Thank You for sharing!!! I bought a crafting shed (had no idea what all that entailed) slow process! I’ve been watching video after video of a model, and THIS is it!!!! I love the way you did EVERYTHING!!! All the storage ideas!!💡 thanks again for sharing! I’ve watched this at least ten x’s today! 😂❤
Where did you find the large magnet sheets ? I love your idea and want to borrow it for my space ! Thank you for sharing your awesome room! So many great ideas ❤
Ooo the crafted heart your aunt made is perfect for spritzing with perfume and putting into your closet or lingerie drawer! It's so pretty! I love it! She did such a great job making it for you!
Hi Theresa, I like your idea of getting feedback from other crafters about how to better use our craft space. My husband converted our back porch area into a craft area for me and at first it was functional BUT now too much stuff and too much paper later it is kind of overwhelming so hoping I can get ideas from other crafters as how to make better use of my space. Ok, I LOVE how you display your dies. Suggestion: put window film over your windows to protect your stamps and inks from the sunlight. Thank you for sharing your crafting space with us.
Hello Barbara. I would love to see your craft space. A porch conversion sounds neat. I purge regularly and still have so much stuff. Thank you for your suggestion of potting window film on my windows. That is a great idea. Thank you so much for watching. 💜
Hello, I do my crafting from my dining room, so when I see how nice it is to have a bigger space and more places to put my supplies. I am trying to to move half my things up stairs. Like you said earlier in your video, I like to be able to see what I have. I am happy with what I have, but cannot wait to make it even better. Thank you for the share.
Thank you for watching! I started at my dining room table many years ago. A big space definitely isn't needed for being creative and making beautiful things. Enjoy organizing your upstairs space. 💜
@@TheresaH.CreatesHello, yes, I sure will enjoy. I have my computer desk , had to purchase a larger one and I use my dining table for my cricut when I need the space. I also use my table for my press. You take care and thank you for your comment.
One thing I can recommend is putting a sticker on the cap of your sprays . Use sticker paper and a punch and I use the spray/dauber to color the punch out and I put some glue on the cap and put the sticker on it. Makes it easier to know what colors you have.
Lovely craft room. I like it very much. My craft room is in my basement.. it works for me. Thank you for sharing. I have several IKEA Alex units, and yes I have one will all punches, I open the drawer and can see what I have! I love yours die storage.
I am so jealous! I watch a lot of craft room tours and basement rooms are my favorite. Basements aren't common in Texas though. Sigh... Thanks for confirming that storing punches will work with Alex drawers. Thank you for watching! 💜
Great job! I do mixed media, collage, paper crafting, and sewing. My suggestion is to get the inks/sprays and mediums/glues out of those fabric bins and onto a counter or table or desk. I use a bunch of lazy Susans in my studio and office - all different sizes. I also put stamp pads and other supplies in a large [rolling] Alex unit [Ikea] behind my chair opposite my craft table. [I don't stamp as much as you do.] As another commenter mentioned, ALEX drawers do not extend all the way out - but I like that feature, it's safer for me. There's also a multi-colored 10-drawer rolling cart where I store most of my washi collection [Michaels]. Those drawers ARE removable. I also have 2 multi-compartments revolving caddys - one is from Michaels. One holds 99% of my tools. The other holds extra wet adhesives. I also bought several clear, 3-drawer acrylic units form The Container Store for small bits and bobs. amazon sells them, too. In clear and colors! Even with all my storage solutions, I STILL end up with a hot mess of supplies on my craft table. Organizing/re-organizing is an ongoing process.... The most important tip is to keep your most often used items within arm's reach. Even if that means on the floor or under your table....tfs!
Thanks for watching! So many great ideas. I definitely need to get my inks, sprays and mediums out of the bins. I appreciate the input on the Alex drawers. Decisions, decisions lol 💜
Great room...my suggestion for your sprays and reinkers...a 2 tier kind of lazy metal organizer with separate sections. We have a store in Canada called Princess Auto with great ideas for garages, basements, and craftrooms. I can't share a picture on comments, but I will try and send a picture if you are on Facebook or Email.
