Actually they are able to do passable thing, but apparently they accept way too much work to care about how it's made. I know a pair of sculptors (that do that for a living), they are way better, but also are not 1/doing this kind of business 2/ quite slow. That's the same quality as people drawing comics by tracing from photographs, it has no movement, and faces feel wrong because they are stuck into an unnatural movement.
