How to Make an Origami Spiky Balloon! - Rob's World

In this video, I get cleaned up before explaining how to make a Spiky Balloon, originally called the "Stellated Octahedron" designed by Sam Ciulla, that you can blow up. When inflated, it is top heavy and will "flip" or turn if oriented properly.
It requires we use a square piece of paper, which can be converted from an 8.5 x 11" paper (Letter size) or you may use origami paper. As we precrease the paper numerous times, it will allow us to create a Spiky Balloon!

The best thing about Rob's Videos are he doesn't assume something is obvious even though it's clear it's super simple to him.

U are so awesome rob. I started origami when I was 10 and know I'm 13 and I'm still doing origami. My very first origami model I made was the water bomb and u were the first person I learned it from. Your so cool. And the number of times u said "rub your finger nail" is 5

The spiky balloon looks really interesting at the beginning but seems so simple after it's finished.
It's just that if you know how to make an ordinary paper balloon, you can easily make a spiky balloon as well !!

I actually am half way done with that video for a while now, lol! I held off because I was actually having difficulty completing the model in a reasonable time for the tutorial. That may be the next tutorial I release, thanks for paying attention and for the comment :-)