Thank you for watching! I do need to get those out of the bins. I would love to see an example of metal trays you mentioned. My email is theresah.creates@gmail.com. 💜
Hi Theresa - new subbie. Thanks for sharing your craft room tour...I might try hanging most of my dies but may need 4 or 5 frames! 😀 I'm also a true crime junkie...
I love your Die Frames & your card holder stand! I use 2 IKEA rolling carts(1 in my kitchen, & the other in my crftroom), plus in my craftroom, I also have these rolling carts from Michael's: 1 Turquoise Lexinton, 3 Hudson (cards- mini's/tags/journals, hand lettering/planners/coloring), & 1 for gift wrap. If I had more room for bookcases, I'd use those instead, but I don't, so I use the carts. I also have an Expedite 25 cubbical from Ikea with an attached desk
Thank you for watching! The dies and card stand are my favorites. I love seeing them while I am creating. I really need a rolling cart to clear up space on my desk. 💜
I watch Murder shows too. Every day. ID TV is great! I also watch Hoarders and My 600lb Life. My husband will ask so what 600lb murderous hoarders are you going to watch tonight 😂😅🤣 I also love Survivor 💘 Thanks for sharing your awesome space 😊
Enjoy the tour. I’m like you and need to see the treasures I have to play with. Wish I had the wall space to frame my dies. Absolutely love that. I would like to make a suggestion. I have the Alex drawers and would suggest you look at the Michael’s version of the Alex drawers. Michael’s are a little bit wider so they can hold 12x12 paper plus they can be completely pulled out so you can carry it over to your work station if you want. The Alex don’t pull out completely so the back of the drawers are harder to access. For your flowers and buttons. I recommend finding a large bubble gum machine and put them in it. I store my flowers in one and it’s pretty and they stay dust free. The bubble gum machine sits on top of my book case
Perfect! I really appreciate the suggestions. Gumball machines would be so cute. It is good to hear the feedback on the Alex drawers. I will check out the Michaels version. Thank you so much! 💜
I love how you have your dies I too came from a large family and need noise my craft space is very very small I have a map drawer that I keep my wooden stamps in and the clear stamps I have in those stiff envelopes that velcro shut these I have in plastic drawers that are about size of open shoe box then have in categories I have plastic drawers I grabbed from a clearance long ago.. funny I just got done reorganizing my sewing space and craft area both share a room but one on one half and the other on the other half. The punches I have in the drawers I have small ones that are in those nail organizers then the others in those plastic drawers like you i I need visual so you showed a tub of your punches mine are in the drawers but I punched each punch with bright paper then I put the punched paper on outside on front of the drawer so what punches are in that drawer are on the front tacked on then took clear box tape and go over them all so I need a punch at a glance at the drawers I can see which drawer it is in this would work for your tub as well also i look at them to get inspired as well the nail drawers the same if I have two punches in the little drawer I have the punched paper on out side like a frog and a cat for example have the little punch taped to front of drawer. I have fibromyalgia so I need to be able to not move things to get to things and have it with in reach as much as I can so on a cup rack I have the fancy scissors over my desk I can reach my markers also in a wooden thing that is on it's side backed up to the wall under scissors and they lay on sides. I like yard sales and thrift stores and got one of those stamp n up ink pad holders that turns for some of ink pads a cassette case for the rest. Colored pencils in a turn tool holder same with water color pencils...not great with computers so not sure how to show except I have a blog if you typed in frugal measures it would come up and they come out each Monday I think it is next Monday that shows the stamp space if not the one after but I am sure if you type in stamp room it might bring up the drawers however I just changed the drawers around but you would get the idea my daughter does the computer part and I do content I will send her a pic of the now drawers to add to that post so you can see. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much for watching and sharing your organization ideas. I want a map drawer for my wood mounted stamps. I really like your idea about taping the images from your punches on the outside of your drawers. I will check out your blog. 💜
I really like your framed magnetic sheets for your dies!!! Im very visual, also. Do you happen to remember where you got your magnetic sheets? They appear to be large sheets of magnet. 🤔 Thanks for sharing all your neat ideas. 🤗
Thank you for watching! 💜 I purchased the sheets on Amazon. They are 8x10. Here is a link .. Magicfly Magnetic Adhesive Sheet... www.amazon.com/dp/B07JH7GW4B?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
P.S. I don't have many punches now - I donated a bunch. But the few I have left are stored in shoebox size plastic stackable containers from the Container store. They sit in a 2-tier shoe organizer shelf from Target that I bought MANY years ago. 3 of the 'shoebox containers fit on each shelf.. I store duct tape, packing tape and punches and morem in them. And my husband knows where to find the tapes in my craft room!
