Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Dontavyion Wicks, Bo Melton, Malik Heath, Romeo Doubs. This is the most underrated WR corp in the NFL. People believe WR corps need superstar wide receivers, but GB’s works like no others. The point is for all the receivers to work together so you can throw to anyone, and the defense has to keep an eye on every receiver, unlike more so keeping an eye on WR’s like Tyreek, JJettas, Ja’Marr, etc… you have to focus on every wide receiver.
@gregginter5867 ....no. not really. Travis Kelce gets the bulk of those. I think Mahomes is just good. Your receiving core is very very eh. Without your running game this last year, you wouldn't have won a playoff game let alone a super bowl. I really wanted skye moore to be that guy.😂
Love Wicky. He was my guy last year. Doubie has the hands, Watson has the speed/size, Reed has the speed, Wicky has the separation and Y.A.C. Throw in a little Bo Melton and some Malik Heath… These guys are all special. Can’t wait for this season.
slight mod to the list. Reed has the Quickness/Speed. Everything else. SPOT ON!!! Do Kraft, Musgrave and Sims count as receivers? Lol Bruh...we're LOADED with an offensive WONDER at HC lol
I’d say Doubs and Wicks. Slot being Reed obviously. And Watson in the slot. They still have two tight ends that can combine to put up Travis Kelce numbers.
@@KamikazeJustice 9 routes are overrated. His game on the perimeter is easy to defend. Boundary receivers are valuable because of their route running ability. Not just all speed.
Watson is the breakout player . Going into year 3 after injury has plagued him the first 2. If he stays healthy and all season , he could have a special year. His size speed combination he could totally breakout and put up monster numbers.
Even with his hamstring problem the last 2 seasons, he was still a great weapon. Watson's Yds Per Catch proves he's the Packers best deep threat. He had 5 TDs in 9 games, and he should have had 6 TDs, if the other team didn't horse collar him.
@@Lilmickcrocodiledundee0001 I don't know why a lot of fans don't like him, he's got so much potential. He also had some crazy good games against good teams, Cowboys, Eagles, Chiefs, Lions.
I’m so excited for this year. I can’t wait for this team to show everyone that we are the real deal. Jordan Love is a top tier qb and we have such an amazing offense. The defense should definitely improve under Jeff Hafley. Remember to keep God first in everything!
Great video, great comments. Jordan Love could throw for 5k yards this season with these WRs. However the Packers will blow out so many opponents this year that LaFkier will be running out the clock in many 4th qtrs, so 5k passing yards may not happen after all.
100% wicks potential is sky high but I also think that Watson and reed and doubs as well have the chance to all be legit 1s and 2s all on the same team they all have different styles and there own individual skill sets which fits perfectly with our offense
Love you Bas keep making these awsome vids, i love wicks as a player straight up dog, ever since his breakaway td in week 2, i knew he was something special 🤘
It is rare to see a young receiver run the right route so consistently. This is intelligence. This is commitment. Amazing young player. What many forget is that wide receiver in the NFL is not about speed; it's about getting open and catching the ball. Lots of guys are fast, but they run poor routes, never learn how to beat DBs, etc. When a receiver is open play after play, they have long careers.
We don't need a number 1. The strategy is to confuse the defense. That means all 5-6 WR's can get spread the ball and both of the TE's, also our RB's are going to be thrown the ball. It's going to be very confusing for other defenses. I don't see anyone being able to stop this team.
@@maxjaeger40 All the opposing teams need to do is check the WR stats, and they can figure out who's the No. 1. But if Love keeps spreading the ball around, that will be harder to do.
Honestly, I'm just excited we have SO much talent at WR... After 2013, it's been pretty much, "Yeah, we got this 1 guy." I'm just loving the versatility and depth right now. I also think that's going to go a long way on Love's development at QB. Where GB doesn't have this "stud #1" calling for the ball every week. It helps Matt just the same way in SF. Where you don't know what "poison" is going to happen from week 2 week. Honestly, we might not know who #1 is till 2 years from now. Which isn't a bad thing at all!! Plus, we got Josh and the rook running the ball. Along with a Defense (potentially) as good as 96!! As a Packers fan, D has always been our achilles heel. That's going to be the difference this year!!!!
From what I saw last year, Wicks has the most potential to be a true number 1. But that Love and Doubs connection is special. Then we still have Reed. We have too much receivers lmao
Id be interested in what you think the packers' stats are going to be for the 2024-2025 season. Offense and Defense. Maybe include Oline stats too (sacks given up / hurries)
Being a lover of defense, all of the Packers receivers would get me excited to go against but Doubs seems "different" this year... His point of attack seems sharper and he was getting off the ground more than I could remember in past years from the videos show from this offseason this far... But they all are so close...
I agree Romeo doubs might not run routes as good as wicks, but his route tree is very very open compared to wicks I feel like.. it makes doubs a every down player and I love it
The only question in my mind is does he get the chance to be the #1? His talent is undeniable. With Watson, Doubs, Reed and Melton really coming on, will he get enough touches to be a #1. I personally hope he does but it will cost one or more of the other guys to be scaled back in touches. I really think he's got a chance to do it but if Doubs, Reed and Watson all play great it'll be tough to get the opportunity to build that resume. I like all these guys and want all of them to succeed and there are too many to predict who's on the field the most. This is a great problem to have and knowing Love they will all get their moments to shine.
My opinion, listening to another packet said if anyone can do damage football team would be Christian wants him lately. It seems like he hasn’t been getting injured my own opinion the one you talking about seems like he doesn’t get hurt too.✅✅
I love wicks but to me after going back and watching the film, when Watson is healthy and on the football field he’s WR1 you can sense and feel the connection and chemistry they have. But no doubt Doubs or Wicks could also take on that role but to me it’s Watson.
I don’t know I got my eyes stuck on Christian rock and it seems like he’s been working on not getting hard. Everyone seems like you. It looks like he hasn’t been getting hurt at least trying, but I have to be with you the receiver you’re talking about.✅✅
I remember when so many people including packers fans complained about this wr room and now so many are switching up and talking about how good this wr room is. So many people were coming for Gutey’s job and talking about how he should be fired. Crazy how things have changed
Everyone on the Packers are catching the ball better than Adams did in his first two seasons, and Rodgers babied him to greatness, and it hurt the rest of the WRs' development, imo. I like how Love spreads the ball around.
@@SokemRokemRobot yes me too. Trash talkers saying we haven't got a true number 1, no one putting those numbers up. There's a reason for that, we're a team. We've got 5 number 1s.
I think Wicks is going to be the #1 by the end of next year at the latest. He specializes in rout running and has good enough measurable to be a top guy. Adam’s is the best route runner in the league but took nearly 4 years to really become elite. Wicks is probably a better route runner in year 1 than Adam’s was. You should do a video comparing their first years. If he had the same drive to be the best he can do it. I’d rather take an elite route runner than a guy like Watson who can only do 1 thing. Watson is elite of the elite as an athlete but relies on it too much.
Everyone needs to stop sleeping on Romeo.. he’s been out most consistent behind Reed.. no doubt Wicks has the talent to be number 1 or 2 but if anything I think we might start seeing some spread offense a little more. All of these guys can beat someone one on one.
Disagree, I just don't think he will get enough opportunities since Watson, Doubs , Reed , Melton and add the TEs and running game, just don't think he gets enough throws...
Probably because of his 4.62 in the 40. That's slow for WR, but then again, Jerry Rice was slow, too. From the info I have, he was projected for the 6th RD, so the Packers did draft him a little sooner in the 5th RD.
