I still think the most absurd part about this episode is that not only did the golden shower tape actually exist and was presented as evidence but it rly did take like a full 20 years to finally convict him 💀
Between that and him getting Aaliyah pregnant at like 13 R Kelly actually never seeing the light of the pearly gates.
No the most absurd part is Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and every rocker and musician from the past did exactly the same thing but not facing consequences. Just look up Steven Tyler.

The funniest part of this entire episode is that the victim girl who was relieved on by R Kelly was voiced by Jill Talley🤣 I cant even be offended by her “blaccent” bc thats true talent

Jill voicing the black teenager wasn't really a big deal she only had a few lines and if I remember correctly she voiced a black woman in a later episode. This was a brilliant show with a diverse group of voice actors. The cast was predominantly black but overall everyone was very talented and everyone had range... black actors voiced white characters too.

There are definitely people that are still listening to R. Kelly on account that many of these YT polls about the best singer often have R. Kelly winning over Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, etc. for whatever reason... I gave up on him back in 2003 or so when he did that interview on BET and he ain't even have the decency to lie to us about the situation. So I haven't listened to him since then because I can't get with the assault and pedophilia on top of that.

Early 90s r Kelly did have a trial on the same issue stated in the episode and he was found not guilty even tho the evidence was damning. So the creator of the show is recreating it high lighting the faults in the black community that we don’t hold each other accountable. The new r Kelly doc was way after this show aired. It’s just to tell you black people been letting r Kelly slide for decades till me to movement of recent got him out of here.
