Thank you for posting this video, I think, I have seen this 3 key walk elemnents on your webinar, so, as a consequence, I bought some basic cheap dance shoes to the office, and I "practice" tango walk in long corridors whenever going somewhere in the building, humming some tango melody...
Also keeps me in a good mood through the day... 😀

👋 great video, one of the best for waking technique.
I would like to add that in the moment where the follower is pushing towards the leader, answering on - his intention as you sad, the follower is taking the energy for the stap from this " pushing " towards the leader, and when the traveling - the step is longer, or has to be longer , I think bending the knee is helping doing a longer step.

As a beginner lead it was great to get a breakdown of the walk and how important to use the floor in a positive way

Hey guys.I have been watching your videos and stories lately and I learned a lot from you, thans for that. I have started learning tango 4 months ago and even though I work harder than others,I cannot seem to improve. And everybody praises the leaders in my tango class except for me and the followers started not to dance with me because I seem to not dance well and they want to dance with other people.
I have a dilemma. When nobody wants to dance with me how can I improve myself. Can you help me please? Do you have any tips?
    Thanks for responding in advance.
    Best Regards.

@cemorden, thank you for your comment :) Welcome to tango dancing and congratulations on starting your journey. Don't worry, the early stages can be challenging, you're not the only one in this situation! We recommend doing a lot of individual technique so you practice have a great axis and posture... and also remembering that your embrace should feel like a hug (so being very gentle) every time you dance with someone :) Let us know how it goes!
