Florin mall kinda sucked going to while I was a teen because my mom always made me and my bros wait for her while she shopped at jcpenney for hella hours😂
What were those rooms in the basement? I recognize the photo center, watch and jewelry repair, and the optical center but I was wondering what were the other rooms? Thank you!
Its weird that my Sears has not closed in Aberdeen, Washington the jcpenney the last thing keeping the mall alive closes Well the movie theatre is the most popular thing there right now but the old jcpenney became a Extreme fun center, a very fun place with go karts other then that the mall is doing a bit well i Cannot find any old pictures of the aberdeen wa mall.
In 1983, I got my first cassette player with headphones from this store!
Exciting!
Sears rebranded in Canada before closing.
Used to go to the Florin Mall as a kid in the 80s and 90s. I still remember the outside of that Sears. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Was kinda sad when that closed. Miss weinstocks and jc Penney too.
Man, Sears was my favorite store. I am gonna miss Sears once they are all gone 😓
It closed yesterday. Sears was my best friend...it's gone now. All my memories there..

The Sears around where I live (I work there, actually) is also going out of business.
You should try to get back here once more to get a ride on the freight.

SEARS in Fairfield just closed this past July.
Is the Macy’s still there? I got caught stealing there when I was a teen, and never stole again... The security was on me hard!
They tore the entire mall down years ago. All department stores are gone

Wikipedia says this Sears opened in 1968
Maybe it opened in 1967 and the mall opened around it in 1968...
