This song really hits hard for me. When I was younger, I didn't really have to many friends, so the only ones I had were stuffed animals. And I wanted to be a teenager so bad, but my parents told me not to rush growing up. But I didn't listen. I had the most fun times with my stuffed animals, I thought it would be even more fun as a teen. But it wasn't now the only thing I want to do now is go back to that age. So a reminder to anyone that's reading this that's still young: Don't force yourself to grow up, trust me, you're much better staying younger for now. And yes, I know we must all grow up at one point. But don't rush yourself.
I'm 20 now, I went through abuse from 6 to around 14. It still weighs on me because I remember most of it while my brother barely remembers any of it and my mom denies it happening. I have depression and anxiety from the abuse. This song makes me feel... a mix of happy, sad, calm, and like I want to cry. It's a piece of art
This song bring something back in your memory that is really hard to explain, you'll feel free again and the sentence "Just to be a kid again.." Hits hard.
When you’re a kid you want to be an adult. When your an adult you want to be a kid. I think everyone just wants to be able to do whatever they want with no responsibility.
Yep, because when we were younger we didnt know all the responsibilities were of becoming an adult, we just thought it would be easy to get a job and earn lots of money, but as you grow older, you notice those things, and you start wishing to be young and care-free again ;-;
I don’t know of a single adult who wants to be a child again. You think kids can do whatever they want with no repercussions or responsibility? What, were you a spoiled only child with rich as fuck parents?

This song really means something to me, a few months ago in October my grandma passed away. I heard this song on TikTok’s a week after she passed away. Once I heard it my mind flooded with memories when I was younger with her.Never take loved ones for granted ❤️
Honestly, this song can relate to many people. When we were younger, we wanted to grow up fast but then when you become older, you miss being young. If you’re reading this and you’re still young, please don’t rush yourself to grow up.
I interpret this song as a person that suffered from schizofrenia their whole childhood, and used to think that "trees talking to them" was normal. They got a kinda late diagnostic and then started taking meds and seeing things as they rly are: "now I know what's real and what's fake". Also, they were seen as the weird kid, and had a lonely childhood. As a teenager, since they weren't used to seeing things as they really are, they start having crazy thoughts like "are we from outer space?" and getting crazy over these thoughts. Also, they realize they lost their whole childhood in loneliness, since their "friends" (like, the trees that talked to them) weren't real. And they develop childish manners and an obsession over "becoming a kid again"
I see that a lot of people came here for a meme from tiktok I dont really know what this song makes me feel, but it makes me really sad and happy at the same time I am still young, not a small child, but also not grown up. I'm often stressed out, I sometimes have anxiety attacks. When I hear this song, I think back to when everything was so easy. I would go to sleep every night, and would wake up happily. I would be excited to see what the next day has to show me. Now I just wake up for no reason. I wake up, I start stressing out about things. When it's my birthday, I don't feel so happy and energetic like when I was younger. I sometimes fall into a deep black hole. I would love to stay there forever and just fade away. But I have a great friend. They always help me out of that hole. They're sometimes the only person, that makes me want to live. To continue. To see more of the world. Things have changed. I have changed too. I'm really scared of my new self, and how my past childishness slowly fades away. I know this probably doesn't make any sense, but I felt like I need to share what I feel about this song. ~just to be a kid again~
You got a point. I now have managed to get myself to be happy for a certain period of time. And I can get my energy back in a snap. But this world is so harsh sometimes and I lose myself. Especially this life you are living right now. Even if reincarnation is real you won't be the same person again. So enjoy it while it lasts. Learn to love what you are doing. Even if people think you are weird they will start to like you.

