Air bag code 8 flashes. Started flashing after engine start.
Accidentally engaged shoulder belt inertia locking system..
When car was restarted light was gone.

that code simply means that that light (jewel) is burned out , replace the lamp , it literally means that light has failed that's it , it's that simple , police cars are very prone for this as the passenger seat usually hold loose equipment in a one officer car , the computer thinks someone is seated in the seat without a safety belt , and turns that light on to inform that the passenger airbag is in off mode , and the bulb simply burns out , when it does it sets off the light in the instrument cluster
