They’ve had a bunch of hits over the last few years and if you check out their stuff on here you’ll likely recognize one of their tracks. They’re from Ottawa, Canada so they’re a lot bigger over here. Lately, they both branched out to try their hand at solo stuff.
@@jpz4347 Correct - he wasn't confident in his singing so Jamie did most of it and he DJ'd/sang harmonies/backup. He was very involved in the videos though and they were very much a duo. They had creative differences and decided to split and this song really gave him the confidence to go solo. He didn't feel comfortable having someone else sing this particular song because of the meaning and how important it was for him, so he did a lot of work on his vocals to make this happen. He's just kept going with it since!