Everytime I listen to this song I imagine two characters: an older tired and burnt out inverted colour character and a younger pastel character to represent the different between the two They go on little trips together, and near the end of the song they both lay under a tree, then the older character looks at the younger character who smiles before fading away to represent the loss of childhood
If anyone thinks this song is weird, its not. It has a real meaning. Their saying they miss the memories of their childhood and would give anything to go back in time.
@@lliaanguyen1210 yeah, but it is a good thing to talk about. Because it explains a lot about what a lot of people are going through, and songs that express a lot usually help a lot of people out.
This hits me hard. I remember wanting to grow up to do more stuff I wasn’t able to do back then, but now, I wish me back then would treasure all the moments I had with my childhood friends before all of them moved away. And what’s worse is that I right now, I still live in the same nostalgic place, our big backyard just outside my apartment. Everytime I walk in it, the smell of fresh cut grass just brings back memories and memories. All the kids I used to know all gone, barely anyone goes to the backyard, only those to walk their dogs. Present time is so stressing. It really hurts.
My kind of people are here. Empaths who were mistreated early in life just like me. I’ve had panic attacks since I was about 5 or 6 years old and didn’t even know what to call them until I was 12 years old. It was a mix of dissociation with anxiety and I would run crying to my mom and say, “ I feel like I’m going to pass out and never wake up.” At 13 years old I went through derealization / depersonalization for a whole year telling my friends, “ I feel like I’m always dreaming or in a video game like nothings real and I just want to wake up.” Needless to say I lost all my friends from their on and would eat lunch by myself behind the curtains in the school’s theatre room. Then at age 17 whatever personality I did have was robbed from me by intense depression. At 19 years old I started getting flashbacks and nightmares about childhood SA. The rage I’ve never let out came out all at once to the people that cared about me. I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. I’ve been alright so far for now. Lonely yes but still okay. Yesterday was Christmas and I caught myself having so much fun helping set up my nephews hot wheels race tracks and my nieces play dough kitchen set. It was only for an hour but I truly felt my inner child feel so happy and safe again. My mom was there watching us play and I know she loved seeing me be a kid again just for that short time. Now that I’m pregnant with my first baby at 25 years old I’ll get the chance to heal my inner child playing pretend, arts and craft, and playing with toys with my child. I have a middle name picked out for my baby girl… it’s Resilience.. because I hope she grows to be even more resilient and a better person than me ❤
My whole interpretation of "now i know what's real what's fake" is we are adults now , we can see how fake a lot of things in our childhood are .. and how fake that comfort is , realizing more and more truth unveiled as we grow older , whether we like it or not i just want to write my own thoughts that popped in my head while hearing this song , you are very welcome to use your own interpretation
I'm young, and I'm happy this song is here so I can take advice from people in the comments and be happy before I really grow up and I can prepare myself. From other people thank you and I wanted to grow up so badly but not anymore, i will not rush or anything so thank you people, for getting me ready for life.
This song is very special to me, not for the reasons you would think though.. me and my best friend used to listen to this song and we loved it. We were super close and this somg kinda seems nostalgic to me, However, me and my friend barely talk anymore, since we can’t.. but I really love the times I had with her. She was an amazing person, an amazing friend and maybe one day I can see her again, when we get back in contact. Without her, life has been getting kinda tough sometimes. She means so much to me that I can’t even describe it. But I’ll never lose hope, I’ll talk to her again one day ❤️ and I know things will get better
If you take time to read this comment well thank you. I can relate to this song a little bit, sometimes I feel like I'm not real, like i was in a simulation and that I'm not a human. Just after i just like "wake up" like i died but I was still he seeing what was happening and talking but a little bit later waking up, I have some problems like this. Sometimes when I look close to something i feel like I'm paused just thinking in my mind and I get scared at this thing easily after Now I always rather sleep than stay awake. Not because you can sleep just because you have dreams that you can control for once, I wish I was back a kid tho, no problems everything was alright at home only thought, at school we always used to bully me and reject me because I uses to be fat but I never actually felt this i didn't care at all and now It affect me that people bully me

