Hosted by a guy who not only understands the sport being a former fighter, he understands the business side to a degree as well, so he’s got a great eye/view to get the right publicity and hype for each fighter depending on their personality. @@reidk4795 yeah this guy wrote good stuff. But you can't deny that Helwani has so much more experience. Like he was travelling in buses with fighters like rampage Jackson. Like who would do that and he wasn't sitting and relaxing and eating donuts. I doubt Helwani even had three meals that day. Helwani might throw some tough questions around but please so many years of really tough experience with all the travel and preparation. It was definitely tougher than what Schaub is doing. You need to go in time and watch all those old videos of Helwani to really understand why he's so tough mentally. He has had it rough. I always criticize Helwani but suddenly when someone said Helwani needs to learn from Schaub, that really took me back. No Helwani is someone who is on another level and has worked real hard for it. Helwani sure has earned his name and fame
@Rakesh Sharma I totally agree, Ariel has been around since the beginning and he really shows he’s actual passion for the fighters and the fans. The guy almost got banned from ufc events for leaking a fight a few years back. No doubt Schaub is entertaining but I thinks he’s interview skills still have room for improvement. I think that he needs to balance his fun questions really focused ones that actually press his interviewee into uncomfortable territory like Ariel does. I feel like the majority of schaubs interviews feel totally one sided and just aim to boost the image of the person he’s interviewing. I’m was so happy to see Ariel become the official espn mma podcast with chael. Honestly I ignore the disrespect towards Ariel, at the end of the day he’s the one who got the espn deal not schaub