Congratulations on your awesome haul! If you can’t use the grand nestabilities dies, I’m interested in purchasing them from you. Again, congratulations on your haul!
I just donated over 50 punches! I kept the few I use but can I say punches are massive space eaters! I love your nesting die idea! I tried the huge magnet sheets for die’s but it was to time consuming for me to find what I needed! I’m glad it works for you! I was wondering what ink pad storage are you using? I need some for my Catherine Pooler inks! Thanks for sharing!
They take up so much space. I am trying so hard to keep them at a minimum. Lol I purchased the ink storage on Amazon. Here is the link... SANFURNEY 36 Slots Cell Phone... www.amazon.com/dp/B07YQG769G?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I haven't set up my stamp room yet in new house, so I am not positive that my plans for my sprays will work for me, but I am hopeful. I never use my sprays, so I have decided to put them on a 3-teired expanding shelf so that I can see them. Then they may get used. Stencils are in several binders according to size and then categories. I want the ease of flipping through plastic sleeves to find the stencil I want. The sleeves also protect the stencils from getting bent. I prefer 2 inch binders because then they don't get too heavy (and I am getting older).😊 The binders will also be put closer to me so that I will use them more, as will embossing folders. Love your magnetic framed display of die cuts, but I am short of wall space in new room. Mine are stored on magnetic sheets in sleeves by category. They are stored in mini crates on a dedicated desk for die cutting with the machines next to them so that I don't have to pick my Gemini and Gemini Junior up. They are HEAVY! Even the Cuttlebug weighs more than I want to be picking up in the future. Love your room and I am sure you will get it organized so that it works well for you. Good luck!
Congrats on the new home. I enjoyed the process of setting up my new space and really took my time. I need to look into something that will allow me to display my inks. They don't get as much use now that they're in the bin. Ooo...I like your idea of putting the stencils in protective sleeves in a binder. That would work well for me. The die system has been working great for me, but I know I've sacrificed a lot of wall space. I have to be very deliberate with the rest of my organization. When I had my dies in plastic sleeves, they were so heavy. Good luck with your space! 💜
@@TheresaH.Creates Thanks. Yes, I agree; dies are really heavy. I don't have to lift the mini crates because they are on a glass-topped desk. I can just pull the one I want forward. Thumb through it like in a file drawer and pick the one I want. I think my dies fit in about 6 or 7 mini crates. Would never work for you as you have many more dies than I do and your wall frames are so lovely. Wish I had the wall space so that I could do what you do. But I think mine will work as an efficient die cutting station. Won't probably be getting many more dies because I have barely used them. Bought them all right before everything went into storage (to unclutter old house), so have practically forgotten what I have. Can't wait to get it all set up and PLAY! 🙂 Hope you have a great day!
I purchased the magnetic sheets on Amazon. Here is the link... Magicfly Magnetic Adhesive Sheet 8 X 10 Inch, Pack of 30 Flexible Magnet Sheets with Adhesive, Easy Peel and Stick Self Adhesive for Photos, Crafts and Die Storage a.co/d/6uWJyQ5 They are fairly thin, but hold me dies securely.
