Yes I absolutely agree. There was a time where my heart was definitely on moving to The Gambia ( I’m from the UK) however I was put off by people telling me that the Gambian practice a lot of Juju ( magic), though I’ve never had that information verified. I’m now exploring Ghana.
@@blackbeautifulandsmart2849 every African country practicd Juju.. remember our ancestors used to practice it n it depends on if it's for good or for bad... GOOD LUCK
Nice vlog. I was in the Gambia six years ago. I liked it very much. Beautiful people, a lot of reggae music and you can hear the adhan (islamic call to prayer) five times a day all over town. Success and salaams from the Netherlands.
Sister really Africa is best place to live I'm Gambian live in Europe for more than 19 years now but my wife and my two daughters all living in the Gambia may Allah bless you and your family in the Gambia 🇬🇲

No blackouts. Done lived in Gambia , Senegal. Togo. Guinea-Bissau..love those countries and their peoples, what an amazing experience. Morocco is what I ve always been looking for. New subscriber !! Really enjoy your content. Thanks so much for keeping it real, and your vlogs are so educative. Wishing you the best in your endeavors. Welcomed home sis from a Gambian sister.
Sis consider buying the 5gallon bottles from right choice or today’s market. You can get a pump from right choice too. Or if you want the hot/cold option you can get the stand for around 6000-7000
The trick to the head-carry is a tikoo. a piece of fabric maybe 3 by 1 foot roughly rolled in a circle, pop it on your head and makes the carrying very manageable. Although you are right, I have never met anyone as strong as an African woman who has been doing all the things all her life.
Sista. You have beautiful content. We have lived in the Gambia for a year and love it just as much as you. We are visiting America now but will soon return. We are also reverts and would love for my children to meet yours.
Love your content! Can't wait to see more. Maybe you can try making coconut milk from fresh coconut/ buy from store as it might be more readily available than almond milk.
Really nice video. We are back in the states temporarily but your videos make me feel like I am back home. We rent a place in Sukata now but we intend to start the building process on our return in March. Those American markets can get pretty expensive in a relatively sure period if you are not careful especially with eight children.. Thanks for the the great content. May Allah continue to bless you and your family with all that is good. Ameen.
Loved this vlog! I’m excited to see more in sha Allah. Sis you need a trolley lol! Walking down the street seeing the animals reminds me of Egypt. Goats, sheep, donkey’s, horses, chickens, just chilling on the side of the roads lol.and that ramen!! Amazing. If you can find the same brand in white with the fried egg on it, they are a must try! LOL. The junk food was a marvel because like you said it was so much cleaner. I remember reading a Twinkie package and it had regal ingredients lol (sugar, flour etc).
