Its a Pearl free floating snare with the brass shell. I think the depth is 6.5" on the shell. Has been my go-to snare for years

I got into UL through Derik & our friend Kevin who was playing guitar with them already. Not with any bands at the moment but working on some things! Berklee is a massive waste of money really. I don't know any professional working musicians that went to college & almost everyone ends up dropping out of berklee anyway. Its cool if you just want to learn, but otherwise any degree in music will be useless in the "real world". Great to hear from you as well man!
