- The Complex Sneakers Podcast is co-hosted by Joe La Puma, Brendan Dunne, and Matt Welty. This week, the cohosts are joined by Arthur Kar, the man behind the auto brand L'Art de L'automobile. In addition to supplying rare cars to artists and entertainers, Kar has collaborated with sneaker brands like Vans and Salomon via his streetwear brand. A super connected individual, Kar talks about his time with Virgil Abloh, projects like the “Bred” Off-White x Air Jordan 4 and Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1, buying loads of Mars Yards, shooting a video with Pop Smoke and Quavo in Paris, and more. Also, Joe gives Welty a very special gift and Brendan talks about badminton.

One of the best pods in a while. I love Arthur's POV on creating and respecting the work of his peers and himself. You can see the influence of Virgil on him and him on Virgil. Also loved how he spoke to shoes that mean something to you as an individual not just about hype. And the Virgil story had me smiling.
Love how the guests carry the conversation and look on joes face is he just focused and interested. Love the fact Arthur really was super humble and brought back why he got into shoes. Made him super relatable. Love it!
I absolutely Loved this episode, just listening to the stories from author had me smiling the whole way, phenomenal.

Possibly the best episode of the podcast thus far , this guy is a true French artist and you can tell you guys hosting him really enjoyed your time, Welty giggling at certain times means he hit bases that were unusual, well done guys.
