As someone whose read a lot of manga and was reading Tokyo Revengers as it was coming out I gotta say the manga is actually quite good until the Three Deities/Save Mikey arc, from the start of that arc till the end of the manga feels like the mangaka was forced to continue the series after it's rightful ending (Ch. 198) and pretty much made it up as he went along, especially in the final fight and the ending. If u wanna read TR its a great manga but just do yourself a favor and stop at 198 lmao.

First time hearing about “Infection” from this, all I can think of this reads like the author might’ve been really sad Highschool of the Dead got cancelled so was like “I’ll do it myself then” and decided to make a similar series. Kind of want to read it now cause I actually liked Highschool of the Dead and this seems to be a good alternative to that.
Maybe this will make you more invested in goblin slayer, its actually based of the authors d&d campaign where he decided to stay in the first town and protect it from goblins :) it is phenomenal for a visualisation of a d&d story :)

The mere fact that most of the manga has great art and a decent premise or idea and maybe falter on execution tells me how important it is to remember someone somewhere will love your work. Keep making whatever you want. At some point, all the classics for the most part were not bestsellers and had to grow into the current audience. I don't watch Rent a girlfriend but people who claim attack on titan which is highly rated or Berserk etc say it's bad but rent a girlfriend leaves them happy and engaged. There is no rule to art...that's what makes it art. It is expressions of your deepest desires for others to enjoy and if they don't it's akin to someone not liking your makeup...pointless. Were all people and strive to connect...art and media is how we do it, and I'm glad humanity continues to do so. Even if a lot of humanity wants to label 99% of work trash and overrated etc.
I watched the anime of "Couple of Cuckoos" and everything about it was screaming Wasted Potential for me. There were many ways to make this more interesting but we ended up getting 24 episodes of nothing. I think the manah is still ongoing though.

You should read Pygmalion, zombie apocalypse manga about japan's mascot costumes coming to life and causing gory mayhem. Also if you thought Deadtube was crazy there in volume 1 it only gets crazier as the series goes on. To a point where it feels more like a shounen thriller than a horror. The shock does indeed wear off (except for one scene that sticks out in my mind simply because i was surprised it actually had the balls to do it) but i feel it makes up for that by just being...fun? idk what other word to describe it i just simply enjoyed it.

Ayyyyy really nice video!! Loaded with great moments throughout, and the editing felt polished. It wasn't too noticeable though, which is a good thing because it means the entire video flowed smoothly and there were no jarring moments. Plus I especially liked the background track and introduction of Miso Misou :3

I looked more into it and it seems that its last iteration is also pretty bad, since there's some SA that makes the manga pretty edgy for most people. But if you want to read an actually good story about a "wolf guy", I'd suggest everyone to read Fables by Bill Willingham, it's the comic that inspired The Wolf Among Us by Telltale Games.

I like tragic stories. Pretty sure there is actually a compelling story behind all the "things" of Metamorphosis, but I just can't be bothered to dig for it.
I consider Henshin/Metamorphosis/177013 as a revolutionary manga and a great manga as such. It's one of the most shocking and upsetting things I've ever read. It surely is unforgettable. In a way, it's the most noble example of hentai manga, as it is clearly a hentai but it does not just stop at that: it builds a character which you find petty, despicable at times, but you feel an incredible amount of empathy towards, which is what makes it so painful to read. Most notably, the manga ends up showing a deep social critique, not only making you see the brutality of group dynamics (with the school kids especially near the end) and of our economic system in which once you fall that low there is no way in hell you're gonna get better, but it makes you feel all that hopelessness and it hurts, it hurts and you hate it, so you come to hate that social system, those social dynamics. It should hurt, it's good that it makes you feel that bad, because that pain has a purpose.

I read a lot of Dead Tube and I definitely wouldn't say it's a good manga. It's just numbing shock material. Metamorphosis is hentai, because sex scenes are really explicit and detailed. Manga that have sex but aren't hentai usually try to be slightly more subtle with the sex stuff.

I've read a lot of the horror type ones like Jinmen and really enjoyed them. Pumkin Night is a fun read too. It nails exactly what it's trying to be. Fun, silly characters, over the top deaths, not too serious. Pupa is way too much for me though 😂 Actually half of these are pretty good and kind of confused why they're on this list. 🥲

I understand why someone would think it wastes your time. It takes 4 volumes to set things up and really reach its stride.

I like tragic stories. Pretty sure there is actually a compelling story behind all the "things" of Metamorphosis, but I just can't be bothered to dig for it.
If you have to dig for it, you are too young to read it.
I consider Henshin/Metamorphosis/177013 as a revolutionary manga and a great manga as such. It's one of the most shocking and upsetting things I've ever read. It surely is unforgettable. In a way, it's the most noble example of hentai manga, as it is clearly a hentai but it does not just stop at that: it builds a character which you find petty, despicable at times, but you feel an incredible amount of empathy towards, which is what makes it so painful to read. Most notably, the manga ends up showing a deep social critique, not only making you see the brutality of group dynamics (with the school kids especially near the end) and of our economic system in which once you fall that low there is no way in hell you're gonna get better, but it makes you feel all that hopelessness and it hurts, it hurts and you hate it, so you come to hate that social system, those social dynamics. It should hurt, it's good that it makes you feel that bad, because that pain has a purpose.
Recommend nejimaki kagyu this manga would never get an adaptation

I don't know what you're on bro 😂, Magical Girl Site and Deadtube are great manga. And Metamorphosis isn't that bad. She literally chose that life so I didn't feel bad for her through none of it. I don't at all see how it's H but because at no point did I want to yank it to that manga but still 😂.
I feel like people needs to stop fighting off everything dark as "edgy". It's such a non criticism because it doesn't really mean much. People just say something is edgy and leave it at that without ever actually explaining what they don't like about it.
And bro if you think characters in Deadtube are to "unrealistic" you have never paid attention to the people of this world 😅. There's dark and evil people of there AND there's plenty of depressed people who will just do anything.
When I say unrealistic I mean not enough character progression or world building has been laid out to make me ‘believe’ yes this is unrealistic but in the context of this story it is realistic. That’s the difference.
I read a lot of Dead Tube and I definitely wouldn't say it's a good manga. It's just numbing shock material.
Metamorphosis is hentai, because sex scenes are really explicit and detailed. Manga that have sex but aren't hentai usually try to be slightly more subtle with the sex stuff.

Pumpkin Night eventually turns into the absolute worst translation ive ever seen getting worse and worse. The translator keeps inputting his politics and transphobic racist messages, and the cringiest internet meme jokes ive ever seen. I've read a lot of the horror type ones like Jinmen and really enjoyed them. Pumkin Night is a fun read too. It nails exactly what it's trying to be. Fun, silly characters, over the top deaths, not too serious.
