Nope, benches are still 7 players. I’ve been asking for EA to change this for 3 years now. Only reason I can see why EA wont change this is because of ultimate team. However, they can simply keep ultimate team benches at 7, but career mode benches at 9. Seems like such a minor patch that can be applied mid season, but of course, EA don’t really care about any mode that doesn’t build revenue
Commentary is really poor this year seems to have gone backwards commentary names that were in fifa 23 have now gone meaning there are large gaps in commentary where nothing is said very poor

The cut scenes are next gen exclusive because EA are lazy and are using basic cut scenes as new next gen technology because there wouldn't be much difference between generations other than graphics, really it's ideal for everyone in the industry including developers if people buy next gen consoles, every decision EA makes usually comes down to money.

Gameplay feels a lot better than FIFA 23 and love the clattering slide tackles. Dribbling can feel much more ‘Ankara Messi’ if you have the ability. It’s definitely a bigger leap than FIFA 22 to FIFA 23 had. Although as always, they release a game that’s imcomplete. So unless you’re desperate to try it, it’s probably worth waiting until the price goes down aswell as giving time for EA to rectify issues and add the things that are missing. (For example: Manager faces. I even noticed Zinchenko didn’t have a game face, which he’s had in x amount of the previous versions). It’s the 1%era they always lack on, aswell as being lazy.

I’m not buying another fifa game until they add the walk in cutscenes back, they literally took the only thing that made career mode realistic away. They love to ruin their game, if you don’t like them there was already a button for us to skip them why take them away for us the ones that loved the realism.