@@aammii__ Some guy give her candy and she realize that candy taste salty....
im confused if it’s about her childhood trauma why would she wanna become a kid again
Everytime I listen to this song I imagine two characters: an older tired and burnt out inverted colour character and a younger pastel character to represent the different between the two
They go on little trips together, and near the end of the song they both lay under a tree, then the older character looks at the younger character who smiles before fading away to represent the loss of childhood
If anyone thinks this song is weird, its not. It has a real meaning. Their saying they miss the memories of their childhood and would give anything to go back in time.
| This song > headphones > loud > childhood swing > perfect. |
Blessed be the human see who made this song
This song makes me think of being in like this calm forest and thinking of my happy childhood
It just makes me feel nostalgic

how it sounds: 💏💗🎀🌺🌈
This song is so good
This gives me dream core/weird core vibes somehow-
Now this sh1t became a phonk
deserved to stay this way

This hits me hard. I remember wanting to grow up to do more stuff I wasn’t able to do back then,
but now, I wish me back then would treasure all the moments I had with my childhood friends before all of them moved away.
Same here
This song is relatable and it's a vibe what more in a song do you need
This song feels like I'm in a lucid dream and weird core dream :D
My kind of people are here. Empaths who were mistreated early in life just like me. I’ve had panic attacks since I was about 5 or 6 years old and didn’t even know what to call them until I was 12 years old. It was a mix of dissociation with anxiety and I would run crying to my mom and say, “ I feel like I’m going to pass out and never wake up.” At 13 years old I went through derealization
/ depersonalization for a whole year telling my friends, “ I feel like I’m always dreaming or in a video game like nothings real and I just want to wake up.” Needless to say I lost all my friends from their on and would eat lunch by myself behind the curtains in the school’s theatre room. I have a middle name picked out for my baby girl… it’s Resilience.. because I hope she grows to be even more resilient and a better person than me ❤
Omg this is such a sweet story. I'm sure you're going to be a great parent!
“I’d rather sleep than stay awake” is relatable
This song is really deep ngl
What does NGL mean?
Stezan!e it means “not gonna lie”
I know, I honestly wish I hadn't found this song. It brought back a lot of good memories from when I was little. Now I desperately want to go back.
This song gets the dream core and weird core lol i love it
Omg it's my old account:)
Hello old account
My whole interpretation of "now i know what's real what's fake" is we are adults now , we can see how fake a lot of things in our childhood are ..
and how fake that comfort is , realizing more and more truth unveiled as we grow older , whether we like it or not
i just want to write my own thoughts that popped in my head while hearing this song , you are very welcome to use your own interpretation
I'm young, and I'm happy this song is here so I can take advice from people in the comments and be happy before I really grow up and I can prepare myself. From other people thank you and I wanted to grow up so badly but not anymore, i will not rush or anything so thank you people, for getting me ready for life.
got to know Abt this song after the phonk remix and now I'm addicted to it ❤❤

This song is very special to me, not for the reasons you would think though.. me and my best friend used to listen to this song and we loved it. We were super close and this somg kinda seems nostalgic to me, However, me and my friend barely talk anymore, since we can’t.. but I really love the times I had with her. She was an amazing person, an amazing friend and maybe one day I can see her again, when we get back in contact. Without her, life has been getting kinda tough sometimes. She means so much to me that I can’t even describe it. But I’ll never lose hope, I’ll talk to her again one day ❤️ and I know things will get better
You got this bro, tell me when you've talked to her

Lol i'd never knew song can be too relate for me like wth every part of it just like telling my story
Sometimes when I look close to something i feel like I'm paused just thinking in my mind and I get scared at this thing easily after
Now I always rather sleep than stay awake. Not because you can sleep just because you have dreams that you can control for once, I wish I was back a kid tho, no problems everything was alright at home only thought, at school we always used to bully me and reject me because I uses to be fat but I never actually felt this i didn't care at all and now It affect me that people bully me
The king of football
The king eternal
Long live the king, Pele
The king has died
But his stars still shine
