Bro I got spoiled cause I ended up looking at the wiki before I got there, so I was like "oh im not gonna cry" And then when it actually happened, it hit me like a truck and i was freaking bawling so much. It's such an intense and emotional chapter
Actually hoyoverse will update story in 2 patches but seems like it will be like 2 more months. Anyway, honkai is amazing in terms of storytelling, chars, music, maybe gameplay part and corridor levels will be something not enjoyable, but the plot experience should give to you a lot of emotions, especially when player surpass beginners chapters.

Cute dorm chibis aside, the game also has hilarious events, with memey references, fourth wall breaks and overall great self-ridicule fun (except The Day You Vanished With The Stars, that one is just unrelenting cruelty and the #1 saddest and most depressing side story in the entire game).

I recently fell into Honkai 3rd as well and i can tell u, u'll love it if u like plenty of game modes not to mention all the stories!! Its also my first time hearing the chinese VA's, they sound not bad, but considering i barely know any japanese nor know chinese i get the feeling i'm missing out on alot.

That intro with Kiana casually kicking down a flying jet and the fight on top of another one is still such a dope opening to a game (straight out of Bayonetta actually, one of Hoyo's many MANY game and anime references). Also everyone complains how the story drags on for the first 8 chapters, but I'd say it's doing comprehensive worldbuilding - you need all the tiny details to get the full context of everything that happens later, and that takes time. It could probably be done in a more streamlined and quicker way, but I'd say it's more Honkai veterans being impatient for when they get too experience new Captains reach the "fun" parts of the game (yes, us Honkai vets are a nasty bunch).

Ying playing Honkai made me scream, yes. U should probably try out all the battlesuits in the training thingies (on the 3rd screen down on Attack w/ Ai-Chan on the window). It’ll really help out in not only knowing how to use them, it’ll also help in finding out which units’s playstyles you like most.

hello ying! instead of getting a controller, you can instead just reconfigure the settings to be like genshin's. the dash/dodge be shift, ulti be Q and then weapon skill be E. for attacking, you can just have the mouse hovering over the attack button.

The hooded Bronya is one of my favourite versions of her to play. She's also one of the best Ice Supports, and she's farmable. Fischl is similarly the best Lightning Support, and farmable. Both are SP units, meaning they're from alternate timelines.

apparently the game is like the sequel to the manhua's story. I was also very confused abt what was happening at first, but reading the manhua helped A LOT
If you want, you can change the movement and battle controls to the ones from Genshin. I have them switched to that since I'm more used to it and causes less hand strain

as a honkai level 78 captain, i would highly recommend playing the story *with* the manga, it adds a lot of depth and context to the story itself
interestingly 5.8 will add manga icons next to related game chapters, so it will be easier to follow story

hello ying! instead of getting a controller, you can instead just reconfigure the settings to be like genshin's. the dash/dodge be shift, ulti be Q and then weapon skill be E. for attacking, you can just have the mouse hovering over the attack button.

(also, when fighting with seele, you'll notice that there's a little purple bar at the bottom, once that bar becomes full you click the attack button once, and then click it again but this you hold it down. It's for a special attack(

I have absolutely been loving the game, the story and characters are absolutely amazing and the animation for the cg is so incredible. Hoyoverse absolutely kills it with their games
Also the music too like! It's all so good
I joined around ver 4.7 and have been enjoying the game since, not sure if you'll stick around and keep up with it but if you do I think you'll really enjoy it! Honkai is such a fun game~

The hooded Bronya is one of my favourite versions of her to play. She's also one of the best Ice Supports, and she's farmable. Fischl is similarly the best Lightning Support, and farmable. Both are SP units, meaning they're from alternate timelines.

apparently the game is like the sequel to the manhua's story. I was also very confused abt what was happening at first, but reading the manhua helped A LOT