How deep does the ink storage go? Is there a lot of wasted space behind them? Im not sure if i need these or they’re not the best use of a kallax cube.
Good eye! I am not positive, but I would guess 5-6 inches max. There is a lot of wasted space behind them and they wouldn't be ideal if I had more stuff to store or my room was smaller. I have tried a lot of options for inks over the years and this works the best for me so far. I think I will have plenty of space when I get the desk in the corner replaced and drawers installed. Fingers crossed! Thank you for watching. 💜
You could store extra stuff ( doubles etc) in behind the stamp pads racks. I do this on my dvd storage. I glued strips of moulding on the shelf so the front ones stay lined up, ( they wont get pushed back when you put your stamps away.)then store seldom watched dvds in behind the mouldings.
Your room is very nice. I do have the Alex drawers that fit under the desk and my table is normal height so I can’t put the wheels on it. That would probably be one thing I would change get a taller table so I can put the wheels on them so I can move them if I wanted to, if you’re going to look for a little rolling cart, I bought mine from IKEA and the only thing I don’t like about it is that they literally are so close together with the shelves. There are some other ones Ithat have more space or their layers differently I’d really look at all the different ones first before you buy, because whatever I put on the second or third shelf I don’t see it or it’s hard to get it in and out just my two cents. If you’re going to think about putting your punches in your drawers, you have to be careful because those punches weigh a lot, and the bottom of the drawers on the Alex drawers are not real Thicken strong. I love the way you display your cards for your family and friends to come in and pick a card. That’s such a great idea. I picked up my chair from my desk from Costco and it goes up and down and I really like it it’s very comfortable and the price was right:-) for your grandmother‘s hearts that she makes those are so pretty and I could see that you would want to display them. Why not make them into a garland??? What magnets are you using to hold up all your dies? I’m torn between putting them up on the wall like you did, or keeping them with the Stamps. Because you really like Winnie the Pooh I just saw today that Echo Park came out with a Winnie the Pooh paper pack and it’s super cute. Just thought I would share that with you. Thanks for sharing your incredible room with us. God bless:)
So many fantastic ideas! Thank you so much for your comment. I have the Winnie the Pooh collection in my cart right now. It is too cute. I always forget about Costco. They do have some good deals on office stuff. 💜
I love your space and love that it works for you! I'm in the minority I guess. I love my stuff, I just don't want to see it! I keep it all in a closet, (2) 7' tall armoirs and 2 sets of drawers. You wouldn't know it's a craft room :)
Thank you! I love my space. The funny thing is that I only like that look in my craft room. The rest of my house is very simple and everything is put away. I think the "visual" creators and "put away" creators are pretty evenly split. It would be interesting to know for sure. I can definitely appreciate a nice clean craft space. 💜
I love the idea of your card rack and making them available to friends and family. How sweet. Great space.
Thank you for watching! The card rack is one of my favorite pieces. 💜

I just subbed too. 😊
Thank you! 🤗
Magnetic sheets where did you get those? Do you know the thickness of them.
I purchased the magnetic sheets on Amazon. Here is the link...
Magicfly Magnetic Adhesive Sheet 8 X 10 Inch, Pack of 30 Flexible Magnet Sheets with Adhesive, Easy Peel and Stick Self Adhesive for Photos, Crafts and Die Storage a.co/d/6uWJyQ5
They are fairly thin, but hold me dies securely.
@@thistledewcreationsYes! I have started storing things behind the stamp storage. I have made so many changes. Thanks for watching! 💜
Can you provide a link for your ink holders from Amazon?
Sure thing! Here you go...

Try putting the cards you got from family and friends in an album.
Yes!!! This actually has me thinking of making a junk journal from the cards. Thanks for commenting. 💜
I store my stenosis in photo albums
That is a good idea. Several have mentioned that system and I like the idea of flipping through them. Thanks for the advice. 💜
@@TheresaH.Creates I don't have many stencils. I store them in page protectors in 2 sizes of 3-ring binders. A4/Letter and A5 sizes.
