone, only up to 300% when NP5.

Last night, I saw the Muramasa Banner was up. Had 18 Tickets. Was going to spend them on the Story Banner, but thought "Hey, I might get him. Besides, whatever I want in the Story Banner is most likely there too, so why not"? I didn't care if I got him or not. So...of course...because I genuinely didn't care, I already have my favorite Saber, Okita...on my 5th or 7th ticket, I got Muramasa. Cool. Today, I figured I should at least get him leveled up. Got him to Lv.90 and skills are 10/6/6. Then figured if I am doing all this work, might as well try for NP2. On my first Free 30 SQ pull (I only ever use Free SQ)...
I got 2 copies of Muramasa. I cannot remember the last time I had luck that good. Took me years to get one copy of Gilgamesh and Altria. Caenis, a Servant I looked forward to forever and grinded my ass off for SQ before and during her Banner, got ONE copy. But when I don't care about Muramasa, RNG gives me THREE copies. I then leveled up his first and second Append Skills...I dunno if I should be happy or pissed off. Maybe both. Either way, there goes my luck for the rest of 2023. Now for the other 4 Servants I have been waiting forever for and actually very much want, unlike Muramasa, 2 of which are Fae Knights, I am willing to bet I'll get ZERO copies. 🙃

From beni enma (2021 NY) to muramasa (2023ny) , the only new servants i managed to pull are summer Musashi and Orion, my account has just became an storeroom to collect year 1-2 servants but even then i only managed to get only 15 NP 1 servants over 2.2y of me starting this game

On NP1 I have Skadi, Tamamo, Waver, Jalter, King Hassan, Gilgamesh, Summer BB, Karna(spook), Arjuna(spook), Oddyseus(spook), Bradamante(spook), and recently Himiko, Gogh, Douman. All of this SSR while being a strict F2P!! Not even one GSSR I swear. Mostly because my country doesn't allow FGO and buying SQ here is a chore.
Granted I'm a launchday player, have been for 5 years. But I still remember back when I'd sunk all of my stockpiled Sq on Merlin and didn't get him, happened again with Jalter and Godjuna. Did get them on their rerun except Godjuna of course but I still remember the heartache of sitting there with 0 SQ trying to do free quest for Sq thinking maybe I'll get them in the next roll. I've stop playing a couple times when that happened (I have all free servant except Chloe, BB, RiderKintoki and Scathath assassin for this reason) but did return after I accepted my fate. The last couple of years has been nice for me but being F2P I know it bound to happen again. Praying that I will get a couple more copy of Spishstar to get her to lvl120.
